"We should go." you look at the portal. "No risk, no reward."

"Great!" Kimberly exclaimed, "Jason, you don't have to go if you don't want to."

Jason glanced nervously at the portal. "I'll come. What good would it be if I stayed here without you two?"

Kimberly ran into the portal. You walked in behind her. Jason went in last. After he walked in, the red portal closed behind him.

"Well, there's no going back. now." Jason mumbles.

Kimberly stares at the new place. The ground is a dark gray and the sky is black. A white moon shines above, allowing you to see. Some dark red clouds cover part of the sky.

You turn to see what Jason is looking at. You are startled to see a pale - skinned boy with red eyes and black hair. He looks just as startled as you feel.

"Wh...wh...who are y...you?" Jason asked. Kimberly turned around when she heard Jason's voice.

The boy clears his throat and says, "I am Gloom." he pauses to add, "Who are you?"
