Lets just skip over the lazy man explanations, I am too lazy to give them anymore.

The most interesting observations to make are paradoxes. The truthful lie, the emotional logic, theoretically it shouldn't be possible and yet it definitely exists in the world. And one of the most curious paradoxes I noticed is the open-minded bigot.

These so-called progressive thinkers do nothing but follow whatever trends exist in the 'modern' crowd, and would always support whatever is new. Perhaps it comes from the reactionary tendency to support the underdog, but more often it is just about doing what they think is right, or rather, what they think the crowd, the society thinks right. And not society in the conventional sense, but what the 'progressives', the rebels think right. These open-minded bigots have one simple mantra-accept everything that is new and protect it from the 'conservatives', come what may. Even if the new thing may have its own objections, these paradoxical people would blindly label the side which doesn't support them as close-minded, unthinking bigots, little knowing that they in the process may be becoming one as well.

For example, these days there is a great support of LGBTQ relations among the progressives/modern elite, and speaking out against it is instantly a sign of conservationism. The phrase "let love be" is used to defend it and has trended on social media. Well, the same phrase can be applied to and use to defend many other perverted forms of 'love'. True, I allude and make an unfair comparison with things much more disgusting, but remember, a 100, or even 50 years back from now the very idea of same sex relations evoked such disgust. Imagine the future world labeling our society as un-progressive savages for criminalizing forms of perverted relations! Far-fetched, but you get the idea. No one can predict the kind of changes in this world, and once the changes occur, not everyone might be able to understand and accept it instantly. Certainly labeling someone a bigot wouldn't help them understand and accept that change, and an open-minded bigot can't convey or aid in understanding, for they have none of their own. To accept without understanding can be just as bad as to reject without understanding in other situations.

Or lets say, take the clearer, less controversial example of education. People want to promote education across all classes, all subjects, worldwide, without assessing the impact it has or solving the problems existing in it. What use is physics to a farmer, to a businessman or to an artist? The time spent in school, it could have been used much more efficiently in training for the career the student wants to pursue, rather than making them study all subjects and making them a jack of all trades rather than a master of one. And what use is forcing education upon those in poverty, when colleges would still charge them higher and won't give them admissions, when there are no jobs for all those who with difficulty manage to get a degree after all, when all that money could have been used to improve their quality of life, and all that time to live and enjoy childhood in playgrounds and learn skills that are actually necessary to their trade, rather than study in dreary classes??

Now, what am I saying? Am I telling you all to be conservationist bigots, or oppose whatever ideas become popular? Oh no, that's worse. Instead, I would rather like that each individual thinks about such issues for themselves, and know whether their values call for a Captain America like "If the whole world tells you to move, you tell them, you move" type of stance, or whether they truly agree to and fully support the new ideas being propagated by the manipulating media moguls. Its what separates the individual from the herd society. Anyone can be conservative or be an open-minded bigot. Anyone can just continue with traditions because they are old, or rally against them because its the new trend. Accepting something just because you are open-minded is just as bad as rejecting something just because you are conservative. The one who thinks from both sides and then decides for themselves is a true progressive thinker. Or if you are too lazy, remain in the "ignorance is bliss" spectrum, or just do a toss. Its much easier.
