#6 Running Away
....Prince Jasper! "Finally, fresh air again. Didn't realize I had missed it so much." At his voice, Morning neighed happily and ran out of the shadows. "Morning?!" Jasper practically shouted. He whipped his head in the direction of the shadows that Morning had just come out of, waiting to see if the princesses were there to. The girls came out, looking a bit guilty, hand in hand. Jasper just stared at them, until Winter, ever the straightforward one, ran up to him and said, "Your safe! Yay!" She then proceeded to hug him. It caught Jasper by surprise, but he then hugged her back, smiling. "Yup, he is. Now can we leave already?" Winter let go of Jasper and gave her sister a dirty look. Arianna knew her sister was trying to get her to hug Jasper, but she just couldn't. Not now anyway. Jasper smile slipped his face, but returned quickly, like he hadn't wanted anyone to notice. "Ok, so why are you girls still here? I told you to go without me on Morning." The princesses looked at each other. "Yeah, well, we sort of fell in love with Morning. He is beautiful!" Jasper sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "Ok, well, you need to go, so here."
He walked over to them and nimbly picked Winter up by her waist, gently placing her on Morning bareback. Jasper then walked over to Arianna and did the same. But while Winter was busy fondly Mornings head, Arianna leaned over and whispered," I'm sorry, and thank you." She gave his hand a squeeze, then slapped Morning to get him going, headed in the direction winter had said was east.

Arianna looked back to see Japer still there, watching them. She was pretty sure he would be there for a while. She hadn't been able to ask him how he was going to follow them though, although she hopped he wasn't going to walk. "Winter, do you think we should slow down a bit? I'm no animal expert, but it seems we are going a little fast, even to me." They were going too fast, as poor Mornings chest was heaving with the effort. "Oh my, so sorry baby! Whoa now boy, whoa now. That better boy. There there, that's a good boy. This here good boy is so nice, taking two random strangers to a random place, you're so sweet..." Arianna tuned Winter senseless swooning out. She wasn't in the mood for it. She decided to look at their surroundings, which were very pretty, even in the dark. She could see blossoming trees surrounding their path. It was a lovely sight. Arianna looked at the position of the moon and decided that is was about 3 o'clock. With that realization, she decided to take a nap. She yawned and slumped against Winters back. "Win, I'm going to take a nap, please wake me in a bit." "Ok Ari, sleep tight!" With that, Arianna closed her heavy eyelids and slept.
Winter smiled when she felt Arianna's body against hers. It had been a long time since anything like this had happened. Feeling her light breathing on her bare shoulder, she felt another dream/memory spring out of her mind. She didn't want to think on this 'dreamory', but she couldn't think of a way to avoid it. Sighing, she let it into her consciousness, embracing it instead of fighting it.
She was on a horse in a bad blizzard, snow whipping past her at many miles per hour. She had self pressed up against someone, hugging them for dear life. She had been freezing, and she didn't think she was going to make it. But then the person in front of her reached over and gently placed a thick fur on her, blocking out most of the wind and snow. She had then looked up to see the face, hopping to live long enough to at least say thank you, when...
Winter let out a gasp as she shivered. Opening her eyes, she realized it had just been a dream. A really real dream. Even though she realized it had been a dream, she still decided to take her hair out of its bun. Biting the reigns, just in case, she took out her hair tie, letting her blue tinged platinum blonde hair down, letting her waves frame her face nicely. She then yawned, and realized that Arianna was lightly snoring at her back. Smiling, Winter knew that it would be foolish to go on any longer.
Signaling Morning to stop at the next clearing, Winter hopped down, quickly catching Arianna before she fell off the horse. Gathering some leaves and petals, she made a bed for the both of them. She lay Arianna down in one, then got up and tied Morning loosely to a tree. "Night buddy. Sleep well." She gave him three carrots for dinner, and then lay down herself. Drifting off, she dreamt of handsome princess and beautiful princesses, dancing off into the night.
