The baboon then spoke, coming up to the lion king's side as he laughed.

"It has been a long time. This could be interesting" he was seeming to mention the kids.

"This is Rafiki" the lion introduced to them. "He's the Royal Mjuzi"

Rafiki came up closer to them and held out his hand. Cali reached her hand out slowly and took the baboon's, as he seemed to know what a handshake was.

Rafiki then laughed again, telling them. "Ah, humans in the Pridelands. Yes, this is a special day"

"Hmm" The lion started to think for a moment what to do with these strange visitors.

But then the animals started whispering conversations going on between the rest of the animals thinking the lion king would be crazy to let these humans stay here with them in the Pridelands.

"Come with me," the lion offered to them, welcoming them into his cave. "You all must be exhausted from your long journey"

The kids looked to each other still a little unsure, wondering if they could trust this lion... They soon started following him into his den.

"Thank you, uh..." they said to the lion, but didn't know his name.

"We don't know your name" Dan says.

"Mufasa" the lion replied in his deep yet gentle voice, turning back to them. "My name is Mufasa"

"Ooh! He sounds like a God" CJ whispered to the others, being impressed by Mufasa's voice.

"I'm Dan, the leader of this group and the gecko on my shoulder is named Verago and this is Cali, CJ, and Ron" Dan says.

"Nice to meet you all" Mufasa says.

After introducing themselves, the kids began following Mufasa up the rock, which was known as Pride Rock and into his cave where they saw a tan colored lioness lying down as they entered the cave.

She also appeared to have a little yellow ball of fluff wrapped in her paws, which turned out to be the lion cub the they saw the baboon holding earlier.

"Children, this is my mate and queen, Sarabi" Mufasa introduced the kids to the tan female lion.

"Well, hello there" Sarabi greeted the kids with kind warm smile. "Nice to meet you all"

The kids smiled to the lioness, then glanced over and noticed the little baby lion being held in its mother's paws.

"Is that your cub?" Ron asked with a smile.

"Yes" Sarabi replied with a proud smile. "This is our son, Simba"

"He will be the next king when the time comes" Mufasa explained.

"Wow" they said as they looked closer at him.

"He's so cute" CJ says "I could squeeze his little face" talking in baby talk over the Simba.

They were surprised she was talking like this.

"I think he'll make a fine king" Verago said about Simba.

Baby Simba then turned his head and looked up to the human strangers curiously, making the kids all smile down at him.

The little cub tried to stand up and walk, wanting to get a closer look at the humans but could hardly stand so Sarabi kept Simba close to her.

A blue hornbill then flew in and up to Mufasa. "Sire, might I ask who are they?" he asked the lion king while noticing the 4 humans and gecko 🦎.

"Ah, Zazu, these are our honorary guests" Mufasa informed the hornbill, then introduced the kids to him. "Kids, this is Zazu, my majordomo"

"Hi! Nice to meet you" They all said and waved to Zazu.

"Hmm" the blue hornbill looked a little unsure at the human kids, questioning Mufasa. "Sire, are you sure it's a good idea to have humans stay in the Pridelands?" He flies to Mufasa's shoulder "Don't you remember what happened last time?" he then whispered to the lion king.

"They seem harmless" Mufasa told his second in command confidently. "I trust them, Zazu" he then looks at them.

"I must ask though..." Sarabi then spoke up, turning to them . "How on earth did you young ones stray so far from home?"

"We were on a tour guide and we got bored so we snuck away and in the process we got lost and then we saw all the animals heading in this direction so we followed them and that's how we got here" Dan says.

"I see" Sarabi says "then if my mate Mufasa trust you then so do I and no harm will come to you"

"Thank you" they bow to show their respect "your highness"

She smiles and looks at Mufasa "I like them" and he smiles.

"Well, you're welcome to stay here as long as you need" Mufasa told the kids.

"And as I said We promise you'll be safe. No one will hurt you here" Sarabi assured the kids. "Besides, I'm sure Simba would enjoy some playmates"

"Thank you, your Majesties" Ron and Dan thanked Mufasa and Sarabi with a bow.

"Just steer clear of my brother" Mufasa warned the kids.

"You have a brother?" Cali asked the lion king.

"Yes" Mufasa nodded. "And I know he's around here somewhere" he looks at Zazu "Zazu find out where he is and report back to me"

"Yes, sire" Zazu says and flies away

"If you'll excuse me" Mufasa then left his mate and the adventure squad to go find his brother.
