Chapter 17-Unedited

"Ethan give me back my ice cream" I growled at him

"No way" he said moving to the other side of the kitchen island

"Ethan" I warned my anger flaring, who does he think he is taking my ice cream? Does he even know the trouble I went through to get that?

I let out a battle cry and lunged at him. He yelp in surprise as I tackled him to the ground stupidly knocking  the ice cream off his hand. I watched in agony as my ice cream went crushing down and spilling out of its container to the floor.

I snapped my head towards Ethan who was lying under me and gave him a death glare before getting off him and living the kitchen to my bedroom. That had been the last ice cream in the house and with me being on my periods it was very comforting but Ethan decided to be little prick and take it from me. Going to the stores to get one was really out of the question, I will have to drive an hour to get there and I'm really not in the mood.

Getting inside my room, I decided to take a shower and wear my comfortable pyjamas. When I was done with my shower, I went back to my room  with a towel wrapped around me. I jumped half a mile when I found someone unfamiliar sitting on the edge of my bed starring at his phone.

He looked up when he realized I was in the room and gave me a breathtaking smile and bowed. He had dirty blond hair, a set of beautiful blue eyes and full lips that surprisingly a small, tiny part of me wanted to kiss. Realizing the direction of my thoughts I shook my head viciously, I couldn't be thinking about another guy that way, I have Paul.

"Can I help you?" I choked out.

"My lady. My apologies for budging inside your room like this, I had to introduce my self and prince Ethan wasn't sure if you will ever come out of your room, you're said to be upset" he replied in a dark velvet voice that made my abdomen clench painfully, stirring some confusing feelings inside of me.

"Can you wait for me downstairs? I'll be there in a few minutes" he bowed again and left my room.

I clenched the towel tightly around me releasing a breath I didn't know I was holding. Why did I feel such things for this strange man. Paul was my mate and he was supposed to be the one to make me all hot and bothered but why had I felt that was about Mr. blue eyes. It must be his voice and smile, I'm sure it is.

Ten minutes later, I was dressed in my comfortable sweats and a long sleeve T-shirt with my fluffy sleepers, walking downstairs to the living room where I heard voices coming from.

Ethan was sitting with the stranger who was in my room on the couch and on the other side set James with another man whom I did not know, they were all in an intense conversation but I sensed no hostility.

They all looked my way when they finally realized I was standing there. The two man stood up and bowed their heads in respect, not sure what to do I bowed slightly and ordered them to sit down, my eyes trailed on one man in particular, the one that came to my room.

"I'm Kyle and this is Brian we come from the dragon city" he introduced gesturing slightly to his compatriot when he introduced him.

"Nice to meet you" I said, moving go sit on an empty couch.

"The pleasure is all ours" the other one Brian said and its only then that I focused my attention to him.

My breath got caught in my throat and I stopped breathing. He was very beautiful, dark brown hair, gray eyes and a very beautiful tan skin.

"What brings you to our quarters" Ethan asked pulling me out of my trance.

"We have come to see our queen of course" Brian replied and Kyle nodded his head in agreement.

"You come a very long way you must be tired" James said offering him a small smile.

"Yes indeed we are, I hope you don't mind prince Ethan if we stayed a few days" Kyle asked

"I will have to talk to my Alpha when he gets back and I'm sure he wouldn't mind" Ethan replied. My head snapped to him.

"Paul is not here?" This was news to me, he never said anything about going anywhere today.

"Yes he's visiting his parents but he'll be back in a few hours" James replied.

Well, I wonder why he didn't tell me.

"We have also come with matters that need to be attended to" Kyle spoke up. I exchanged glances with Ethan

"Which are" I asked.

"The next cycle of the elemental kingdom is coming, since we have found the queen and, I'm the superior of the Fire kingdom. We need to find the superior of both the air and earth kingdom" Kyle explained.

"What about the superior of the water kingdom" Ethan asked.

"Prince Ethan, you are the superior of the water kingdom" Brian replied. Ethan nodded his head in understanding.

"Please call me Ethan and live the royalties to my sister" Ethan said to them.

"Well if you insist"

"Yes please, I insist"

"Okay I'm more than confused. You are all going on like I even know what any of this means" I argued. Kyle and Brian exchanged confused glances.

"She has lived a human life from the day she was born" Ethan explained

"And I only found out that I was the queen a few months ago" I filled in.

Kyle stared at me with wide eyes.

"All this time you never knew the power of your blood?" He asked.

"Nope, not at all"

"No one has ever drawn any blood from you right"

"No one" I confirmed, both of them sighed in relief.

"How about a bonfire later and then you can tell us all about elementals because I also don't know much" Ethan suggested.

"Sure no problem" Kyle said with a big grin.

"Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to-"

"Ethan knock it off"Lisa scowled her boyfriend.

"It makes it interesting" Ethan argued. Trust only him to say that.

We were currently sitting by the bonfire that was created in the back yard. The guardians decided to join us, Zoe, Jane and even Mike were all here as well as my uncle, Jarred and his father.

"Okay where do I start?" Kyle asked

"Try the beginning" Ethan suggested.

"Right, I'm sure your familiar with your grandmother's story" he asked me and I just nodded my head in agreement.

"Elementals have a life cycle in way, after a hundred years the queen, superiors of the other four elements come together for the joining of blood, to make us strong and to pass on the gene to the young ones" he paused.

"Before your grandmother died she was able to gather all the other superiors and perform the ritual"

"If you are of fire where are the other superiors?" Ethan asked

"We are not quite sure about the whereabouts of the others" Brian answered him.

"So what your saying is, for this to be complete, I have to go and find these other two" I asked

"Yes my lady and find your true mate" Kyle confirmed.

Wait, what?

"Ethan do you have any idea who is leading your kingdom?" one of the guardians asked

"Wait, I have found my mate" I cut off Ethan before he replied.

"Who?" Kyle asked with wide eyes and I swear I saw some hurt in them.

"Paul the Alpha of this pack" they exchanged glances.

"Okay then" Brian said with a smile but I could swear it was faked.

After that we just chatted amongst ourselves and Ethan was quite excited when he learned he had a kingdom of his own, had it been up to him we would have packed our bags and left but we couldn't, both Ethan and I have found our mates here and as much as I was angry with Paul who never told me he was living and who hasn't been back yet, I just couldn't leave him, my heart broke at the thought.

The guardians also tell us stories from a long time ago and how the people of kingdom lived in the past. I ask them why they cant just tell us where the others are so that we can find them and get this over and done with, but the promise that they cant and destiny has to unfold the way it was written and that they didn't want to interfere with the orders of life.

"When is the next cycle supposed to start" I asked

"Next year, December" Kyle replied. We were currently in November, meaning I had thirteen months to find others.

"But the ritual must be completed two months before" Okay make that eleven months total and I don't even know where to start, nobody does.
