Nobody knows how or why the child comes to be... Nobody knows. All they know is that, eight years after it's first appearance, the child goes off on a journey in the Kantonian forests and returns two years later a changed man.... He goes on and on to travel all region and win all the leagues with the help of his Pokémon Articuno.... At least that is his goal... Now it is time....

Articuno and I bounded through the woods of Unova, very happy and chill.

"I'm very looking forward to this region," I said in my manly voice. I had just turned thirteen a few months ago--- I wore the shiny new Team Mystic coat my awesome mom Blanche has given for my birthday. ((Somehow I was biologically related to her, even though I had no other parent and had hatched from an egg. Spark had come to the conclusion that Blanche can asexually reproduce)).

"So am I." Replied Articuno, in PokeSpeech because I can speak to Pokemon. "We are totally going to win the league like we won all the others."

Yes, I, Atheno, the manliest trainer on the entire PokeEarth, had become champion of four leagues in just a very small amount of time--- five years (four technically because i spent one year learning how to harness my awesome abilities of wisdom and power from the Kantonian forests) ((I can also talk to trees)). 

"I'm sure I will," I said, not arrogantly at all. "But, of course, I'll give up the title to whatever simpleton came before me, because I'm humble like that."

Articuno looked like they wanted to say something about how humble I was, but decided against it for reasons unknown. "Okay," they said instead ((hey that rhymed! am I wise or what?)). "So... where is this city we are supposed to be going to?"

We were supposed to be going to Nuvema Town, so I could get an Oshawatt to train and challenge the league. (It got boring after a while, travelling with the same team, so I decided to get a new blue starter in every region I go to) ((blue is my theme color btw)) ((((very manly))))

"Nuvema Town!" I said to Articuno. "I thought you were supposed to be smart!"

Articuno muttered something that sounded suspiciously like "I thought that too, about you."

"What did you say?" I thundered in my manly handsome voice.

"You are smarter than me!" Articuno squeaked. (I was so awesome I could make legendary pokemon squeal)

"Good." I replied, smiling. It was always nice to know I was appreciated.  "Alright, Articuno, let's walk to Nuvema Town!"

Articuno looked unimpressed. "How about I fly you there instead?"

"Good! Alright Articuno, let's fly to Nuvema Town, which was totally my idea, because you wanted to walk for some stupid reason!

I boarded my Pokemon and we took off. It's really nice being me.
