~Prologue~

"Are you done Echo?" My mother asked causing me to internally roll my eyes. I was born to a family of 4 children and me being the only girl was the one always stuck home while my brothers had the freedom they wanted.

"Yes mother, now if you excuse me the maid brought me a book I very much like to read. So if you excuse me." I say bowing a little. My family is loaded to say the least, and since I'm not allowed to go anywhere without butlers, maids, or bodyguards and am home schooled I'm sort of an outcast and enjoy reading books. I had found an interesting book in the library of this house before I was interrupted by my mother asking me if I could meet her.

I make my way towards my room taking the book in hand again and start reading it. The Record of the Five Cardinal Weapons. I started reading the intro and about the heroes who were summon from other worlds to fight the waves of catastrophe. There was the sword, spear, bow, shield, and chains. I read each of their abilities and what to know about them but when I got to the chains a bright light surrounded me. Wait.. no! Am I literally being sucked in to the story?!

"The summoning was a success. Brave heroes would you please save our worlds from pure evil?" My eyes widen there's no way.

"What?" I turn my head to the side to notice 4 other guys there making me blink, this is really happening.

"Please oh brave heroes, our world is in dire need of saving." One of the men that summon us here said as I stud up noticing the chain wrapped around my wrists as if they were jewelry.

"What do you mean is in need of saving?" The kid with the bow asked.

"The story behind it all is long and complicated, but sufficed to say that you are the 5 cardenal heroes. And you were summoned here using an ancient ritual. Our world is in the most fragile state, and teeters in the brink of destruction. So we beg you of brave heroes, please lend us your aid." Said a man as they all bowed their heads to us.

"I guess I could at least hear you out." Said the guy with the shield causing me to look at him before snapping my head to the one with the sword.

"Forget it!" He yelled.

"I also refuse." The one with the bow says.

"You can send us back to our home world right? Do that and maybe we'll talk." The one with the spear said.

"You brought the 5 of us here without our consent, don't you feel the least bit sorry about it?" The guy with the sword says extending his sword towards the people with cloaks.

"Not to mention if you throw us out as soon as we restore peace we have done all that work for nothing." Said the one with the bow making me raise a brow at them.

"How willing are you to accommodate our requests, depending on your answer we may end up as your enemies instead of your allies." Who the hell do they think they are?

"Good sirs, before we say anymore we'd like you to have an audience with the king of Melromarc, you can negotiate your rewords with him directly. So please." Said the man walking towards us.

"Alright fine." Said the one with the sword putting it down and following the man as did the bow and spear.

"Annoying peasants." I say with a sigh before noticing the one with the shield looking at me.

"We should probably follow them." I say to him as he blinks and nods.

"Right." He says as we both walk behind the others. They talked about how real this world looked making me raise a brow at them. Soon we made it to the king himself.

"So you young man and woman are the 5 cardinal heroes of the ancient legend this is the land of Melromarc and I am its king, Aultcray Melromarc XXXII. Welcome brave heroes please identify yourselves." I was standing between the shield and spear, honestly I don't care about their names at all, they all seem like a pain in the ass.. well except the shield.
