Cyanna's POV

We where there for three days and I couldn't find them. They where moving around all day. Everyone was called to the court type of room so Quigley and I decided to take our chance. We went there with everyone else. And there they where my siblings.

Jacques got accused for being Count Olaf and he was sentenced to death. I wish I could change what happened I wish I could of.

"Baudelaire's!" I said after the court meeting. They all turned around.

"Cassidy?" Violet said.

"Yes it's me I came here I needed to give Klaus something" I looked at Klaus.

"Before that we've been studying the letter you gave us before everything, what's C.B?" Violet asked.

"I wish I could tell you I really really do but I can't and I'm truly sorry" I said with a small frown. Violet and Klaus sighed.

"What did you wanna give me?" Klaus asked.

"Don't open it until tomorrow" I handed it to him. "I wish you guys well I hope to see you guys soon"

"We hope we'll see you soon as well" Klaus said waving goodbye. I waved goodbye and walked off with Quigley.

Since Olivia and Jacques where both in jail we had to stay in town or walk. We stayed as it would be a long walk and we needed to help Olivia and Jacques and I knew the quagmires where hidden here somewhere.

"Quigley... maybe we should stay" I suggested "I know you're siblings are here and we need to help Jacques and Olivia"

"I strongly agree" he stated "Just we cant let them know it's me... my siblings if we find them"

"Yeah I know Quigley" I said "Do you think they'll know it's you?"

"Yeah probably" he sighed. I sighed as well.

The next day.

Jacques was dead, my siblings where blamed for it.

Klaus's POV

We where stuck in jail, for the murder of Count Olaf. I sat down on the floor feeling something in my pocket. I remembered it was the letter from Cassidy. I grabbed it out and read it.

Dear Klaus Baudelaire,

Happy birthday ! Trust me everything will get better one day I hope I can help you guys in some way. I just wanted to wish you a happy Birthday.

"Violet she wrote C.B again..." I said looking up at her "And I just remembered... today is my birthday"

Violet sighed and sat down by me. "Oh Klaus I'm sorry..." she whispered gently to me.

"Just everything about Cassidy it just it's weird" I sighed heavily.

"What's weird about her?" Violet asked "She seems smart and nice"

"That's the thing... She gazes off like Cyanna... she acts like cyanna, she looks at me like cyanna did it's just" I looked around "Maybe I'm going crazy"

"I wouldn't say you're going crazy Klaus I miss her too" Violet said "You're learning how to cope" I nodded and looked around.

Cyanna's POV

"There In jail for a murder they didn't commit" I said then let out a soft sigh. Quigley just hugged me.

"I know it's hard" he sighed "All I wanna do is reunite with my siblings"

"They're two survivors of the fire i know I'm one but I wanna find one of my Parents they can help us, help us both I'm sure they won't mind taking care of you and your siblings when we find them"

"Wait a second..." Quigley said. "There's two survivors of the fire... your one... I was told the same thing that there was two survivor and I was one"

I looked over at Quigley "Yeah so?"

"Neither one of our parents are alive Cyanna" he whispered.

"What do you mean Larry said..." I pointed out.
She
"Yeah I know Larry said there are two survivors but Cyanna your one of the survivors and I'm the other see two survivors. I thought for a moment when I realized he was right I didn't know what to say.

"I'm happy your alive believe me but I still wish my parents survived" I admitted.

"I know me as well" he replied back to me. I smiled slightly and he smiled back. We sat there not sure what to do.

To this very moment I wish I could change what happened these many years ago. I wish I could of saved Jacques, the Quagmires and my siblings. I always wonder what would of happened if I disobeyed Larry and told them who I was. What if I did? Would it of saved Jacques and many others? I will never know.  But that's how the story goes.

Awhile later my siblings broke out. I watched them at the fountain.

"Baudelaire's what are you doing?" I asked. Quigley was out and about not with me.

"We think they Quagmires are in the fountain. I ran over to them they where standing on top of each other.

"Be careful you guys!" I said watching them. Klaus and Violet soon toppled to the ground as sunny held onto the beak. I helped the Klaus up and the beak soon pulled down, kinda like a leaver. Violet caught Sunny as she fell and I helped them up.

The beak had made the fountain bird open to reveal Isadora and Duncan.

"Duncan!" Violet shouted running over to them.

"Isadora!" Klaus shouted as well following Violet. I smirked slightly at the quagmires.

"You found the poems!" Isadora said as her and Duncan climbed out of the fountain. Isadora hugged Klaus and Duncan hugged Violet they both hugged me and we all smiled.

"Are you guys ok?" I asked.

"Better now" Duncan said.

"How did you guys even get here?" Klaus asked.

"Count Olaf smuggled us in the red herring out of the auction" Isadora Explained.

"We found it, that's how we knew you where close" Violet said happily. We all smiled at each other.

"You didn't happen to see anything written inside?" Duncan said nervously.

"We didn't have time to examine it closely" Violet said, I could tell she was lying. Duncan sighed in relief.

"Count Olaf locked us in this fountain so we would be out of his way" Isadora said.

"That's horrible!" I exclaimed.

"Count Olaf is a horrible man" Duncan pointed out. I nodded in agreement. "It was Isadora's idea to use couplets as a code"

"And Duncan figured out how to smuggle them out" Isadora said glancing at Duncan with a small smile.

"It was damp from the mourning dew and there was always crows on the fountain" Duncan explained "So we waited until the one landed on the beak and wrapped the couplet around its leg"

"That's brilliant" I said smiling at the two. They returned a smile.

"How did you know we where here?" Klaus asked.

"We didn't we just knew you would find us" Isadora said.

"That's what friends are for" Duncan said, he said that a lot and he still does go this day. Sunny mumbled something.

"This way" Klaus said and started running we all followed him.

The Baudelaires kept running and I stopped the quagmires for a brief moment. They both looked at me.

"I hope to see you soon Quagmires" I said softly with a smile.

"I'm sure we will" Duncan smiled at me.

"Great things are to come" I whispered giving them one last hug before we ran in different Directions. I soon found Quigley.

"Hey Cyanna" he smiled he had a sack full of stuff.

"Your siblings are safe my siblings and I found them they know who I am" I said he smiled happily and hugged me I hugged back. "Cmon I wanna check something out" He nodded and I ran to the building the Baudelaires said the red herring where in. I tried opening it.

"Need a hand?" Quigley said putting his stuff down I nodded and he helped me open it. I looked inside where I saw D.Q + V.B scratched into the red herring. I just stood there looking at it.

"What does it stand for?" Quigley asked me.

"Duncan Quagmire plus Violet Baudelaire" I sighed, why was I jealous of this relationship I didn't know.... did I like Duncan. The very moment did make me realized the feelings I had for Duncan Quagmire.

"You don't like Duncan do you?" Quigley asked.

"What!? No of course not I don't like anyone" I shut the red herring "Violet doesn't seem like the type of person who would like someone"

//hehe Duncan and Cyanna :) This doesn't mean there won't be any flirtation between Quigley and Duncan, as Violet did kinda with both well I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
