Ariel hops from rock to rock, her bruised and still bleeding ankle throbbing in pain.

"Damn my leg!"
She cries as her ankle is caught between her other foot and a rock causing her to fall on her stomach.

Lea, her best friend, hears her cries of distress and rushes to her rescue.
"Oh my gods!"
She cries noticing the sorry state of her friend.

"Where did you leave your brain this morning, woman?!"

"What--"
Ariel winced as she attempts to get up, but the pain on her leg is too terrible she lets herself back down.
"What do you mean?"
She finishes.

Lea shakes her head.
"You're just not being very smart today are you?"
She says sarcastically.

Ariel rolls her eyes and tries to get up again. Lea puts her hands on Ariel's shoulders and gently pushes her back to the ground.

"We aren't moving on 'til I fix your leg."
She says sternly.

She rips off a piece of her sleeve, grabs two twigs. She places the twigs on either side of Ariel's leg and bandages it.

"I win, again."
Lea chuckles.
"So how'd you manage this one?"

Ariel gives her a 'seriously' look.
"I tripped, surprise."

"Nawh,"
Lea replies.
"I mean what were you doing, smart ass."

Ariel rolls her eyes again.
"I was on a mission with Tony, and tripped over a gun. He never got the chance to fix it before I was sent here."
She explains.

"A gun? Seriously..... well that's a new one."
Lea shrugs.
"Eh well, at least you didn't kill yourself."

Ariel nods.
"True,"

"Aaaaaand done."
Lea says once she's finished binding Ariel's leg.
"Alright, movin' on."

"Good,"
Says Ariel offering lea her hands she helps her up. Lea pulls her up.

Ariel wobbles a bit. She catches her balance.

"We need to move quickly, so the thing.... doesn't catch us."
She says shuddering.

"Thing?"
Lea asks.
"I believe thing isn't a very good description."
She says.

"Really?"
Ariel says.
"You haven't seen it yet? Big, black, made of rock..."
She puts her arms up and bent them, she begins to hobble around, trying to act like the 'thing'.

Lea laughs.
"So what is it? My grandma?"
She teases.

Ariel laughs, her head thrown back.
"No, 'cause Caedy would be here too, after all they are dating."
She jokes.

"You remembered!"
Lea chuckles.

Ariel grins, in a much better mods than moments ago.
"Of course I did! How could I forget?"

After that question, a load roar is heard, echoing and bouncy of the rocks. A shadow is seen, it appears to be bearlike. It approaches the teenagers slowly.

"Uh... What was that?"
Lea panics.

Another roar is heard.

"NOT YOUR GRANDMA! MOVE MOVE!"
Ariel yells.

The two take off, Ariel wincing with every painful step as her feet pad against the ground. The roars grow louder. Lea grabs a hold of Ariel's side to steady her. Ariel groans as another load roar explodes through the air, louder than one thousand firecrackers. Her eyes scan frantically for shelter. She spots a nearby cave.

"THERE!"
She points.

"Ok! Go!"
Lea says, as she pulls Ariel into the cave.

The two flop down. Ariel curls herself into a ball in the back of the cave. She stares at the opening of the cave.

"Is... d'you think its gone?"
She pants.

"I-i don't know."
Lea says.

Ariel stays quiet for a moment, her yes scan the cave. She takes in her surroundings, when she realizes the cave isn't actually a cave..... it's an entrance!

"Where do you think it leads?"
