The first thing the three children noticed when they arrived, was bright yellow tape with the words: ' CRIME SCENE, DO NOT CROSS! ' in big black letters, around the front of the house.

'It's too late!' , though Medusa when she saw the lights flashing up ahead.

Police officers were everywhere, trying to gather as much evidence as possible. Even the news reporters were there, with their cameras up and running.

Studying the crowd carefully, Medusa recognized a silver haired man standing amongst a couple of police officers close to the entrance to the house. She immediately made her way there, with Sarah and Billy close behind.

"Agent Gibbs! What happened? " asked Medusa as she came within the Agent's earshot.

"The Scientists has been abducted," replied Agent Gibbs as he turned around to face the three children.

"Hmm, " sighed Medusa. "Do you know the scientist's name? "

"Matthew Parker."

"Do you mind if we go and take a look inside? " asked Sarah, finally understanding everything.

Gibbs said nothing, instead indicated with his two fingers that they should follow him, as he led them into the house.

The place was a mess. As usual, when you walk into a crime scene, but a book sticking out from under the couch, caught Billy's attention.

He walked over there and picked it up.

"I found it!" he called back to the others.

"What?" Asked Sarah as everyone made their way to him.

"The book! " exclaimed Medusa as Billy held it out to her.

Everyone crowded around her to catch a glimpse of the thing that caused all this abduction trouble.
"Well, well. Now that we have the book... the abductions will stop. Right?" Asked Sarah as she looked at Medusa hopefully.
