Chapter 13- Unedited 

I woke up feeling rested and fresh, for the past five days I've been falling in and out of unconsciousness and haven't left my bed, well except for the time I have to go to the bathroom and when Paul forced me to take a shower. Most of my bruises are healed due to our ability to heal fast. I've been having strange dreams lately, like being killed, being pregnant with a vampire's child and that was the worst dream ever.

A knock on the door pulled me out of my thoughts. The door opened to reveal Paul who had a smile on his face.

"Hey you're awake" he said stepping inside and closing the door

"Surprisingly" I replied with a smile of my own. He came towards my bed and I moved slightly to allow him to sit on my bed

"How are you feeling"

"I feel really relaxed" I told him. He seemed nervous and couldn't stop fidgeting with his Jacket and looked anywhere but me.

"Whats wrong?" I asked putting my hand on his shoulder.

He cleared his throat "Uhm... would you like to go out tonight?" He asked and I couldn't help but laugh at him, I found it funny that a guy like him could honestly can be nervous of asking me to go out on a date with him. Apparently he got wounded by my reaction.

"Never mind" he mumbled standing up to leave.

"Hey where are you going?" I asked totally taken aback by his reaction. He didn't even look back, he just left banging the door on the way out. I instantly felt bad for laughing maybe I wounded his ego since it seemed like he had a hard time even asking me to go out with him. I realized that sitting in bed was not going to solve my problem.

I took a quick shower and settled for a pair of sweat pants, a long sleeve T-shirt and black converse and went down to the living room. When I got downstairs, Ethan was sitting on the couch with Lisa on his lap, next to them set Jared, Zoe and Jane all of them watching television. When they felt my presence Ethan whipped his head around and grinned at me.

"She's alive!" He exclaimed enthusiastically.

"Yeah unfortunately" I mumbled proceeding to take a sit on a free couch. Ethan just shot me a sympathetic smile, he must know about what happened between Paul and I.

"Whats got you all worked up?" Jarred asked noting my bad mood

"Stupid me laughed at the alpha when he asked me out on a date" Lisa and Jane gasped loudly while Zoe smirked at me but I felt very bad for doing what I did.

"You are officially an idiot" Jane exclaimed.

"Hey! That's not how you speak to the royal highness. Show some respect" Zoe scowled playfully and I just laughed.

"Fuck the royal highness! Poor Paul must be wounded" trust Jane to make you feel even more guilty.

I let out a long sigh "I know okay. That's why I need to find him" I said standing up.

"He probably went for run in the woods" Ethan said to me. I just nodded and left the room.

When I got outside I immediately smelled his scent and the trail was leading towards the woods like Ethan said. I ran to the nearby tree and peeled off my clothes making sure to fold them nicely before shifting to my fairy side.

I whined a bit after I shifted, it was really painful considering the fact that I haven't transformed in a long time. When the pain subsided, I ran following the trail that Paul had left behind.

After a long run, I finally spotted Paul in a clearing, in his wolf form sprawled on the snow and seeming to be lost in thought. He felt my presence and his head snapped in my direction. He let out a small growl and I wished we can communicate with minds but we couldn't because we have completed the mating process yet.

I went over and set next to him so close that our shoulders were touching. Even in my wolf form the spark that I felt every time I was close to him was much stronger. He turned his head towards me and stared down on me, I stared back at him, long and hard. Words cannot be uttered but I saw the hurt in his face and I knew that I had offended him with my actions earlier.

I leaned in and rested my head under his chin and snuggled closer to him. We stayed like that a couple of hours before he started liking my ear making me jump in surprise.

Looking into his eyes, I can see that all is forgiven. He starts to stand up and run back from where we came from and I soon follow him. When we are a few meters away from the mansion, he disappears behind a tree and emerges seconds later topless with only his sweatpants on. Looking at his naked chest makes me release a low growl causing Paul to grin widely at me. Stupid bastard.

We start to walk back to and now it my time to change and I inwardly smile at myself for the wicked plan that was forming inside my head.

I walked up to my clothes and start shifting back right in front of him. He makes a sound at the back of his throat and his eyes turn super black and I just smile wickedly at him. Before I could say anything he takes two large steps and smashes me against the tree, his lips colliding with mine.

The kiss was urgent, hot and very passionate. He grabbed my bare hips and lifted me up, I wrapped my legs around his waist and pulled his head into me deepening the kiss. The sound of a throat clearing made me just half a mile.

"Why are you guys making babies behind the tree? couldn't you find a bed or something" Paul's little brother said standing a few feet from us, eyes covered with his hands.

"Shut up Nate. What the hell are you doing here?" Paul demanded.

I picked up my clothes and put them on as fast as I could.

"You can open your eyes now" I told him my face red with embarrassment. He slowly took his hands off his face and smiled when he saw I was fully clothed.

"Hi, my name is Nate. I didn't get the chance to introduce myself" he said smiling.

"Nice to meet you Nate" I said with a smile of my own.

"Is there a reason at all you disturbed us?" Paul asked slightly annoyed. I glared at him, its not like we were going to do the deed right here.

"Oh yeah. The parentals are here" he said to his brother. I froze and realizing my reaction, Paul offered me a small smile.

"You can go straight to your room if you're not ready to meet them" he offered. I thought about and realized I've got nothing to lose.

"Nah lets go meet your parents"

He smiled and took my hand into his leading us back to the house, Nate following closely behind.

When we got inside, voices coming from the living room could be heard. Paul gave me a gentle squeeze and lead me towards his parents who were in the living room.

"Oh hey son" his dad greets being the first one to actually spot us. Upon hearing her husband's exclamation the woman whom I believe is Paul's mother turns and smiles broadly. Paul had inherited the dark hair and eye color from his father but he looked more of his mother than his father.

"Hey, you must be Eleanor. I've heard so much about you" his mother says. Paul's father scoffs.

"Haven't heard anything about you" he tells me. Paul glares at his father who laughs at him.

"Don't mind him, he hasn't taken his meds" Paul's mother said to me.

"How can you let him miss his meds" Nate asks feighning shock.

"Hey!" Their father exclaims and everyone just laughs at him.

"I'm Meredith and this is my husband John" Paul's mother does the introduction.

"Eleanor" I know they know my name but I just had to say it.

"Well now that you here we can get Lisa and Jane to come help us make lunch. Zoe cant cook to save a life, but don't tell her I said that" Meredith said

"I heard that" Zoe shouted from upstairs.

"I'm just kidding honey you know I love you" Meredith shouted back and with that we went to the kitchen for the cooking, Lisa and Jane joining us.
