"Theives! Fire! Murder!"
The company turned wildly, looking for the source of the yelling. A blur shot towards them from the bushes, and slowed down until Alenia could see the small man dressed in brown robes. He jumped off his wooden sleigh, patting one of his rabbits on the head.
"Radagast! Radagast the Brown. Ah. What on earth are you doing here?" Gandalf said, lowering his sword. The rest of the company copies him, lowering their weapons.
"I was looking for you, Gandalf. Something's wrong. Something's terribly wrong." Radagast said.
"Yes?" Gandalf pressed.
Radagast started to speak, but closed his mouth. He lifted a finger, as if a thought occurred to him, before shutting his mouth again. "Oh, just give me a minute. Um, oh, I had a thought, and now I've lost it. It was, it was right there, on the tip of my tongue."
He stuck his tongue out, and frowned. "Oh, it's not a thought at all; it's a silly old..."
Gandalf pulled a stick insect out of his mouth.
"-stick insect!" The brown wizard finished.
The dwarves and Bilbo shifted uncomfortably, while Alenia held back a gag.
The two wizards walked a few paces away to speak in private.
"Go talk to her." Fili muttered, shoving his brother forward, as the dwarves began to talk amongst themselves.
Alenia turned to see Kili suddenly standing next to her. He glanced down, and lifted her wrist to examine her bracelet. "This is excellent craftsmanship."
Alenia smiled brightly, thinking about Estel. "My friend, Estel, made it for me."
Kili opened his mouth to ask her about this 'Estel', but was interrupted by a howl in the woods. Gandalf and Radagast rejoined the group.
"Was that a wolf? Are there--are there wolves out there?" Bilbo asked, looking around the woods.
"Wolves? No, that is not a wolf." Bofur said.
A warg suddenly appeared from the top of a boulder, leaping down and knocking into Ori. Thorin sliced it's neck open with his new sword, and pulled Ori out from underneath.
Another warg appeared. Kili pushed in front of Alenia, shooting an arrow. The warg fell forwards, and Alenia pushed in front of Kili to finish it off with her sword.
"Warg scouts! Which means an orc pack is not far behind." Alenia said, wiping her sword off on the dead warg's fur.
"Orc pack?" Bilbo asked.
"Who did you tell about your quest, beyond your kin?" Gandalf asked Thorin.
"No one." Thorin said.
"Who did you tell?" Gandalf shouted.
"No one, I swear!" Thorin retorted. "What in Durin's name is going on?"
"You are being hunted." Alenia remarked, pushing the dwarves forward. "We have to get out of here."
"We can't! We have no ponies; they bolted!" Ori cried.
"I'll draw them off." Radagast stated, boarding his sleigh.
"These are Gundabad wargs; they will outrun you." Gandalf said, shaking his head.
"These are Rhosgobel rabbits. I'd like to see them try." The brown wizard smirked.
