"Lucy, be a dear would you and grab my drink."

From the kitchen came Lucy, a beautiful long haired blonde with chocolate brown eyes. If you asked anyone they would tell you how amazing she is. Her friends would tell you she has a sweet heart, is smart, and strong. Men would tell you how she has a hot boy. Her best friend would tell you she is the best person in their life and they would die for her. Now if you asked her husband he'd say he's the luckiest man in the world.

"Here you go honey, do you need anything else? I'm about to head to Levy's to help with the twins," Lucy said as she sat his drink on the table next to him.

"No, that's all, go now I have things to do." He told her as he turned around. Lucy nodded and lean down to kiss him. "Lucy I have work to do, I don't have time, I'm sorry," he turned from her and continued to work on his computer.

Lucy signed and left the room. After closing the door she took a minute to compose her self then grabbed her purse and keys.

"Lucy I'm so glad you're here. Gajeel just left and the twins are hungry!" Levy told lucy as she let her into her home.

"Well I'm glad I'm here to help. Changing diapers beats being at home."

"So, did you get to talk to him all at about it?" Levy asked Lucy as she prepared the bottles of milk.

"No, I can't get two words in before he cuts me off and tells me he's busy with work and sends me away. Its sad Levy. I can't even tell him it bothers me how much time we spend apart. Yet, at the same time I don't care. I don't want to be in that house at all. It doesn't feel like a home anymore." Lucy told Levy.

"I'm sorry Lu, that must be hard. Are you guys even physical anymore"

"Not often and when he does want me it's after I've gone to sleep. He'll come to bed usually smelling of liquor and wakes me up. He's all Lucy baby I need you as he shoves my head towards his crotch. That or he will just start pulling my clothes off and starts kissing on me till I allow him to sleep with me."

Levy gazed at her friend with worried eyes. It broke her heart to see her friend hurting and being mentally and physically abused. Whether Lucy saw it or not, Levy could tell she was not okay with any of it.

"Enough talk about me, how's school going? I know you've been working on your masters thesis." Lucy asked as she started rocking Emma.

Now ten at night Lucy let out a big yawn and checked her phone. Knowing her husband would still be working on his computer she decided she would go to her favorite bar The Guild. She knew she'd have a good time and expected that her co-workers were probably still there.

Lucy is a teacher at Fairytail Academy. She teaches 6th grade and some 5th grade honor students. Many of her close friends work at the school. During their free time they tend to go to The Guild for drinks.

As Lucy drove to the bar she couldn't help but wonder if her husband was actually still working or if she was just using that as an excuse to not go home.

As she turned onto Magnolia Drive she could hear the ruckus coming from the bar. She smiled and pulled into the parking lot. She already noticed many of her friends cars and was eager to get inside.

Only a few feet into the bad and some one was already yelling her name. The blonde twisted around quickly to see her red head friend Ezra.

"Lucy, you finally made it! Hows was baby sitting?" Erza asked as she chugged some beers. Lucy knew soon Erza would be a mess.

"Well it was good. How's drinking?"

"FANTASTIC! Get you a drink and meet us in our spot."

Lucy nodded and went to the bar top. "One strawberry margarita please." As she went to pull out her wallet someone slapped the money on the counter for her. As she looked up she saw her one and only best friends big tooth grin.

"Yo Lucy, finally made it I see"

A smile made its was onto her face. He was the only person who could give her that smile whether she knew it or not.

"Natsu, thanks for that, I appreciate it." Lucy told him as she picked up her drink.

The pair walked over to their group and sat down. Everyone started chatting and cutting up. Especially Erza and the boys. Lucy and Juvia talked about their class considering they shared the same students but Lucy taught English and History while Juvia taught Math and Science.

Gray is an eighth grade teacher in the science division. While Natsu teachers gym and coaches the baseball team. Erza is the schools disciplinarian, handling any student who decides to cut up. Funny story, she chose the job because of how well she handled dealing with Natsu and Gray in school.

Now not all of Lucy friends work at the school. Like Gajeel, he's a musician who plays at local bars in the area and occasionally out town. Levy is a full time writer and is very successful. Erza's fiancé Jellal works at a big corporation.

"Hey Lucy why doesn't Mason ever come with you?"

"Because he is "working" on whatever it is he does," interrupted Natsu with a tone of annoyance. "Is the guy actually working or is he just in there pulling it - OuCh." Natsu yelled as Lucy elbowed him.

"That's not funny Natsu."

"Oh lighten up Lucy, it was just a joke."

"No Natsu, you know what's going on and it's not funny." With that she got up and went out to her car. Realizing she was feeling buzzed she decided to walk home. She knew being that it was only eleven Mason was surely to still be up and most likely isn't expecting her home for another hour or so. When she goes to Levy's she tells him she's there till she comes home.

She planned to sneak in and crawl in bed hoping he'd leave her alone so she can sleep off her drink.

The walk was nice and peaceful. It was a nice cool night, the moon wasn't visible but the stars shined bright. Lucy enjoy being out this night.

As she walked up to her house she noticed the light in her husbands office was off. Oh he's sleeping, perfect she thought. She doesn't have to worry about him have been drinking.

Lucy open the front door quietly and slipped off her shoes. As she walked to towards her room she heard her husband from the hall. She sighed hearing he was still awake and noticed he left the door open. There's no turning back now he's bound to hear her at this point.

As she got closer her heart dropped. From the shadows she could see it all. Her husband, with another woman on top of him. He was moaning her name, kissing her passionately, sleeping with her.

Lucy felt light headed and slowly backed away. Her heart beat started racing in her chest so loudly she couldn't even hear her self. As if auto drive she flew out of the house, slamming the front door as she left. The slam causing her husband to stop and jump up.

"Mason who was that did someone break in?" His mistress asked.

Mason looked at the window expecting to see Lucy's car, fearing she was home early and in the house, but it wasn't there. What he hadn't seen was Lucy running out of their yard.

Outside Lucy was running down the street tears streaming down her face. Her eyes and ears didn't want to believe what just happened. No, there was no way her Mason would cheat on her. It just wasn't possible and yet there she was running away. Unable to confront him.

Helpless and hurting Lucy found her self in front of her best friends apartment. She doubted he'd be home from the bar and if need be she would find the spare key. With all the energy she had left she knocked on the front door.

Within the building Natsu was wondering who was knocking on his door at this hour. Lazily he walked to the door and opened it a bit. To his surprise Lucy was standing there in tears.

"Lucy, what's wrong what happened??"

Lucy's lips trembled as she grabbed him as he was her last hope. She buried her face into his chest and sob out his name. It broke Natsu's heart. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into his apartment.

After letting her dry her tears and getting her to calm down a bit he tried to ask her what happened, but Lucy refused to say. She feared Natsu would go and kill him.

"Its fine Natsu, I just can't be at the house right now. Can I stay here tonight?" Lucy asked sniffling.

"Um yeah it's just that I um.."

"Hey natsu whose here- oh hey Lucy!"

Lucy looked over to see Natsu's fuck buddy Jennie. She snorted and started laughing realizing now it was Saturday night and she came to Natsu's after he'd been at the bar all night. This is typical of Natsu and Jennie.

"Hey Jennie, I'm sorry to intrude. I'll just go to Erza's Natsu don't worry about me." Lucy said as she shakily got up.

"No Lucy you're fine you don't have to leave. I can leave me and Natsu are done here anyway" she said as she winked at Natsu and proceed to go back in the room to gather her clothes being she's been standing there naked.

"Thanks Jennie, Lucy I'd offer you my bed but yeah.." Natsu said as he scratched his head.

"No, it's not problem I don't mind sleeping on the couch. You're doing enough for me as it is." Lucy said as she started making her self comfortable. "But before you go to bed can I can borrow a shirt?"

Natsu nodded and went to go grab her own of his bigger shirts. He tossed it to her and she left to change.

It's been a hour or so since Lucy fell asleep. Natsu of course is still worried, he could hear her crying in her sleep. He finally sees that her tears are dried and she resting easy. He leans over the back of the couch and rubs her head.

"Goodnight Lucy"

Natsu couldn't help but wonder what caused her to become this upset. He assumed it was her piece of shit husband. Natsu's always hated Mason, but after college Lucy was head over heals for him begging him to get along with him. Wanting to be happy for her Natsu tolerated the guy, but it was mutual they disliked each other. For obvious reasons, Natsu sensed something off about him. While Mason just didn't like that Lucy's best friend was a man.

Natsu was determined to find out what happened last night.

Wow a new story?? Will I actually finish this story or will it be left in the dust. I'm actually excited to try writing again. Not really sure where the idea for this story came from but let's do it!
