Character breakdown

Ok, so in the initial story, we had four primary characters that actually got named, their names are Melissa, Leo, Jackson, and Y/N

And due to how they were written and some of the roasts comparing three of the characters to animals, I decided to make them humanoids (basically humans with animal qualities)

Melissa is an usagi (rabbit)

Jackson is an Ōkami (wolf)

Leo is a Raion (lion) ((yes I know lions have round ears, it's just there are no round separate ears in gacha club so Leo has pointed ears, and as for the reason he's a lion, it's his name. I feel like he tries to howl out to fit in with his family even with the fact he is adopted))

And Y/n is a Chō (butterfly) Ga (moth) hybrid

If you're wondering, are usually use the Japanese names for creatures when describing humanoids that have animal qualities, for example Kitsune is the Japanese word for Fox and Neko is the Japanese word for cat, I've put the English translations of the animals next to the words.

Also to make the existence of Y/N less of a paradox we're going to assume that her mother was nine months pregnant with her and the doctors are able to save y/n but not her mother when the car hit her parents (in the story Y/N's parents are killed by a car and I want to keep that part)

As for sexualities
Y/n- questioning lesbian
Jackson- A bisexual trying to prove he's straight
Leo- gay but also trying to conform to heteronormativity
Melissa- pansexual

rae_thereader you had requested you be tagged in these, and just know this isn't even the first chapter, this is just letting people understand some things. But I hope you like the interpretation of your characters, it was really Melissa they gave me the idea to turn them into animal hybrids because the initial back hair I gave her was the bunny ears and I thought they looked cool.
