Prologue

*Cringes* I'm rewriting this story at the moment, so check that one out if you were thinking of reading this cheesiness overload- it's called 'The Stars in Her Eyes' . But if you wish, read at your own risk.

"Mummy! Mummy! Look at this!"

She saw the flash of brown hair and readied herself.

"Alright darling, I'm coming!" she called back.

In all honesty she found her eagerness cute and amusing. The little girl grabbed the hem of her dress and proceeded to drag her mother, although her tugging had very little significance at the pace her mother was walking, towards the source of her excitement.

Finally, she stopped in front of a tree. It was small, and had branches flowing with a deep blush of blossom in the early spring. The wind blew, making a few dots of pollen float through the air, highlighted in the radient beams of the sunlight. There was something about it that seemed almost magical.

"What does it say?" her daughter began to repeat, looking up at her expectantly.

The mother peered closer at the tree and saw that it was engraved with, presumably of course, two initials. 'T + T' had been drawn roughly inside of a heart, paired with an infinity sign beneath.

It seemed as if it was all at once that the memories came flooding back to her.

She knew that was something was familiar about this place.

"T + T." the mother said softly.

She couldn't believe that this was the park, the one that she and him and visited that night all those years ago.

"What does it mean?" the girl asked curiously.

"It's a long story honey..." she trailed off, her eyes glistened with unshed tears of happiness.

But despite her warning, the little girl's eyes still glowed with anticipation and curiosity, awaiting the much desired story.

The mother shook her head slightly and took a breath, as she started to tell the story behind the simple engraving.

"Well..."
