A little while later the mayor was in town in a wheelchair with guards walking with him.

And he was Admiring how miserable everybody was until he realized that children were playing with toys and he was going to have them arrested when Kris showed up and stop them.

"Don't arrest those children" Kris says "it was my fault"

"Actually it was our fault" Dan says "we helped give them the toys"

"Y'all? How dare you?" The mayor says "you are obviously a non-conformist and rebels"

"Us? Rebels?" Cali asks.

"Cool" DR says.

"Arrest this man and his followers immediately" the mayor says.

Kris then opened his bag and took out a yo-yo 🪀 and handed it to him.

"A yo-yo 🪀?" He takes it "I love yo-yos 🪀. I used to do all kinds of tricks" he then starts playing with it.

"Excuse me, sir, but your breaking your own law" the guard says.

He then snapped out of it and told them to arrest Kris and those kids.

They then ran right through them.

As they ran they saw Kris climb like a squirrel 🐿, and leap like a deer 🦌, and was slippery as a seal.

Meanwhile Dan and the others were right behind Kris when he landed in front of the gate and they ran out of the town.

The guards did follow them until they lost them in the woods.

When they were far enough they stopped and took a breath.

"Where are we?" CJ asks.

"Over here" Topper says, but to Kris all he heard was honking.

They then saw a sign.

"You are trespassing of the land of the winter warlock" Kris says.

Just then they heard roaring and trees grab them and they tried to get away, but no luck.

Just then there was a flash and a man showed up and he was not happy.

"Kris Kringle" winter warlock says "you've disturbed me for the very last time and I see you got some company too and now I have you and you'll never get away" he laughs evilly.

"What are we going to do?" Junior asks "what would mom do? I wish she was here?"

Meanwhile somewhere else the other group was deciding on what to do.

"I'm telling you were lost" Cynthia says

"We're fine" Brock says.

Kali then felt something and puts her hand on her heart.

"Something wrong Kali?" Teeder asks.

"I don't know, but I feel like someone I know is in trouble all of sudden" Kali says.

"But we're all right here and we're fine" Ann says.

"I know, it's just weird" just then they heard roaring coming from a distance "what was that?" Kali asks.

They then follow it.

"Can we not go this way" Cynthia asks. But they shush her and keep going.

That's when they saw it.

"It's Dan and Junior" Brock says "and some other kids"

"We haven't seen them since Equestria with the storm king" Teeder says.

"We should help them" David says.

"He not doing anything yet" Kali says "let's wait and see"

They then watch. But just then other trees grab them and brought them over to them.

"Oh an ambush huh" winter warlock says "and now your other friends won't get away either"

"Kali?" They all said.

"What are you doing here?" Junior asks "you could get hurt"

"We could ask you the same thing" Kali says.

"If you hurt her, you'll regret it" Junior says to the winter warlock.

"You still sound overly protective over Kali" Cynthia says.

"Well, of course" Junior says "she's my mother" he gasps at what he said and they gasps over this except for Kali and Brock "oops"

"Way to go Junior" Dan says "now everybody knows"

"Sorry" Junior says.

"Any last words?" Winter warlock says.

"Look, uh, before you do us in, would you tell your tree friends to let me loose for a second? You see, I.....I have something for you" Kris says.

"What is this? A trick?" Winter warlock says.

"Oh, no, sir, Mr. Warlock" Kris says "or may I call you Winter?"

"Mr. Warlock, if you please" winter warlock says.

"Oh. Well, I managed to save one little toy. And we want you have it" Kris says.

"You...you wish to give me a present?" He chuckles "a toy?"

"Yes, sir" Dan says "he sure will"

"But nobody ever gives mean old Warlock a toy" winter warlock says.

"We'd like to start a new custom" Kris says "if you just call off"

"Wha.......wha.....oh, oh, yeah, what" winter warlock says and chuckles again "oh. Yes, of course. But you mustn't mind the tree monsters. Their bark is worse than their bite" he then told them to release the Kringle and they did, but held the others "now, no tricks now"

"No of course Mr. Warlock" Kris says and and opens the bag and pulls out a toy train.

The winter warlock loved it that his icy heart was melting and he began to turn and look like a normal old man and he released the others as well.

"My icy heart is melting" winter says.

"Is that a bad thing?" Cali asks.

"Well, look, Mr. warlock..." Kris says.

"Please, please, call me winter" winter says.

"Winter?" They all said.

"Oh, yes, yes. Suddenly my whole outlook has changed from bad to good" winter says.

"Great" Kris says.

"Ah. But will it last?" He puts the train away in his robe "I really am a mean and despicable creature at heat, you know?" Winter says "it's so difficult to really change"

"No it's not" Dan says "a friend of mine was bad and he's good now after showing him kindness"

"And it being difficult" Kris laughs "why, why, look here, changing from bad to good is easy as taking your first step"

He then breaks into song to show him and so do they.
