Chapter 35: Toddler Troubles

January 21st (Hovering Over the Ocean)

(Gary's POV)

After two tough missions back to back, I was officially pissed. After what should have been 30 minutes to stop the thieves, it took a four-hour chase across the city and then two hours to help set things right. It was now 5:30 in the morning and we were currently hovering over the ocean on our hoverboards to get back to Lilycove.

"Can someone tell me why it took four hours to take down two thieves?" Ash asked tiredly.

"They were troublesome," Paul grunted.

"It didn't help that they kept playing chase and disappearing with their psychic pokemon," Drew added in annoyance.

"Can we skip class today?" Ash whined.

"We can't, not with our attendance record," I said tiredly causing Ash to groan loudly.

"Finally," Paul muttered as the coast came into view.

After 15 minutes, we made it back to the house. Without a word, we split up and went to our bedrooms to crash. I didn't even bother to change or crawl under the bedding, I just belly flopped and was instantly out.

I must have forgot to set my alarm because next thing I knew, I woke up to a crash, causing me to turn and sit upright. I looked at the clock to see that it was 9:45 am and heard another crash. I bolted out of the room to find the other guys peeking out of their bedrooms also looking concerned and disoriented.

Another crash was heard and we ran downstairs to find the place a disaster.

"What the fu...?" Paul muttered as we heard giggling and crashing coming from the kitchen.

We ran in there to find four little girls with familiar hair coloring.

"This....is not happening," I muttered as the girls suddenly turned around to see us.

"Run!" little May shouted as the girls giggled and ran out of the kitchen.

"Hey!" Drew called as the girls disappeared upstairs.

We ran after them and heard giggling coming from our rooms. I walked into mine to find little Leaf jumping on my bed.

"Leaf...." I said cautiously causing her to stop and turn to look at me.

I took slow small steps towards her in order to capture when all of sudden she smiled mischievously and threw a pillow at my head. I caught the pillow, but she slipped behind me when I was catching it. She didn't get far as she tripped on some dirty clothes on the floor and fell.

I then caught her and threw her over my shoulder, "Gothca!"

I then felt little fists pounding my back, "Put me down you big meanie!"

I felt myself grin a little as I made my way downstairs to find the other girls on the couch with the guys keeping a close eye on them.

I put on the couch and she tried to run, but I grabbed her, "Stay," I said sternly.

She huffed and crossed her arms, but did as I asked.

"What the hell happened while we were gone?" Drew asked tiredly as he rubbed his face.

"Who are you?" little Misty asked suspiciously.

The guys and I looked at her in surprise, "You don't recognize us?" Ash asked.

"Leafy might," I said as I knelt down in front of her. "Do you know me?"

She looked at me with big hazel eyes, "Gary," she said slowly and then turned and pointed to Ash, "Ash."

"Do you know us?" Drew asked.

Little Leaf shook her head.

"How old are you?" Paul asked Dawn.

"Uh....four," little Dawn said as she held up four fingers.

"I'm four!" little May chimed in excited.

"I'm five," little Misty huffed.

"I'm five," little Leaf answered.

"Please tell me this is not happening," Paul groaned tiredly as he rubbed his temples.

"I'm guessing someone hit them with something so they would regress in age," Drew hypothesized.

"Girls, who made this mess?" I asked while gesturing to the living room and kitchen.

"She did it," all of them exclaimed as they pointed to each other.

"Go figure," Paul muttered.

"What happened?" Ash asked.

"We woke up and wanted to play so we went to find toys," little May said. "But there are no toys. While looking, I found them and we decided to play together."

"We were explorers," little Leaf said excitedly. "We climbed mountains and escaped booby traps."

The other girls giggled at booby, while little Leaf continued talking, "We got hungry so we went into the kitchen to find food."

"Everything is too big so we climbed up and grabbed what we could reach," little Dawn added.

"That explains the broken dishes," Drew sighed.

"What do you last remember?" Paul asked.

The girls looked at him confused causing him to sigh.

"They must have been hit sometime during the night while we were gone," he said.

"Well girls, you made a huge mess. I think you need a time out," Ash said.

"No!" the girls cried as they started to gather tears in their eyes.

"You've got to be kidding me," Paul groaned.

"You need to accept the consequences of your actions," Ash said firmly.

"No!" little Misty shouted as she tried to run away, but Ash caught her before she went off.

"Come on," Ash said as he took little Dawn's hand while I took little May's and Leaf's.

"I'll watch them in timeout," he volunteered as had the girls sit in different parts of the computer facing the wall. "You can help Paul and Drew with damage control."

"You sure?" I asked him skeptically as I turned to see little Misty sitting angrily, little May had tears streaming down her face, and little Dawn and Leaf were sitting quietly.

"I got 'em, how hard can it......" he started to say.

"If you finish that, I'ma sock you in the face," I deadpanned as I was tired and in no mood for Ash to jinx us.

Little Leaf giggled from her corner and quickly turned back around as I turned my head toward her.

I looked at her with slight suspicion before I left the room for the kitchen to find Paul and Drew starting to clean up the girls' mess.

Paul looked up and gave me a deadpan look, "You left Ash alone with the girls, are you that stupid?"

I rolled my eyes, "He said he could handle it."

Drew joined Paul in making a deadpanned face causing me to raise my hands in mock surrender, "Fine, I'll go back."

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

(Paul's POV)

I watched as Gary went back into the computer room.

"He must be more tired than he thought if he thought it would be okay to leave Ash alone with the girls," Drew commented as we went back to cleaning.

"Hmmm," I hummed in agreement. Not that I couldn't disagree, we were all exhausted and this happening was not helping.

After what seemed like 5 minutes, Ash and Gary brought the girls into the living room.

"Why did you bring them out of timeout?" I asked annoyed.

"You can't leave kids forever in timeout, it's not effective. I figured they could help partake in cleaning up since they made the mess," Ash said smartly.

Drew and Gary looked at him in surprised while I looked at him skeptically, "Fine, whatever."

Ash and Gary then had the girls help them in the living room til I felt something tug my shirt. I turned and looked down to see little Dawn was the source.

She looked up at me shyly, "Can I help?"

I sighed, too tired to put up a fight, "Sure."

She beamed and went to a chair and tried to move it to the sink. After watching her struggle for a minute, I moved the chair for her. She got on it and I gave her a rag to wash the dishes in the sink. She washed the first dish and looked to me for approval.

I inspected it and nodded, "Fine."

She beamed again and leapt forward to give me a hug while almost falling off the chair.

"You're troublesome even at this age," I muttered as I carefully pulled myself away after catching her.

"What's troublesome mean?" she asked with a slight head tilt.

"It means you cause trouble."

She pouted, "No, I don't."

She then stomped her foot and turned away causing me to smirk. It reminded me of how she was when we were around each other for the first few years.

"Alright," I relented. "You're not troublesome."

She then turned around and smiled, "You're a troublemaker."

She gasped with big eyes and pounded on tiny fist on my upper arm, "Meanie!" she claimed causing a slight grin and chuckle to escape.

She then smiled big, "You smiled!" she laughed happily.

I rubbed her head gently as I felt my smile widen a tiny bit. I had to admit, she was cute when she smiled like that. It was like she had her own little ray of sunshine.

"I guess I did," I admitted as I told her to turn around and continue washing.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

(Drew's POV)

Two hours later, we had finished cleaning and had eaten lunch which was an interesting experience in of itself. I did not think that lunch would be that complicated. No crusted sandwiches and pokemon shaped foods, geez.

After lunch, the guys and I decided the girls needed to take a nap so we faced the unpleasant task of getting the girls to sleep. Thank Arceus that May was willing to take a nap. I went down to find Gary in the living while Paul and Ash must still have been upstairs still trying to coerce little Misty and Dawn to go to sleep.

"Today has been weird," Gary commented as I sprawled out on one of chairs in the common area.

"Biggest understatement ever," I sighed tiredly as I raised an arm over my eyes.

"After Paul and Ash get little Misty and Dawn to sleep, we should contact Max to see if he can help us reverse what happened to the girls," Gary said as Paul made an appearance.

He collapsed on the other free chair and groaned into his hands, "Ugh, Troublesome," he grumbled.

Gary and I shared sly smirks at his comment.

After five minutes, Ash still hadn't made an appearance.

"Maybe we should start without him, knowing Misty's stubbornness," Paul finally commented.

"Should we check to make sure little Misty hasn't murdered him yet?" Gary joked with slight concern.

I sighed tiredly, "I'll go," I volunteered.

I groaned as I struggled to get up and made my way upstairs. I went to Misty's room to see that neither she nor Ash were there. I quietly peeked in the other girls' rooms to find them asleep, but no little Misty or Ash. I walked to the guy's side and saw that Ash's door was closed. I leaned my ear against the door didn't hear anything. I quietly peeked in to see that little Misty was curled up against Ash who also fell asleep. I smiled a little as I took out my wallet and quickly took a picture. I quietly closed the door and made my way back downstairs.

"Well?" Gary asked seeing me.

"He fell asleep along with little Misty," I reported as I showed the picture.

"Figures," Gary smirked with one eye closed lazily.

"So how do we figure out what happened to the girls?" I asked.

"DNA," Paul answered as he held up what looked like a hair.

He then took out his wallet and scanned it. After a couple seconds, his wallet beeped to signal it was finished.

Paul frowned, "Looks like the girls were zapped with some that would have them reduce their age."

"Better see if Max has any insight," I said as I pulled up his info on the main computer and called him.

After a couple seconds, he picked up, "Hey guys," he said before looking at us with some concern. "You look like hell."

"Thanks a lot," Gary muttered.

"You know what I mean," Max retorted. "What happened to you guys?"

"Back to back missions and girlfriends turned into 5 year-olds," I answered.

Max looked at us confused, "Figuratively or literally?"

"Definitely literally," Paul answered. "I pulled a hair from Troublesome's head and scanned it to see what the story was with her DNA.

He pulled out his wallet to send Max the results. We heard a ding as Max clicked on his computer and frowned.

"Weird, but I can't say it's the weirdest thing I've seen. Where are the girls now?"

"Napping," we answered monotone.

"Ooookay," Max answered. "I think the best thing to do right now is to keep them contained while I try to find a way to reverse the process."

Gary, Paul, and I sighed heavily at the headache before us.

"It can't be....." Max started to say.

"You finish that and I'll crash your computer," Paul threatened.

Max rolled his eyes, "And he calls his girlfriend dramatic," he muttered causing me and Gary to smirk tiredly while Paul gave his best death glare in his current state.

"Since I'll be busy with this, I'll send reinforcements to help you," Max said with a slight smirk before disappearing.

"Should we be concerned?" I asked tiredly.

"I wouldn't," a new voice retorted. "I've got everything under control."

I sighed more knowing the voice, "Like you can handle them," I muttered.

"I can always leave and then you'll never get any sleep," Lizzie retorted as she put down what looked like a box of little girl clothes.

"Fine, they've had lunch and are napping. Have fun," Gary yawned as the guys and I made our exit and returned to our rooms. I barely made it to my bed before passing out once more.

When I woke up again, I saw that it was 6:21 am the next day. I slept almost 18 hours, was that even possible? I decided to grab fresh clothes and take a shower before heading to classes. When I finished and returned to my room, I found a familiar crop of brown hair out of the corner of my eye peeking into my room.

I smirk, "I see you," I tease without turning to look at her.

"No you can't," she retorted since I still had my back turned.

"Of course I can, I have eyes in the back of my head," I said smartly as I turned to look at her.

"No you don't," she frowned.

I smiled some at her frown and decided to change the topic, "What are you doing up? Aren't you sleepy?" I asked as I knelt down to match her height.

May looked sad, "I had a nightmare, Tentecruel were everywhere," she said as tears started to appear in her eyes causing my heart to ache.

I picked her up and cradled her into my side, "Well they won't hurt you now," I said as I went to sit on my bed.

I felt May move her head and she noticed my backpack, "Where are you going?"

"I have to go to school."

"I wanna go."

"No you don't, school's not fun. It's boring."

"I wanna go!"

Great. It's too early for this.

"Don't you want to stay here and have fun with Lizzie?"

"No! I wanna stay with you," she said as she burrowed her head into my chest while grabbing my shirt.

As much as I was touched by May's actions, I had to go. My attendance record depended on it.

I grabbed my bag as I still held May and made my way downstairs. I looked at the couch hoping to find a mop of familiar green hair, but didn't see anything.

I put my bag on the kitchen table and found a note. "I had to leave to help Max and prepare for a contest. Have fun! Lizzie"

"Perfect," I muttered before looking at May. "Looks like you get to spend the day with me."

Her face lit up with a huge smile and her eyes widened, "HURRAY!"

"Ssssshhhhhh," I chuckled. "People are still sleeping."

"Hurray!" she whispered causing me to chuckle again.

After I placed May on the floor and started putting breakfast together for the both of us. Gary came down while holding Leaf and yawned.

"Guess what kind of wakeup call I got?" he asked as he put Leaf down.

I smirked at a range of possibilities, "How?"

"I woke up to the bed shaking and a pillow being smacked in my face repeatedly," Gary said grumpily while glaring at Leaf, causing her to giggle in response.

I suppressed a chuckle, "Sucks to be you."

Gary frowned at me, "Didn't you get a rude awakening?"

"No, I woke up on my own and found this one peeking in on me as I was getting ready for class," I said while gesturing my head to May.

I helped May to sit in one of the chairs and put some jelly toast in front of her to eat.

"Yummy!" she exclaimed after her first bite.

"I want some," Leaf pouted.

"Please," Gary chided.

"Please," Leaf added.

"Apologize to Gary for waking him up rudely and then I'll make some," I proposed.

Leaf frowned slightly, "No sorry, no jelly toast," I said firmly.

She turned to Gary who knelt down to her level and looked a little nervous, "Sorry," she said quietly.

"Sorry for what?" Gary asked.

"Sorry for jumping and hitting you with a pillow," she said as tears began to appear.

"I forgive you," he said with a sympathetic grin. "Can I have a hug?"

She gave him one and gave him a small grin before turning to me, "Can I have some jelly toast please?"

"Yes, you can," I said as I went to make some more while Gary helped her sit in a chair.

By the time the jelly toast was ready, Ash came down with Misty while Paul carried Dawn like a sack of potatoes.

I shared a raised eyebrow with Gary before we looked at Paul, "Don't ask," he deadpanned as he put Dawn down.

Misty and Dawn after sitting looked at Leaf's jelly toast, "I want some," they both proclaimed.

"Please," Ash added.

"Please," Misty and Dawn mirrored.

"What am I? The jelly toast man?" I asked.

"Yes," May quickly responded causing the guys to smirk at me.

I rolled my eyes, "Would you like some?" I asked sarcastically asked the guys.

"We're good," Ash answered as they went to grab what they wanted to eat.

"Where's Lizzie?" Paul asked.

"She abandoned us. Claims she had to help Max and prepare for a contest," I muttered.

"What are we going to do? We can't skip classes again," Ash reminded.

"Well we can't bring the girls without a ton of questions being asked," Paul retorted.

"Not to mention they would be bored and cause mischief," Gary added.

"Maybe we can plead our case to Steven and work on what we miss while the girls sleep?" I proposed.

The guys looked skeptic, "It's not like you have any other bright ideas," I muttered in retort. "One of you make the call, I'm on jelly toast duty."

By the time I served Dawn and Misty their toast, Gary came back.

"Steven actually bought it. He'll email our teachers and let them know the basics of what's happening and have them email the materials and homework."

"We don't say this much, but hurray for teachers," Ash said tiredly.

"Can we see the pokemon?" Leaf randomly asked ending our current conversation.

"We still have to feed them," Gary agreed.

"Not to mention the girls' pokemon as well," Paul added.

"Can we see them now?" May asked.

"You need to wait, Dawn and Misty are still eating," I said. Not to mention the guys and I were still eating as well.

"I wanna see them now," May said a little more forcefully.

"And you will have to wait," I said getting slightly irritated.

"I don't wanna wait," May frowned.

"You are going to have to," I said with a slight frown. "And if you ask again, you won't get to see them at all."

I heard small quiet gasps from the other girls while May crossed her arms and fumed in her chair.

I mentally groaned, parenting is hard.

After finishing five minutes later and an interesting episode of helping May get dressed, I grabbed both mine and hers pokemon and we went outside.

"Can I call them out?" she asked excitedly.

I nodded with a small smile and gave her her pokemon to call out.

"Come on out everyone!" she said excitedly as I called out my pokemon.

They appeared and looked at May in surprise, "Long story short, someone made her turn younger," I summarized.

The others appeared with their pokemon and called them out as well. While the girls entertained the pokemon, the guys and I prepared their food.

"What does pokemon food taste like?" May wondered as the girls watched the pokemon eat.

I looked at her with amusement, "Why do you want to know?"

"Cause I do."

I mentally rolled my eyes, "It's not as good as people food."

"I wanna try."

"I wanna try too!" the others exclaimed.

The other guys looked at me and I shot them a look back, but before I could do anything, May's munchlax walked over with a handful of his pokemon food and the girls took a pelt to try.

"YUCKY!" they exclaimed after eating it.

The pokemon snickered while the guys and I sighed tiredly.

"I told you," I said smartly.

May frowned at me as the pokemon finished eating.

"We might as well do some training since we called them out. Some of the girls' pokemon can watch them while we're busy," Paul suggested.

"Sounds good to me," Ash agreed. "I think I finally figured a way to beat you this time?"

Paul smirked, "Yea right."

They told their pokemon to follow them and walked a couple yards away to start their battle. Gary decided to train his and Leaf's pokemon and I decided to start thinking of combinations with mine for a contest appeal test that was coming up soon. Meanwhile, May's, Dawn's, and Misty's pokemon, besides piplup, bunneary, pachirisu, marill, decatty, and munchlax, were doing whatever as the others were playing with the girls.

After a while, I decided my pokemon had had enough training and recalled them. Gary did the same with his and Leaf's pokemon. We then sat down under a tree watching some of the pokemon played tag with the girls.

"Tag, your it!"

"It's weird to watch them at this age," I decided.

"I guess for you it is, but for me, it's like watching old memories from when I was younger."

"Right. You and Ash grew up together with Leaf," I agreed.

Gary nodded.

I then let my mind wander as I watched them play. It was pleasant to watch May without having a care in the world, having a sense of innocence, before the whole nasty episode of hers and Max's parents' death and the chaotic world she embraced and was expected to help protect. My mind then drifted to replay my time with her as 4-year-old self. Is this how our kids might be some day?

I snapped out of my train of thought when I heard a scream. Gary and I sat up and quickly scanned the area in front of us to figure out what was wrong. We saw that everyone was no longer in front of us. We heard the scream again coming from the trees. Gary and I rushed toward the sound with the pokemon close on our heels.

We entered the woods to find Misty and Dawn stuck in an ariados web with half a dozen ariados surrounding Leaf, May, and their pokemon. The queen ariados was standing in the web above Misty and Dawn and Misty screamed again in full blown panic. Right, she's deathly afraid of bug pokemon.

"What they hell happened? Why weren't you two watching them," Paul snapped as he and Ash as well as their pokemon caught up to us.

"May, Leaf!" Gary and I shouted getting their attention.

"Drew, Gary, save us!" they sobbed in fear as the ariados were prepping for string shot.

"Blaziken, Infernape, Magmortar, flamethrower!" Paul, Ash, and I call.

The flames knocked out the ariados allowing Leaf and May to run into mine and Gary's arms. They clung to us as life itself depending on it, shaking from the experience. Meanwhile the queen used scary face causing our pokemon to flinch.

"Shit," Paul muttered as the effect would knock out flamethrower.

"Scizzor, use slash!" Gary ordered.

Scizzor reacted quickly and cut Dawn and Misty from the web. Paul and Ash quickly ran up and caught them as the queen ariados was prepping for poison sting.

"Lucario, protect!" I called.

Lucario summoned protect just in time as poison sting was released. When the attack ceased, Lucario dropped protect as Paul and Ash ran to where we were.

"Ursaring, use hyperbeam!" Paul ordered.

Ursaring charged up for the attack and released shortly thereafter causing the queen to faint.

"I wanna go home," Dawn sobbed quietly as we called our pokemon back.

Paul's hold on her tightened, "Let's go home," he agreed quietly.

We then walked back to the house where the girls had a small lunch and were put down for a nap. While they were sleeping, we decided to jump on our homework while we had a chance.

"I still don't get why we need to know this? What does classical, boring reading have to do with pokemon training?" Ash complained. "Let alone physics."

"Because physics could save your life," Gary pointed out as my wallet started to ring.

"Please tell me you figured out something," I said as I answered it while transferring the call to the big screen.

"Yes and no. I have something that might work, but I'm not sure it'll fix the problem," Max said uneasily. "It would be easier to construct the solution knowing what was in it in the first place. Don't you have a clue who did it?"

"Probably someone loony," Paul muttered in annoyance as all our wallets pinged.

"You've got to be kidding me?" Gary groaned. "Of all the times..."

"Let me guess? Mission?"

"Yup, but how are we going to do this? We can't bring the girls with us and we definitely can't leave them here," Ash said as he tossed his books aside.

"Can't Lizzie watch them?" I asked Max.

He shook his head, "She's busy with other stuff and I can't watch them either."

"We can't bring them to any other people cause it's too much explaining that I don't wanna deal with," Gary groaned.

"We could leave a few pokemon behind to keep track of them, probably psychic ones so they can communicate with the girls," Paul suggested.

I sighed, "We don't really have a choice. We'll have Gardevoir and Espeon watch them. Probably Piplup as well since he's closest to Dawn."

Ash looked at Pikachu, "Think you can handle watching Misty buddy?"

Pikachu nodded, "I guess that settles that," Gary said as he went upstairs to retrieve the pokemon.

"I'll teleport the formula to the house as soon as it's finished."

"We'll tell the pokemon what to expect," I said as I ended the call.

Gary then came down with Piplup, Espeon, and Gardevoir, "I told them the situation so they know what to do."

"Max will send over a formula for the girls to take that will hopefully change them back to normal," I told them as we suited up and went to retrieve some gadgets. "Gardevoir, could you teleport me to the place I'm thinking of?"

Gardevoir nodded and we soon popped off to our destination.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

(No Ones POV)

After the guys left for their mission, the pokemon went upstairs to watch their respective charges til they woke up some time later. The pokemon decided it was best to corral them downstairs and have them watch TV.

Suddenly there was a ringing sound and Max's face appeared on the screen.

"Gardevoir, I just finished the formula for the girls to take. Have them drink it and hopefully they'll change back," he said as the formula appeared in glasses in front of the girls.

Since the formula was colorful, the girls seemed to think it was a sweet juice of some kind and drank it easily. After a minute, nothing happened.

Max sighed loudly, "You have got to be kidding me, nothing?!"

"Max! Get out here! I need your help!" Lizzie shouted from somewhere in the background.

"Why?" Max shouted back.

"Just get your butt over here!" Lizzie screeched.

Max sighed again, "Keep an eye on the girls, we'll have to figure this out when the guys come back."

His face then disappeared, but not before another beeping sound was heard and blinking dot appeared on a map.

"Gardevoir, what's that?" May asked.

"It's an SOS signal and it's showing where it's coming from on the map," she telepathically to them all.

"Is that bad?" Dawn asked.

The pokemon looked at each other nervously as they have seen this many times before when their trainers did missions.

"Are the boys in trouble?" Leaf asked.

The pokemon still have nothing causing the girls to frown.

"We've got to help them," Misty said determined while standing.

"But how are we going to help? We're only 4," Dawn piped up. "And we don't know how to fight."

"I know we can. Since we drank that juice, I feel I can do anything and they need our help," Misty said still determined.

"Misty's right, we've got to help them," May decided.

"You aren't going anywhere. You can't find in your condition," Gardevoir advised.

"We don't care, they saved us. Now we'll save them," Leaf stated.

"Teleport us where you teleported the boys," Misty commanded.

Rustboro City, Hoenn

(Gary's POV)

"And again, we have been captured by a lunatic," I muttered as we watched the wacked out villain pace about checking around some machine.

What started as investigating a simple theft, had us winding up being captured. Not only that, the villain took our stuff and triggered Ash's SOS signal by accident.

"Who are you calling a lunatic? I am the greatest scientist in the world!" the villain, Dr. Drevius, crowed.

"Really? Then how come we never heard of you," Paul retorted.

"Ah, you don't know me, but your girlfriends do," Dr. Drevius chuckled, causing us to frown.

"What do you mean?" Drew snapped.

"Ooh, I fought them way back and they captured me, but I escaped," Dr. Drevius sighed before he grinned evilly. "That's why I took my revenge on them so they could not stop me."

"So you're the one that reverted the girls ages," I accused angrily.

"Of course, pure genius on my part. I figured if I took care of them before, I could get away with my plans. I didn't count on you, but it helped you got caught in my trap and now I can take over the world!"

"Dare I ask what you plan to do?" Paul groaned.

"I will take my age reverter and zap all the world's scientists and no one will be smarter that me, Dr. Droopy Drevius. WWWAAAHHHHAHAHAHHAHA!" he cackled causing us to sweatdrop.

"Again, a lunatic," I confirmed.

"We'll see who's the lunatic," Dr. Drevius smirked as he pointed a ray at me.

"Hey bully!" a familiar voice shouted causing all of us to go wide eyed.

"No way.....Gardevoir, why the hell are they here?!" Paul demanded as the girls appeared, but still tiny.

"To save your butts!" Dawn proclaimed as the other girls nodded before jumping from the second floor and started to fight the robot minions that walked the floor.

"How the hell is this possible?" I gasped as I watched Leafy do a tumbling pass to dodge a robot before doing a roundhouse kick to destroy it.

"Max's potion probably," Drew guessed as Dr. Drevius shot his ray after the girls.

"Hold still," he screeched as he shot a few more times before he got May and Leaf cause the two accidently collided with each other and then got Dawn and Misty as they were distracted.

"No!" the guys and I shouted.

"Wahahaha! Nothing can stop me now," Dr. Drevius shouted in glee, but then frowned as the girls began to grow.

"You were saying," Leaf said with a smirk as she and the other girls were back to normal and started walking toward him slowly.

"But how?!" Dr. Drevius gasped as he looked at his machine. "Drat! I forget to put it in revert mode!"

The girls then laughed as they took him down, causing us guys to flinch watching the girls throw punches.

"Let's blow this popsicle stand. Pikachu, use Thunderbolt," Misty ordered as the girls freed us.

Pikachu unleased his attack and we took off running out of the building as it exploded, destroying everything.

We turned around to see the damage and let Officer Jenny and her men deal with the aftermath.

Gardevoir then teleported us back to the house, where I immediately hugged Leaf and the guys did the same with the girls.

"What the hell were you thinking?!" Drew demanded as we stepped out of the hugs.

"What? You needed saving and we knew we could help you," Misty retorted.

"And we were able to turn back to normal because of it," Dawn added.

The guys and I sighed, "Do you remember anything from the past day or so?" Ash asked curiously.

The girls looked at each other and shook their heads, "Not really, everything's a blur. Was it bad?" Leaf asked.

The guys and I looked at each other before sighing and smiled tiredly, "Let's just say, we've had enough excitement for a while," I decided.
