Dear readers,

I have come to notice that a few participants are not following the rules correctly after having been accepted. Some participants have also not informed me of their username changes, and others have not informed me of the fact that they've deleted their books. The judges are having a hard time because of this. I will be rechecking the roster individually, and revamping it due to this problem.

These are the changes coming forth: those who are not following the rules will have their names noted and eliminated. Those who have not informed us of their account changes pertaining to their username or the deletion of their books, may be eliminated unless they come forth to inform me via DMs; but I will also have some of my judges scout the roster too and PM the ones who've changed their books' name etc since there are participants who may have lost track of the awards they've entered.

I have been very lenient with everything, but now it seems that I'll have to be much more severe. I notice awards lashing out at their participants to "read the damn rules before you enter/follow the damn rules after you've entered," but I will not say it in such a way.

Simply, I will be rechecking the roster weekly to implement this drastic change, to tail out the ones who are not following the rules, and eliminate them. This means that they will not be able to enter future editions of the Ace Awards. I will not resort to lashing out at participants because that is unprofessional, but I will not be too lenient either, not anymore. Rules are made to be followed, and it is not as if the rules are too much to follow. :)

Regarding the matter of participants' name and book changes, it is unfair to the other participants who wish to enter their books but cannot because of a sedentary account holding up a slot that they could have easily been added to.

It has been brought to my attention that even some winners have not followed the rules correctly, and as such their interviews will not be published. These winners will also be unable to enter future editions of the Ace Awards.

There is also another bigger problem I would like to shed light on, as one of my judges has shown me, but I will be addressing this in a separate note. It involves plagiarism, and that too, without permission.
