After a while just walking and moping to myself I stopped.

What I did was stupid.

I shouldn't have overreacted like that.

I hate guilt.

I turned around to start walking back to naruto when he bumped right into me.

"Watch where you're going blueberry!" I said.

He looked at me and smiled.

"Blueberry?" he said.

"First thing I thought of." I said.

"Look, I'm sorry Ketei-chan. I shouldn't had said that about you. "

"I probably shouldn't have snapped like that in the first place."

"Can we be friends again?" naruto said and extended his hand to me.

"Yeah. " I said and shook on it.

Then I punched him on the arm.

"So... What happened?" I said.

"Well we all passed..."

"Fuck my life. " I said.

"And, learned the point of the lesson which was teamwork. "

I clapped my hands together.

"We must celebrate! " I shouted.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking Ketei?"

"Ramen? "

"Ramen. "

And then we raced each other all the way to it.

---next day---

"So... What are we doing today? " I said.

"Recapturing a cat. " Kakashi said.

We were walking together towards the others and Kakashi was telling me the agenda.

Something stupid.

"So, Kakashi do you have a girlfriend? " I teased.

He froze and blushed.

"You don't? " I said.

"Well I did. " he confessed.

"Hm? Ooh, tell more. "

"Well I was thirteen years old. She was my everything really and I took her for granted. On her fourteenth birthday she disappeared. No one has heard from her since. They thought she might've gone rogue or something like that but I knew she wouldn't have. That wasn't like her. I think she's still out there though. "

"And you probably want to go be a knight in shining armor and go rescue her? "

"Sort of like that. "

"Well, what if she doesn't want to be rescued?"

"What? "

"If she loves you as much as you say she does then wouldn't she fight to get back?"

"Yes, when you put it like that, it makes sense. "

"Don't beat yourself up over her. You're only... How old are you? "

"Twenty three. "

"You're only twenty three years old. "

Then I stopped talking.

I felt my hands start to flow away.

I'm twelve years old and I'm starting school at the ninja academy today.

Its raining badly and I forgot my umbrella.

A boy I've never met comes up to me and gives me his.

Then he walks away.

Somehow it's colder than without an umbrella now.

-back to reality-

"Ketei? Ketei?"

I felt someone shaking me.

"Are you alright?"

I opened my eyes.

"Hi Kakashi? Is it a Monday?" I said.

"Whaa... Uh no. It's a Thursday. "

I laughed.

"Oops. "

I sat up.

"What happened? You just fell down on the ground and started shaking."

"I got a memory."

"You got one?"

"Yeah, I can't remember anything before the dead thing but every once in a while I remember bits and pieces of life before. Usually they're triggered by something."

"Hmm. That's strange. "

"No shit. "

"You really need to do something about that mouth of yours."

"What's wrong with my mouth? " I said.

He just sighed.

--about 21 minutes later--

"Saskue, I'm at point B. "

"Sakura, I'm at point C. "

"Naruto, I'm at point A. Believe it!"

"Ketei, down here.... This is absolutely fucking ridiculous. "

"You're too slow naruto. " Kakashi said.

After they had captured the cat and gave it to the cat lady, the hokage was trying to give us a mission.

When I say trying I mean because naruto wouldn't shut up about wanting better, more dangerous missions.

"I'm all for it stupid. Whatever floats your boat." I said lazily sitting upside down on the hokage's desk.

Then the hokage gave into naruto's babbling and handed us a c ranked mission as bodyguards.

"Wait what?" I said.

Apparently, this meant the team was going on a adventure without me.

This mission was not in the village and I'm stuck here.

Only way I can get out is if I possess someone.

Ugh. This is just ugh.

Ugh has become the official word of the day. Nope, word of my non existent life.

"Naruto, what? Why! Don't go on this mission!" I shouted.

He looked at me and mouthed sorry.

"No don't say sorry! How is, what is-ugh!!! I can't even say complete sentences anymore! Oh look I just did! I'm cured!"

Naruto snickered a bit and Kakashi looked at him suspiciously.

Oh yeah. I'm supposed to let naruto listen to important conversations.

Nope. Not when my social life is on the line.

Then the dude that they're supposed to protect, tazuna came in.

I looked at him and immediately knew what type of person he was.

Alcoholic.

His clothes are nasty, his breath smells of sake, and he looks a little, uhh, not here.

I can't let this happen.

"Naruto, there is no way in hell I'm letting you go on a mission with a drunk!"

He looked at me strangely and turned his attention back to the hokage.

Then tazuna started insulting him.

Okay, now.

I snuck into the anger management classes and memorized the rules. I know you shouldn't freak out about people like him. I know I should brush it off and walk away but ...

This was it.

I'm sick of people being mean to my best friend and pushing him down.

And I'm sick of me not being able to do anything about it but watch and commet.

And I'm sick and tired of being so sick and tired.

So when naruto and the others walked out of the room I might've done a bad thing.

Did do a bad thing.

I possessed a drunk.

Oops.
