NOTE:
We are aware that this Award is not like other awards because we have introduced a consecutive batch system. This will be further simplified below so that you all may acquaint yourselves with what is to come.

🌿 HOW THE AWARD WORKS:

Since we have just started the awards, there will be only one existing batch UNTIL one GENRE has been FULLY BOOKED, after which we will introduce the second batch for that genre. To simplify things, let's take an example: if batch one's romance is full, (30/30), then an announcement will be made saying it is full and in the process of being judged. The NEW batch will come out, with the genre romance at (0/30). If poetry is still at (10/30) in batch one, then the NEW batch will NOT have poetry available until the previous batch's poetry is FULL. This will be held in a continuous process until the 10th batch.

There will be different stickers for each batch to introduce variety. Each batch will have different backgrounds, and different fonts (*). The stickers for the winners will be sent via gmail. You, the winners, will have to take full responsibility to acknowledge your position, to notify us of your placement so that you may redeem your reward. The @AceSociety does NOT take any responsibility if you claim you have not received your prizes when you have not reached out to us as we have told you to.

RESULTS, once posted, will be subject to being deleted after 7 days of it being submitted. Genre entries will be deleted after results are submitted.

If you wish to win, then you should pay attention to the evaluation criteria in the marking scheme. There are questions displayed in the chapter to guide you with your work. Of course, it is not compulsory to apply and adapt; only recommended.

Contestants who have participated in the Ace Awards 2020 First Edition and who wish to enter this Supreme edition, you are allowed to! Only the first place winners of their designated book of the First Edition cannot unless they choose to apply their first place book in a different genre.

Participants, there will be a roster in which your entries will be recorded. There will be instances where the roster may not show your work even though we have already applied it in it's respective genre. In such cases, please delete this book from your library and then re-add it. Refresh the page and re-check the roster. If that still does not work, notify us in a PM. The password for the award system is "fleur de flora."

When the first batch is full and the majority of the results are out, we will be deleting all the results for the first batch so that we can move onto the second batch. Hence why we recommend having the winners claim their rewards as soon as the results are out.

Participants who desire to enter the current batch but find it full, you must wait until the new batch is out before applying. Participants who wish to apply as a judge can do so, as long as it is in another genre or in a different batch. For example, you are participating in romance, first batch. This means you can judge in romance, second batch. Or, you are participating in romance, first batch, and you choose to judge short story, first batch.

Otherwise, the award follows the standard criteria. For application as a participant, you will be directed to the "form // participants" chapter. Fill in the form in the respective chapter, with an inline comment to your genre. Judges will give you a decent review once the results are out. You may apply it or keep it as constructive criticism.

Now, let's do the math. Each genre will consist of 20 slots. There will be 6 winners in total. 13 + 1 honorable mention do not gain any prizes, but they may re-apply the same book for a second chance in a new batch. All in all, it's a win-win situation.

Judges will be on a daily roll, one of which they will of course be compensated for. Judges will be switching and alternating between genres so that they don't get bored judging the same genre. They will receive premium assets not available to those who are not permanent judges for the Ace Awards projects. The password for the award system is "fleur de flora."

When one batch's genre is full and the judge is judging it, the next batch's genre will be conducted by another judge. That way it will be a circular, continuous cycling process.

JUDGES ARE ALLOWED TO TAKE BREAKS WHEN THEY ARE NOT IN NEED OF JUDGING. BREAKS MAY BE CUT SHORT IF WE ARE IN NEED OF JUDGING. JUDGES, ONCE YOU JOIN, THERE IS NO BACKING OUT. WHEN WE ARE IN NEED OF JUDGING, YOU MUST JUDGE.

There are also cases where a judge can be replaced by another judge, but they will have to judge in place of the voluntary judge. For example: @Becky was supposed to judge batch four's poetry, but was unable to. @HocusPocus replaces her. Then in batch five's poetry, @Becky replaces @HocusPocus in judging the genre she couldn't judge before.

Judges will have responsibility on their shoulders, but of course they will be rewarded for their efforts! Nothing has to be perfect, perfection does not exist. You do NOT need to be experienced with judging to join.

Judges will follow the marking scheme and send @AceSociety the results by the given email (once you are a judge, the email address will be sent to you via PM). Judges will also be encouraged to join the official Club, so that they may familiarize with other judges.

Judging periods will be sporadic; meaning that when one genre is full for a batch, judging will take place. HOWEVER, there may be instances where genres which are full but lacking in judges, will be replaced by another sedentary judge.
