After a while of waiting at the house outside (in a tree of course) I saw naruto and duckbutt in the distance coming back from a hard day of training.

They both were struggling to walk to the door and were holding each other up.

Hmm. That's funny.

They usually don't even wanna be in the same room together but now they're suddenly all buddy buddy?

Something happened while I was gone.

I ran over to the two of them and tried helping them up.

Tried.

After who knows how long of not having real muscles it's really werid watching them come back.

"Thank you Ketei-chan, for the advice! It really helped! " naruto said.

I messed his hair up and smiled.

"I'm glad. " I said, then turned to saskue.

"Did you by any chance, benefit from my awesomeness? " I asked, pulling out strands of his hair.

"I guess so. " he said monotonous.

I punched him in the face.

"Why can't people ever give a straight yes or no answer! It's absolutely annoying! " I said.

"Okay then. Yes. " he said, rubbing his cheek.

I did a jumping jack then bowed.

"You know, you're just like your brother. " I said and started walking back to the house.

I noticed saskue's eyes bug out and his breathing constrict.

"D-Did you say my brother? " he said quietly.

I nodded my head.

"Uh yeah. Tall. Duck ass hair like yours. Annoyingly emo. " I said.

"You've met him? " he asked.

"Yeah. What, did he -"

"KETEI! " I heard someone yell from the house and saw a puff of yellow smoke come from the house.

They must've found those skunk bombs I made last night...

I growled.

"Why the fuck are you yelling my fucking name for the whole fucking world to hear! Shut the hell up!" I screamed back.

I looked at naruto and saw he had jumped up into saskue's arms and was trembling.

"S-she's scary... " naruto said and saskue just quietly nodded in agreement.

I cracked my knuckles and grinned.

"Now, if you two ever mess with my evil plans for world domination like they just did... "

I took naruto out of saskue's arms and dropped him down on the ground.

"Your life will end. I will not lose to the bunnies! You're either with me or against me! " I screamed.

Saskue looked to naruto.

"Is she always like this? " he asked, eyebrows up.

"Usually. Sometimes she's even worse... " naruto said, shivering.

- 21 minutes later -

"Ketei, can you pass the leeks? " tsunami or my newly appointed nickname for her, smiley, asked.

I passed them to her.

I stared at the food in front of me and my mouth watered. I still can't eat food though.

I tried real hard to eat the food in front of me but it just went through me and plopped back down on my plate.

It's really pissing me off.

I looked to the person in front of me, a little boy named inari who's smiley's son.

I nicknamed him frowny since it seems that's his only facial expression.

Frowny kept looking back an forth from his plate to a photoframe on the wall.

He noticed me watching him and stopped quickly and frowned even deeper.

Okay, then Mr.I-look-like-I'm-constipatated. It's not like I'm your problem.

"Naruto, you shouldn't eat that much! You too, saskue! You're gonna throw up if you keep chowing it down! " sakura said.

They just kept cramming food down their throats like they hadn't heard a thing she had said.

I cleared my throat loudly and everyone looked at me.

"You know, wasting food right in front of a person who would eat a village if she could right now isn't a good idea. In fact, it's extremely stupid. " I said all cranky.

They looked at me for a second like they were considering stopping for my sake but then I saw duck but slowly take another bite.

Then their little competition was back on.

"You guys are pigs. " sakura said and took a bite out of her food.

I wanted to die right now.

Like die, die. No ghost stuff.

I'm just so fucking hungry!

I dug my fingers into my scalp, which would've probably made blood come out if I wasn't partly deceased.

Wait, doesn't this technically mean I'm a zombie?

Great.

I banged my head against the floor.

Keep it together, Ketei.

Tsunami looked at me.

"Are you okay, Ketei? You look sick. " she said.

"I'm not sick but I wouldn't go far as to say I'm okay either. " I said.

"Why don't you tell us more about yourself? " sakura offered.

"It might help. " naruto said, cheeks stuffed full of food.

I sighed.

"What do you wanna know? " I asked.

Sakura grinned.

"Is there any boys you like? " she asked curiously.

I thought about this.

I'd only ever talked to one guy and that's naruto, but well, I don't know about him...

I suddenly remembered Itachi.

"That's my girl... "

I grabbed my head.

Get out of my mind, you beautiful idiot!

I sighed.

The struggle is real.

"Nope. " I said.

"Oh, come on. We know you're lying Ketei. " tsunami said.

They leaned in closer.

"Tell us.... " the both said darkly.

I backed away some.

"Uh, Uh, Uh... I like.... "

Think of a random person Ketei!

"Kiba! I like Kiba! " I shouted.

Everyone stopped what they were doing.

"Hold the phone! " sakura shouted.

"Shut the front door! " tsunami yelled.

"Kiba?!? " they all yelled.

"I was hoping you'd say naruto.... " sakura pouted.

"I was hoping you'd say saskue... " Kakashi said.

"I was hoping you'd say me too... " saskue said.

Sakura shrieked.

"I was hoping you'd say Ichigo! " naruto yelled.

Everyone stopped talking.

"Oops. Wrong story... " naruto said quietly.

Meanwhile.... I'm still over trying to process the chaos in front of me into something I can understand.

I slammed my hands on the table.

"I think that's enough getting to know Ketei time. " I said.

Everyone blushed and went back to eating.

Sakura then looked over at one of the photos in the house on the wall and frowned.

"Umm, excuse me? This picture is torn. Is there some reason for that? And Inari, you've been looking at it the whole time now. Also, it looks like somebody else was in the picture but they've been torn out. " sakura said.

There was a small silence.

"Well, isn't this awkward... " I said and everyone except inari laughed a little.

"That's my husband's spot in the photo. The part that's been torn out. " smiley said, not smiling.

I wonder why her husband's been torn out of the nice little family photo.

I leaned forward.

This is intresting...

Grumpy drunk sighed.

"They used to call him a great hero, here. " he said.

Inari suddenly jumped up from his seat.

I noticed his fists were clenched, in either pain or anger. Maybe even both.

"None of you understand anything! " he yelled.

"You're all idiots, just idiots... " he said and ran upstairs.

Tsunami sighed and glared at tazuna.

"What did I say about bringing him up in front of inari! " she shouted and stood up from the table and stomped off to the kitchen.

I wonder what happened to this mystery man. From the vibes I'm gettin, he's probably dead and frowny hasn't gotten over everything yet.

I'll take this as my cue to go.

I stood up and mock saluted everyone.

"It appears everyone's ditching the table tonight. Peace out, mothafuckers. " I said and placed my plate in front of naruto and made my way upstairs.

I can't sleep so...

I wonder where I'll hang out.

How about the roof! I thought.

I jumped up through the ceiling and landed on the roof.

I admired the night sky and sat down.

I was about to close my eyes and have some good relaxing time until I heard sobs.

I sat up.

"Who's crying? " I said, not happy at all.

"Me. " I heard Frowny say and I finally noticed him sitting up on the roof too.

I scooted over to him.

"So, tell me what's wrong. " I said.

"Why do you wanna know? Like it'd help me any. " he said.

"I'm not trying to help you. I just remembered that when people say what they're feeling to someone it usually helps them stop crying. Crying is annoying. I'm trying to relax up here so say your sob story already and then get your ass off the roof. " I said.

He frowned then smiled somewhat.

"I miss him. I miss him so much. It wasn't his fault. He died standing up for the right thing. " he said.

"An honorable death. So, why are you still being pouty?" I asked.

"Because he died and.... " inari trailed off.

"And?" I said.

"I want to avenge his death. He may have not have been my real father but he was the closest thing I had to one. And they took him away from me! I don't care if I'm young, I will kill his killers! " inari screamed.

I sat up and looked him in the eyes.

Then I bitchslapped him so hard I might've made the tooth fairy go broke tonight.

"You are definitely the most idiotic person I've ever met. " I said.

He just stared at me, still in shock.

"You know, I'm dead if you've heard. And the one thing I would come back from the grave to haunt someone for, would be if they tried to avenge my death. I'm the one who died. It's a personal offense in my opinion. I'd rather avenge my own death. And I know for a fact, I would try to die again if I found out a pipspeak like you had tried to avenge me. How do you think he feels? He's brave, right? Would he want a little boy fighting his battles for him when he clearly can do it himself? Avengement is a disgrace to any dead person's memory. Mourn him. Don't taint him. " I said truthfully.

He started to cry.

"Don't -" I said.

Then he full on hugged me.

He sobbed wet tears onto my shoulder and hugged even tighter.

"You understand. " he said. "You understand even better than me. I'm so sorry! " he screamed.

I was still shocked that someone was hugging me. It feels so strange, to be hugged like this.

I slowly hugged back.

"There, there... " I said neverously and patted him on the back.

I just relized something.

I don't wanna be alone.

And I don't wanna be forgotten.

I'd like to have friends.

I'd like to believe in love.

And I'd like to know more about me.

Self realisation.

"I wish I could say something nice to comfort you, frowny, but I'm not very experienced in these situations. " I said and pulled away.

"It's okay, Ketei. " he said.

He stared up at the sky and grinned.

"Did you see it? " he asked curiously.

"See what? " I said.

He pointed to the stars.

"Something more. " he said.

I gripped the edge of my skirt.

"Nope. I never got that far, I suppose. " I said with my head down.

"He probably made it though. If he's a good man like you said." I said.

"Why did you stay and why did he have to leave? " inari asked me.

"He went because he had to go. I stayed because I was forced to. " I said truthfully.

He looked to me and grinned.

" I'm glad you stayed, Ketei-chan. " he said quietly.

If I had tear ducts I would've been sobbing uncontrollably all over the place like a crazy woman.

I quickly shook that feeling off though.

I hit inari on the shoulder.

"Didn't I say that after our little sob session, I'm kicking you off the roof? " I said.

He nodded yes hesitantly.

I stood up and started kicking him repeatedly.

"Alright then! I have claimed this territory as my own. Get your ass off. " I said.

He stood up and climbed down the roof.

"You're really awesome Ketei!" inari shouted when he reached the bottom of the house.

I smiled.

Then I laid down, closed my eyes, and relaxed.

Hmm....
