So, I had decided for the first animal chapter, to do ferrets, as dogs, cats and fish are mostly known. And ferrets and gerbil's are the only other animal I have come into contact of taking care of. Although, the gerbils are my younger sister's and I don't really take care of them, I may just ask her about them and do a chapter, if you guys want.

Ferrets are very delicate. Even though they have been known to be able to take down animals much larger them themselves. They can easily kill any other house hold pet, so you really shouldn't let them around if you have many others.

I do have many other animals- four dogs and two cats, not including Leo, who's an outside cat- so, I hadn't let Lorenzo or Flower near the other animals.

They are carnivores, so, they eat meat. I get chicken hearts, chicken thighs, and chicken livers. We boil the chicken, putting it into a blender-with the water-to make it kinda liquid like, it's not completely liquid (but I can't think of the word to describe it) and put it in ziplock bags, then in the freezer for whenever we need it opened. we also, get baby food, but the meat based one's; beef, turkey,  and chicken.

They can catch human illnesses. So, if your sick, you shouldn't be holding them. Although, I had put on gloves and threw the gloves out to pick up Lorenzo when my sister and I were sick. I also put on hand sanitizer before picking either of them up.

There are multiple cages; one floor, two floors, three floors...for the size of the cage, it depends on how many ferrets you have.

Now, for my ferret, Lorenzo, it's a two story one. Since, it was the first time that we owned a ferret we had gotten the larger one, not knowing that's it's normally for when you have more ferrets. Lorenzo has two litters, one for each floor.

Ferrets like to use the bathroom in corners-it's odd.-so, that's where you could put the litter/ dog paper, so they don't use the bathroom on the floor. But, keep it in one place, so they know where it is and walk towards it.

Ferrets like up to nine years.
