Trying to break away from his longing thoughts Jungkook mumbled "Its sad the show was canceled....I guess I was cut anyways, but its just weird to see it come to an end so quickly".Wistfully Taehyung added "I agree.....I remember when I first met you I really just thought you were some talentless newbie actor who was casted for his looks", pausing Taehyung turned his head to Jungkook "But you really proved me wrong Jungkook. Your an amazing actor, and even if you are handsome....I now know that you got your part for your talent".Turning his head towards Taehyung, Jungkook didn't know what to think. At first his mind had automatically jumped to the fact that a famous actor just complimented him on his acting, but then again hearing Taehyung say that as his friend moved him in a way he couldn't describe. Staring into each other's eyes they both stopped walking for a second.Jungkook couldn't turn away, Jungkook didn't want to turn away, but as he was forced to clear his throat, Taehyung seemed to snap out of it and continue walking.A couple steps later Jungkook sputtered nervously returning the compliment "Thank you Taehyung....and I always knew you were an amazing actor...since I mean..your famous...but never in my dreams would I have imagined how interesting and amazing you are in person."Still walking next to each other, Taehyung couldn't help but smile at Jungkook's compliment. He could here the nervousness in Jungkook's voice. Taehyung wasn't sure why Jungkook had been acting so nervous every time he said something to him though.Finding Jungkook's reactions cute Taehyung smiled "Jungkook...why are you acting so nervous around me?"Widening his eyes Jungkook once again stammered while he started to blush "What do you mean! I'm not acting nervous! I'm not!"Slightly laughing Taehyung started to joke "Do I make you nervous Jungkook? Is that it? But why would I make you feel nervous?"Jungkook could sense Taehyung's mocking tone, but that still did pull away from the fact that what he was saying was all true. He had just realized how he felt for Taehyung that morning, and being alone like this.....he just couldn't help it.Continuing his "joke" Taehyung stopped walking for a second as he grabbed Jungkook's broad shoulders, firmly pushing him against the large tree behind him. Moving his hands, one of them now pressed against Jungkook's chest to keep him there, and his other right next to Jungkook's head resting against the tree.Moving his head close to Jungkook's he breathed still smiling "Does this make you nervous Jungkook? Were you nervous when we.....kissed too?"Jungkook had no idea what to do. There he was standing there pressed up against a tree, breathing heavily. All he could do was just stare at Taehyung. He knew that Taehyung was joking, but it didn't feel like a joke to him. Right now it was hard to control the urge to initiate a kiss. There faces were already so close all he had to do was move his head slightly.Just as Taehyung was about to take his "joke" a step further he realized what he was doing. Backing away quickly, Taehyung forced a light chuckle as he started to continue walking. It seemed what Taehyung did backfired as he felt his face heat up. Had he just used the excuse of a joke to get physically close to Jungkook? At first he really had just been teasing Jungkook, but now he knew he took it a step to far. It seemed worth it in a way....when Jungkook looked at him --blushing-- looking flustered...Taehyung felt his heart skip a beat.Feeling Taehyung's hand leave his chest, Jungkook couldn't help but think about how much he had...enjoyed that. Even if it was Taehyung just teasing him....the closeness was too much for him. Maybe it was a good thing Namjoon and Jimin would be with them because Jungkook knew if they were alone he might get carried away. And he couldn't let that happen, he didn't want Taehyung to get weirded out.Catching up to Taehyung who was already a few steps ahead of him Jungkook felt that he could begin conversation again."You know, I guess I am sometimes nervous around you Taehyung. I Especially was when I first met you....it's just you're so amazing, it's impossible not to. But at the same time, the more I get to know you, the more relaxed, you make me feel. Even if I still get nervous....I think you are now one of my closest friends.." Jungkook mumbled. What Jungkook said was true....it was just he left out the detail of his feelings for Taehyung.Smiling at Jungkook's sweetness, Taehyung lovingly gazed at him. Jungkook always knew exactly what to say. But the only thing was....that dreaded word came up again: friends. Even if what Jungkook said about being one of his closest friends was warming to the heart. It still meant what it meant. Taehyung wanted more so much, but Jungkook just confirmed it. All he thought of Taehyung was as a 'friend'....nothing more.Letting his romantic feelings for Jungkook over power the other side of him that just focused on Jungkook's compliment, a blank slightly cold look took over his face. Soon his smile, and blush disappeared. Maybe Taehyung was overreacting. Maybe being friends should be enough. He should appreciate his friendship with Jungkook, and not take it for granted, but again in his head that thought; Why do we have to only be friends? Why can't it be more?Instantly Jungkook noticed Taehyung's unexpected reaction to what he said.Studying him Jungkook asked "Taehyung? What's wrong?"Not wanting Jungkook to get suspicious, Taehyung tried to look not so saddened as he stated "It's nothing...I'm fine, but Jungkook it might start to get dark soon, and Jimin and Namjoon are probably back. We should head back to the cabin soon". Jungkook knew something was off about Taehyung but he couldn't put his finger on it."Let's walk a little bit longer....I like having time alone, and I'm sure the sunset will be pretty, so why not wait until then?" Jungkook smiled. It took a lot of Jungkook's bravery to ask that. He didn't want to seem to...forward, but it was true. He wanted to have more time alone together with Taehyung. Jungkook also wanted to try to make Taehyung in a good mood again because it seemed he was sad about something.Widening his eyes Taehyung was surprised, and a little pleased by Jungkook's request. Had he really just asked to walk with him longer, and until the sunset?Smiling again Taehyung mumbled "Oh...Ok!" Maybe he should just enjoy the friendship for now. Trying to ignore the thought of only friends Taehyung chatted with Jungkook a little bit more.After a little bit longer, sure enough the sun started to set. Standing there for a second side by side Taehyung and Jungkook looked up at the sky together, getting lost in the moment.
