"Guys, I have great news!" Exclaimed Medusa as she entered the flat with excitement.

"What?" Asked Sarah sensing her excitement.

"Did you find the book?" asked Billy expectantly.

"No, but I know why it's only scientists being abducted!" Replied Medusa.

"Why?" asked both Billy and Sarah in unison.

"Because of the book!" She stated bluntly.

Seeing their confused expressions, she knew she lost them.

"It's like this," explained Medusa. "We as scientists or let me be specific. I as a scientist started the experiment. "

"Yes, but-" began Billy before harshly being cut off.

"Let me finish! " snapped Medusa as she rolled her eyes.

Billy immediately shut his mouth and indicated he'd let her speak as he nodded his head for her to continue.

"So as I was saying, I started the experiment and left a part of it behind when I tried to get rid of it. The experiment's recipe is in the book. Yes. The exact same book that John and Maddie were reading-"

"So?" asked Billy.

"So," continued Medusa annoyed at his interruption again. "Anyone who reads the book is a threat to the Dire Wolf, especially Scientists. The only way it can keep itself alive and safe is to eliminate or get rid of it's threats. Now we know that it doesn't want to eliminate it's threats unless it has to-"

"How do we know that?"

"Really?! " Medusa looked over at Billy and he realised that he seriously had to keep quiet now, or she'd rip his head off of his shoulders.

"Sorry."

"If he planned on killing anyone, which is what I'd do to you soon if you interrupt me one more time," she mumbled the last part beneath her breath as she glanced at Billy before continuing, " we would've found John and Maddie's or any of those other scientists' bodies. The fact that we didn't just proves that he's only interested in abducting them and keeping them out of his way - " suddenly Medusa stopped.

'Anyone who reads the book is a threat to the Dire Wolf...especially Scientists...abducts it's threats...'

Suddenly it struck Medusa.

"What is it?" asked Sarah as Billy looked at Medusa equally confused.

"The retired scientists! He has the copy, of the book. Which makes him a threat! He's next on the Dire Wolf's abduction list! We need to get to him now!!!" blurted Medusa.

"What??" Asked Billy.

Without answering Billy's question, she rushed to the house's phone and dialled Agent Gibbs' number. When he answered, she told him everything.

"We'll meet you there!" said Medusa over the phone and then hung up.

"Let's go!" she said as she turned to Sarah and Billy with excitement in the atmosphere.
