NO ONES POV
When Dan made it back to the White Lion, he saw Mufasa and his friends and Simba coming this way.
"Dan" Mufasa says "that was incredible. I've never seen anything like it"
"That was awesome. I wish I could do that" Simba says.
"Way to go Dan" Ron says and high-fives him.
"I will admit that was impressive, but what you did was dangerous you could've gotten yourself killed" Mufasa says.
"With all due respect, Mufasa" Dan says "I do dangerous stuff like this all the time and I will do what I need to do to protect the innocent" he then points to the cub "and this cub was the innocent" Dan then breaks the gate on the cage "you can come out now"
But the lion cub doesn't move.
"He's still scared" CJ says.
"Let me try" Mufasa says "hello" the cub looks at him "you can come out, these are friends and they will not hurt you" he then slowly comes out. "Can you tell me how you got here?" he asked.
But the young white lion shook his head no, seeming to have forgotten.
"Where are your parents?" Mufasa then asked the white lion cub, having a feeling that he was lost.
The white lion cub knew that question easier, but looked sad as he spoke...
"My parents are gone... My father was killed by humans while trying to save my mother. And my mother perished at sea on the boat which I escaped from... but then I got captured again and was brought here and was going to be sold for what the humans called it a Zoo for New York" he replied, beginning to sniffle a little.
"Oh... we're so sorry.." The kids said, feeling sorry for the poor white lion cub.
"Is there anything else you can remember?" Mufasa asked the white lion cub.
"My mother told me I had to find my way back home and take my father's rightfully place as Jungle Emperor" the white lion explained.
This left the kids interested while Mufasa started to ponder on all of this, knowing this sounded very familiar as he tried to put the pieces to the puzzle together.
"Well, I think you look pretty cool" Simba told the white lion, having made a new friend. "What's your name?"
"Kimba..." the white cub smiled to the golden cub.
This just made the kids confused that Kimba's name was almost exactly the same as Simba's.
"This is going to be confusing" CJ thought.
"Hmm" Mufasa kept pondering all on what Kimba had just told him. Even his name sounded familiar.
"Mufasa?..." Dan turned, noticing the lion king's odd expression.
"Pardon me, Kimba" Mufasa came up to the white lion cub, asking. "But who is your father?"
"Panja. But some call him Caesar. The Jungle Emperor" Kimba replied, before frowning thinking of his dad.
"Or was..."
Mufasa's eyes soon widened in shock, realizing this was indeed the white lion jungle emperor Panja who had mysteriously disappeared before all the lion prides could make peace with each other.
And this was indeed his son, the future Jungle Emperor, Kimba.
Simba and the others were all very curious of Kimba, never seeing a white lion before.
"So, your dad was killed by humans?" Simba questioned the white lion. Kimba nodded sadly in reply.
Mufasa sighed heavily, knowing a bad a threat humans have been to the Pridelands in the past.
Even mentioning how a friend of his from another lion pride, Zuba, lost his son Alakay to poachers.
"Alakay?" Verago found that name strange.
The only other lion they knew was Alex who lived at a zoo in New York Central Park and not too much is known about his past, only that they found him abandoned in a crate as a cub in the New York harbor.
"I can assure you Kimba that we are not bad humans like those ones that killed your father" Cali knelt down in front of the white lion cub.
"Yeah, we won't hurt you. Promise" CJ added.
CJ started to reach her hand out to pet Kimba but the white lion backed up slightly, being a bit hesitant. But soon he looked into CJ eyes and could just tell by that she didn't want to hurt him. He slowly placed his head up, touching the girls hand and allowing her to pet him. He actually seemed quite enjoyed by the girl's touch.
Cali came up to Kimba, looking at him. "Hmm, I wonder why anyone would want to hurt such a beautiful animal like you"
"This sounds variably familiar" CJ muttered.
Mufasa chuckled to the human kids. "I think it's time I tell you children the rest of the story about how another creature sometimes forgets how everything's connected in the great circle of life"
"Us?" the younger adventure kids asked a bit embarrassed, knowing that if it ever involved humans it wouldn't end well.
Mufasa chuckled in reply. "That's right"
"What happened Dad?" Simba asked curiously, also wanting to know.
"Well you see," Mufasa began explaining. "For a very long time, back to the days of our ancestors, human numbers were small and they lived in harmony..."
"With the great circle of life!" Dan and Verago exclaimed joyfully.
"That's right" Mufasa chuckled, smiling to the kids before he continued. "The point is, they only took what they needed from nature to survive"
"Hmm, that seems simple enough" Ron thought.
"I bet it didn't stay simple for long" Dan said.
"Indeed, Dan" Mufasa turned to the teenage boy. "You see over time, more and more people lived on the land. They needed more food, space,"
"And amusements parks!" Ron bursted into excitement.
"Sounds pretty fun" Simba had to agreed with Ron.
"Yes, but to get all of that they needed more power" Cali mentioned.
"Sounds like a good idea to me" CJ said, not really paying attention to the importance about the lesson.
"But children, it's not just about having more and more of everything" Mufasa told them. "The good life can come at a price"
The adventure kids all gave odd looks to the great lion king.
"What do you mean, Dad?" Simba asked, confused.
"Yes, your majesty" Kimba added. "What do you mean?"
Mufasa began taking the group somewhere while he continued explaining. "You see, children? The way some humans made their lives better had consequences they never expected. Our land... the water... the air... everything... got polluted..."
The gang soon arrived at a place far, almost near the edge of the Pridelands where the tress were all cut don't and the ground was all black with ashes like there'd been a fire here.
The human kids and lion cubs were shocked, looking on at the destroyed piece of land.
"Because of humans own blindness and selfish actions, this is what can happen when we forget just how important the circle of life is to us all" Mufasa told the gang.
This made the kids really ashamed, even though it wasn't their fault for hurting the circle of life.
Humans can be heartless monsters.
"But Dad, why do humans do this?" Simba looked up to his father, still not quite understanding. Kimba wanted to know too as he was thinking.
Mufasa sighed to his son. "Sometimes, even humans don't seem to understand what they can do to improve their own lives can hurt others around them"
This made the kids really bad now, they never thought of it that way. They still wanted to fix this somehow.
"Mufasa," Cali started at the lion king. "We are going to make this up to you and your kingdom"
"That's right!" Dan stated. "We'll find a way to restore the Pridelands"
"And stop all illegal hunting and trash wasting" Ron stated.
"And remind everyone just how important the circle of life is to us all" Dan added.
"Yeah, whatever" CJ mumbled, seeming to have no choice as she was forced on board with this.
The great lion king smiled to the adventure kids, before he spoke to them again. "Sometimes what's left behind can grow better than the generation before"
Mufasa then placed his paw down in front of him, wiping away the ashes which revealed a little growing flower.
"Whoa..." the kids and cubs came up to get a closer look to see that the flower was indeed healthy and growing, despite its living conditions.
"If given the chance..." Mufasa told the kids and cubs.
The kids took those words Mufasa just told them and would hold onto them.
And so did Simba and Kimba and Verago.
Mufasa then turned to Kimba. "The same can be said for your pride, Kimba" he told the white lion cub.
Since Kimba's species had nearly gone extinct because of humans.
"You really think so, your Majesty?" Kimba asked the lion king.
"I know so!" Simba answered for his dad, coming over to Kimba. "You and I are both going to be great kings one day" Simba told the white lion, offering him his paw. "So what do you say... Friends?"
Kimba thought for a moment before he soon smiled and offered his paw to Simba, showing they were officially friends now.
"Friends" Kimba nodded to Simba.
The kids smiled at the two future lion kings.
They then went back to Pride Rock.
