Book: Under Your Influence
Review: What can I say besides shouting "I love this book!". I just fell in love with the author's writing style that seems so natural in every word. If the author is describing the action, then every act is told. If he or she is conveying emotion, then every bit of sentiment is felt. It makes everything feel so much alive inside the book that is giving me the feeling like I am the character myself instead of just a reader. Even with a scene of a wounded hand, the author can narrate in such a unique and outstanding way that involve the character's physical and emotional pain. Moreover, the story contains a lot of humor that I can't help but laugh until I cry. I enjoy reading this book and I think I will add it to my collection for further reading. Magnificent job, author.
SECOND PLACE
Name: GandalfofspaceAnli
Book: Mine to Protect and to Serve.
Review: I do not know what to say, honestly. This book just gets me addicted, starting with how one of the leads goes against heaven's king just to stand firm to what he believes in. I have always loved the plot regarding angels and demons so when I first read this book, I almost squealed in excitement. Still, what makes me fall in love is not based on the plot alone. It is the author's writing style. Though some sentences seem abrupt, the author is still able to convey strong and powerful emotions within each sentence, making my body keep on getting goosebumps while reading it. The love that derives from pure protection, and subsequently develops into something more is exceptionally sentimental.I love how this story goes. Nevertheless, I find the non-sequential event is a bit confusing as the story keeps going back and forth from the present to the past and vice versa.
THIRD PLACE
Name: StellaMaria77
Book: Be My Lover, I Dare You.
Review: The cover is super neat looking but the writing at the top is difficult to read. Still caught my attention. The blurb is nearly perfect although there was one or two sentences that didn't read well. I absolutely love your character development. After a few chapters,I already knew who my favorite characters were. The dialogue is hilarious and I could picture the characters in my head clearly as they spoke to one another. Even the Minor characters within the story had their own personalities and you clearly showed that within your writing. You're writing style is perfect for this genre, you found a way to give the reader just enough to leave them wanting more for after each chapter. A few times within your story, a few sentences didn't quite read well. These were due to a missing comma, or the wrong tense of a word. It did not interrupt the flow of the story, but fixing those would truly take this story to another level. I really enjoyed reading this story and I can not wait to continue reading. I would recommend this to my friends.
FOURTH PLACE
Name: JasriienJordan
Book: Just So You Know, I'm A Mess.
Review: The cover grabbed my attention immediately. The writing is easy to understand and it looks so interesting. The blurb needs a little something more. I suggest some direct quotes from the book because honestly, it's such a great read with some powerful scenes. A solid proofread would take this story to another level. None of the grammar or punctuation errors that I found interrupted the flow of the story, but it would clean up the story and make it look more professional if these errors were fixed. Although you may find a few other books with a similar story line, this book sets itself apart with it's amazing character development and writing style. I love Caelan's POV and inner monologue in the beginning. Completely drew me in as a reader. In just a few short chapters, I already love the MC and his family so much. You go into the story really routing for Caelan. The author managed to bring out the personalities in all the characters introduced with such amazing descriptions you feel like a fly on the shoulder of caelan as he walks through this big change in his life. I would recommend this book to my friends.
FIFTH PLACE
Name: AJRossi
Book: Peaches & Cream
Review: I'll be honest, when I read your blurb, I wasn't at all interested in the story. It just didn't have that hook to make me what to know what happens. Maybe revise and add more suspense to how much Jericho's may or will be going through within the story. Now, the story, however it's an absolute bueaty. From the very first chapter, I was invented in Jericho and Joseph. I love how long the chapters are, but the reason I scored it low is because Wattpad readers prefer 2-2.5k word count chapters. Lord knows, why... but most look chapters don't get many reads. Break them up and I'm sure you'll have more reads. I'll be adding this book to my personal reading list. Give them a happy ending! For me! Haha, great job!
HONORABLE MENTION
Name: TrushaJi
Book: Your Name
Review: Despite the grammar and untranslated words, I absolutely adored this oneshot. You had me smiling, laughing and sad all at once. I suggest using Grammarly to help with the grammar, it's free which is great. I so wish there was more description to help build a picture of what you've written. I think that would be so much better to imagine it rather than to see images. But I get that it's like a light novel. All the best.
