I literally got a call in middle of Robin opening presents at her baby shower from Nathan. He wants me to meet him at the diner. Just so you guys know, she's having a girl. I'm going to be a Godfather. I'm glad I live not too far from the diner. I walk in and see Nathan sitting at the table with someone. Looks like a woman. "Randy I'll like to introduce you to Chanelle. Your Aunt." I stand infront of the table scanning this lady. She looks like Grandma Anne. "This is him? I definitely see Jared. AHHHHHH!!! He's real! I thought you were lying to me over the phone. I literally got on a plane after hearing that. Well not immediately. Like 5 hours later. Anyways nice to meet you." This lady talks really fast. "Chanelle I think you're scaring him, he gets startled really easily." I just sit down and take in the new information of me having an aunt. Every day of my life something new always happens. "So what was it that you wanted to tell me Nathan?" "Oh it's about Jared. Well he didn't know about him having a son until afew months ago and since then he didn't even come to see him." She just stands up and slams her hand on the table. "That Bas- I don't wanna waste my energy on him. Why not come see him. Jared likes living life like he on vacation. Jared is dumb and when I go back I'm going to punch him in the face. I still don't approve of the marriage. I really don't." She pauses "Being the oldest and a sister, I just wanna look out for you guys. A-and I just want him to make good choices." I decide to go hug her before she breaks down. "Chanelle, in his eyes, he is making a good choice. You have to show him what actually the good choice. I know you could." Nathan comes in to join the hug. We stay like this afew moments again before we decide to pull away. "You know what and I just remembered this! Minnie. I met her like 4 years back and she didn't mention you. How did you know Nathan." She looks towards Nathan very confused. "I always knew. I never told you guys. I was only six when I found out. For years I wasn't sure. I couldn't tell Mom and Dad. You know how they are. They would've told me I was delusional. You already moved out that time. When we moved back here, I thought about it and I saw them. I saw him and Minnie. Then I was sitting in this same exact seat when he came in." Chanelle looks at Nathan for afew seconds until opening her mouth again. "He should of came around by now. I know I've distanced myself from our family but.. sometimes I don't feel involved." It's just silent for Abit. I feel sorry for Auntie. I wonder what makes them not wanting to be around Grandpa and Grandma? "Don't take him to Anne and Kevin's." "Too late I already did." "I'm sure they want him as a do over. They didn't want me in the first place then they said I was no good, then they get the perfect Baby Jared and then they didn't want you. They've always said that. They'll want a do over with you Randy. They're no good. Could imagine if Olivia got Pregnant. Olivia the girl THEY want for him." I'm guessing Olivia is my stepmom's name. "Ugh. I couldn't." Her and Nathan have a laugh as I smile at interaction. " Anyways, I'm not stepping back into that house. I'm dreading the feeling of being back there. You're twenty- three and still there?" Nathan chuckles. " I know. I just can't move out. When I finished school I just moved back here with them because something told me to." Chanelle smiles and takes a sip of her coffee. "... I think I might go. Slight chance. Mostly because I'm going to make sure Randy meets his father and I know he'll listen to Anne. Once she calls him he'll be here in an instant. I'm surprised she didn't call him by now..." "Idk."
