Please ignore any mistakes.... I  tried my best to finish this chapter today and might overlooked a few.

3rd POV

Bowen woke up when something wet hit his face. He opened his eyes and saw LanLan nudging him with his snout. After a look on the clock he noticed that it was already 9 am. 

LanLan barked.

"I got it. I am getting up already. See?" Bowen said and climbed out of his bed while LanLan rewarded him with another bark and a tail wagging before walking to the bedroom door.

"I know what you want but at least let me take a shower first. Okay?" Bowen asked the dog and opened the bathroom door. LanLan passed him and jumped into the bathtub.

"Hey! I wanted to take a shower!" Bowen complained but the dog ignored him and sat down. Bowen gave in and sighed before bathing the impatient dog. "LanLan, if you shake your wet body, I swear I will go without you!" Bowen warned and LanLan put his paw on Bowen's arm.

After the bath, Bowen dried the dog and then took a shower himself while LanLan laid on the towel waiting for Bowen to finish.

Once Bowen was done he walked down the stairs and saw the breakfast was served already. On a note on the dining table XiaoQing bid farewell and announced she would be back in a week. Seeing that the breakfast was not touched he assumed his parents were still sleeping.

LanLan barked again.

"Be quiet! Mom and Dad are still sleeping. We will go after I had my breakfast! You should eat too, XiaoQing prepared something good in your bowl. Be a good boy and eat." Bowen told him and sat down before he eating his breakfast.

After Breakfast he wrote a note for his parents that he will be gone and comes back in a week as well. He looked to the stairs and was unsure if it was a good decision to let them alone. Sure his parents were adults but ... his father was clear with his intention and his mother seemed to totally agree with that.

"What do you think, LanLan? Is it okay to let them be on their own?" Bowen looked at the dog who barked again.

"Is that really what you think or is it only because you want to see your ZhanZhan as fast as possible?"

LanLan barked two times before snapping Bowen's shirt and pulling him towards the door.

"I got it. I got it! They are old enough to do what they think is right. Then lets go, buddy!" Bowen said, grabbed the leash, put it on LanLan's collar and made his way towards his car.

"Hey, you better behave yourself when we arrive there. You are a good boy, I know that, but still... You will not hunt the bunnies, you will be careful around the others, especially in front of the little boy living there, and you will listen to what someone says to you. Got it?" Bowen asked the dog who barked in agreement.

"Good. And another thing..-" Bowen started but the dog barked loudly again to show his impatience.  

"Listen! Another thing, be careful around Yibo! That boy likes your ZhanZhan very much and gets easily jealous with others around. Don't try his patience." Bowen chuckled and started the motor.

The dog cocked his head and looked at Bowen who laughed at this reaction.

"You will know what I mean when you met him. Sit down, now. We are moving!" Bowen said and drove off.

'I hope Yibo loves dogs ....' He thought amused.  

The ride took 3 hours and they arrived at 1 pm. Bowen turned off the engine and looked to the back where LanLan sniffed in the air and seemed to listen closely to his surroundings. He suddenly got impatient and started to whine while moving from the right window to the left window.

"We are at least 50 meters away and you can already smell him?" Bowen asked and LanLan suddenly howled loudly.

"Be quiet, will you?! He does not know you will come! I am not even sure if he remembers you..." Bowen said and LanLan stopped howling but started to growl instead.

"Okay, okay. Fine, he remembers you. No need to get mad..." He chuckled, took out his mobile phone and dialed a number.

"Hello, Bowen. How are you? I hope you come back today..." MianMian answered after accepting the call.

"I am fine, thank you. I am on my way and will arrive very soon. Say, where is my brother right now?"

"He is in the front yard with me." MianMian answered and he could hear her smiling.

"Really? What is he doing?"

"Sitting on the bench and reading a book while I am getting through some papers."

"Yibo?"

"At school until 4 pm. FanXing is sleeping and Haikuan is ... coming out of the bunny house right now. He was with WangJi since half an hour." She answered and chuckled.

"MianMian, who is this?" Bowen could hear Haikuan asking.

"Its Bowen. He said he will arrive soon." MianMian answered.

"Hey, Bowen. My son is waiting the whole time and if you don't show up anytime soon he might think you broke your promise. You better hurry up." Haikuan said into the phone and Bowen smiled.

"I got it. Give me five minutes. And don't tell him I am coming. I have a surprise for him.

"Alright." Haikuan said and cut the call.

Bowen put his phone away and looked at the still impatient dog who was trying to get out of the car through the closed windows.

"Okay, buddy. Are you ready to meet ZhanZhan?" Bowen asked and LanLan howled again before licking Bowen's face. "Oh, Come on! Was that really necessary? The howl would have been enough!" He complained and washed his face while LanLan barked again.

"Then lets go. Remember the rules." He said, took LanLan by the leash and together they left the car. While Bowen tried to walk in normal speed, LanLan pulled on the leash trying to run faster.

"Hey, don't pull like that!" Bowen warned him but the dog did not listen. He pulled once more very strongly, the leash teared and LanLan run off.

"Come back right now! LanLan!!Come back!!" Bowen shouted and run after him but the dog ignored him and continued his way until Bowen could not see him anymore. But he knew where LanLan run to so he was not really worried.  

Xiao Zhan's POV

The whole morning I was waiting for my brother but he did not come. Yibo had to go to school while Mom was still on sick leave for today. FanXing played with the bunnies and Dad had a video session with one of his patients. I was bored.

I joined FanXing for a while but it did not really make me happy today. So I decided to finish the painting of little PeiXin. It turned out good but I wished I had a picture of him. As I only saw the old baby photo of him I tried to imagine how he would look like as a 4 years old boy. Dad told me the police said PeiXin was at this age when he died but they were still investigating the reason for his death.

When I finished his painting and left my hobby room I saw Dad knocking on my bedroom door.

"I am here, Dad." I called him and he turned around. "Is something the matter?"

"Cant I just want to see you? I could not find you the whole morning so I thought I look after you?" He said to me before signaling me to enter the bedroom. We sat on my bed and I guess he was waiting for me to say something.

"I ate my medicine." I told him and he laughed.

"I know that. How are you feeling?"

"Hmm... better than yesterday I think. Its just ... WenWen is not here yet so ..."

"You are scared he might not come back? He promised you, didn't he? Don't you trust him? There is no way he would risk losing you again. Don't worry about that."

"I know and I do trust him... but I still feel like ... I don't know..."

"You feel insecure because of your past and that is understandable. It might take some time for you to fully lose this insecurity but sooner or later you will. Everything you have to do is to have faith in us and yourself. Bowen will come soon."

"Hmmm..." I hummed and looked out of the window.

"Is there something else troubling you? You can tell me everything. I might be able to help you a little with your worries. Come on, don't be shy. I am not only your psychologist but you father as well." Dad offered and I looked back at him.

"WenWen, he ... wanted to tell his parents about me...." I started.

"And I guess you did not want to... ?" He asked carefully and I nodded. "Xiao Zhan, they are your parents too. You might feel like that is not the case because you have us but you have to understand the fact that you are still their youngest child despite everything that happen. I know they made a mistake but you have to at least give them a chance to speak up and apologize. Its been 15 years now. I understand that for you its been not so long because your memory came back only recently but for them its been a long time. They did not have the luxury to forget everything like you did. They lived with the knowledge of your disappearance for 15 years and need to know the truth now."

"I know that ... I really do ... but ... I don't know how to confront them. I don't know what I have to do, how to react if they stand in front of me."

"Of course you don't because there is no right answer or reaction to that. You just have to let it happen and you will see yourself how you and your parents react. What did Bowen tell you about meeting them?"

"He said I have time until my birthday to prepare for the meeting. Then he will not keep it a secret any longer. Which means I don't have much time." I answered and heard dad laughing. 

"What is so funny?" I asked him confused.

"I don't think he said that only so you can prepare."

"What do you mean? Why else?"

"For this meeting... you cant really prepare yourself. You could imagine different scenarios and how you want to react to these but at the end it will be in vain. You cant predict what their exact reaction would be. You just have to let it happen." He explained.

"Why would my brother say that then?"

"To give you some more time to heal. A lot happened in the past days and weeks. He just wants you to take your time to recover. Moreover he knows you are not ready to meet them as your thoughts right now are a mess." Dad answered and smiled when he saw my face. "What? You feel betrayed?" He chuckled.

"Why did he not say so right away?" I pouted.  

"I don't know. I can only guess his motives. Xiao Zhan, he wants only the best for you but he cant keep lying to your parents. That is not fair to them and for him and you neither. I guess even now Bowen feels guilty. So take your time to recover and then ... face your fears."

"I not scared!" I told him but when he looked at me for a long, I pouted again. "Its not always good to be right, dad!" I mumbled and he laughed.

"Dad?"

"Hm?"

"What if ... what if they want to take me with them? Are they allowed to? Do I have to go with them?"

"You are almost 18, so you can decide where you want to be. They cant take you against your will. Nevertheless you should give them a chance. You could go back with them and visit the place where you were born and lived until everything went wrong. I think its a good thing to do that. It may even help you to recover more memories, the happy ones before you got kidnapped."

"I am not sure if I want to go..."

"Maybe not now but when you met and talked with them, you might change you mind."

"I got it. Thank you, Dad." I said and hugged him.

"You are welcome." He kissed my head and return the hug. Then someone knocked on the door and Mom came in.

"Kuan, FanXing is asking- ... Is this a father-son thing I am not allowed to interrupt?" She asked amused.

"If I say yes, what are you going to do, darling?" Dad asked back and she chuckled.

"Nothing. I cant win over a father-son-bond."

"Aw... and here I thought you would fight for me..." Dad complained.

"Me against Xiao Zhan? I will definitely lose. Moreover Yibo and FanXing would get mad at me and that is something I cant risk." She answered and I had to laughed. "See? Our son knows what I am talking about."

"Mom, what was with FanXing?" I asked her after I managed to stop laughing.

"Ah, right. FanXing I tired and wants Kuan to tell him a story. I tried to tell him one but he is asking specifically for you, Kuan."  

"Then I will go. I still need to get him to call me Dad. Xiao Zhan, is there something else you want to talk about?"

"No, I am fine. Go to FanXing." I said and he ruffled through my hair and left the room. 'I am not a kid...' I pouted inwardly.

"Xiao Zhan, want to spend some time in the front yard with me? I need to go through some papers for the university and would be happy if I don't have to be alone."

"Can I read a book?"

"What is that for a question?" She laughed. "Of course you can. Take whatever you need and meet me downstairs." She winked at me and left as well.

I quickly left the bed, went to the library to take a book and followed my mom into the front yard where we both spend time together. No one said a word and we both did our own things but I felt good like this. I felt her gaze on me from time to time and even saw her smiling. She was a good woman and mother.  

Just when I was about to start a new chapter I heard a faint voice screaming something. The voice sounded similar to WenWen so I looked up and realized that dad too joined us. He sat next to mom and stroke her womb while both were talking with each other. I watched their interactions and smiled.

Suddenly I saw something showing up at the corner of my eye and when I looked into the direction I barely managed to see something jumping at me before it started to lick over my face.

"Wh-what it this?" I shouted out in shock before that something, which turned out to be a dog, howled in to my ear. I quickly stood up and the dog was jumping up and down, trying to reach my face again. He howled and barked while jumping around, running through my legs which made me fall on the ground.

"Stop it. Please stop it..." I shouted and the dog ... obeyed. He stood in front of me, his face close to mine. He was panting and his tail wiggled like crazy while he stared at me with his dark brown eyes full of happiness.

"You ....." He somehow looked really familiar... "I know you ..." I stated and the dog barked in agreement. "Where do I know you from?"

"Try to remember, little brother." I heard WenWen's voice and saw him standing next to a tree watching us. He was back! Finally!

I looked closely at the dog. He looked like the dog from my first hypnosis, only bigger. My heart started to race. "He is ... my puppy, isn't he?" I asked my brother without letting the dog out of sight. He was still standing there, staring at me and wiggling his tail in a remarkable speed.

"That is right. You remember him?" Brother asked and I nodded.

"Yes. I brought so many street dogs home so they gifted him to me. In return I had to promise to not pick up any more dogs. I... He was still a baby when I got him. When did you grow so much?" I asked the dog who began to pant.

"He is waiting for you to call him." Brother said amused and I saw mom and dad joining my brother.

"I should call him?" I asked and slowly raised my hand. I carefully stroke his pretty and soft fur while seeing him getting impatient.

"How are you .... LanLan?" I asked him and suddenly he jumped on me again. I fell backwards on the ground and LanLan run around me, licking over my face again and again while howling loudly. When I wanted to stroke his fur, he run away only to come back shortly after that to jump on me.

This repeated every time I wanted to stand up.

"He should be very old by now but he still so energetic...Why wont he let me stand up?" I asked and WenWen laughed.

"Probably scared you going to leave him. Just cuddle him."

"I would but he is running away and playing hard to get!" I pouted before my brother came closer.

"Stop this game, buddy. Didn't you want to meet him? Come here now, LanLan!" Brother called him but my dog did not listen and howled.

"This guy ... I told him to be a good boy... LanLan! Come here now!" Brother tried again without success.  

"Come to me, LanLan. Let me cuddle you." I called him and he immediately run to me. He let me cuddle him for a while. I did not know I missed him. Hugging him felt so familiar. I loved this feeling of his soft fur on my skin.

I remembered how happy I was when they gave him to me. I took him everywhere. I slept with him, bathed with him, played with him and wanted to eat only when he was next to me. I even took him out for a walk, of course only with either Tiff or WenWen's parents.

"LanLan, its been a very long time..." I mumbled into his fur and he barked, licked my tears away, which I did not noticed were falling, before running away again, waiting for me to move.

"You want to play? Fine then!" I said, stood up and run after my dog while the others sat down on the bench and watched us.

"Be careful and do not overexert yourself!" Dad shouted towards me. In the last weeks and months we often went against the house rules ... Dad too. I think it was funny and asked myself if dad had noticed it.

It was difficult to catch my dog as he was not only fast but smart too.

"Why are you playing hard to get? Is this some kind of punishment?" I asked him and he barked before running away again. Of course I followed him but at some point I stopped and sat down on the ground. I would have loved to continuing playing with him but I suddenly did not feel good. I was kind of dizzy and it was a little difficult to breathe.

LanLan stopped running away and came back to me. He nudged my face with his snout and the started to bark before running to my brother. He snapped his shirt and pulled him towards my direction. Then he let go of him and howled before pointing his head towards me.

Dad jumped up and run to me. My brother quickly followed him. Mom could not run but still came as fast as possible.  

"Dad.... It hurts a little." I told him and he helped me up.

"Haikuan, what is with him?" Brother asked him worried and LanLan whined.

"That is what I meant earlier! He run too fast and needs rest. His heart is still recovering. Lets go into the living room. MianMian, call Yi Zhou for me, please."

"Right away." She said and walked away while they led me to the couch and I sat down. LanLan sat in front of me putting his head on my lap while looking up to me.

"I am better now." I stated but no one was convinced so I was not allowed to move until Dr. Wang arrived.

"Xiao Zhan, if you miss me you just have to call me and say it. No need to torture yourself." He greeted me before starting to examine me. "I don't know who you are but I need space to check on him." He said to LanLan.

"LanLan, come here!" Brother called him and my dog trotted reluctantly to him.

"Okay." Dr. Wang said when he was done. "You are fine but I advise you to not run too much until you fully recovered."

"Yi Zhou, his heart..?" Dad asked him worried and Dr. Wang smiled.

"Nothing happened. It did not worsened, no worries. Next time something like this happens, he just needs rest but he should not run like today. A little is fine but not too much. Xiao Zhan, do you take your medicine regularly?"

"Always." I answered truthfully and he nodded.

"That is good. If you take them regularly you will be fine soon."

"Dr. Wang, how long do I have to take them?"

"I am nor sure yet. We will see what the future brings. If something like this happens more often I fear you might take them for a long time. So you better take it easy. And Haikuan..-!" He looked at my Dad who looked back in anticipation.

"When I say he should take it easy, I don't mean for him to stay in his bed 24/7. Just for your information! Xiao Zhan, call me if he, or someone else, is overprotective. I will handle that."

I laughed. I really liked him. He was so funny. "Thank you. I will definitely call you." I told him and he winked at me.

"What the hell is going on?" Yibo called out after he entered the living room. "I was away just a few hours..." He said and sat next to me. Mom quickly explained the situation and Yibo sighed before taking my face in his. "If this goes on I will quit university and watch over you the whole day!" He warned me.

"Dream on, little brother!" Dad said and I giggled.

"I am fine, Yibo. Really! I can even prove it but...." I said and leaned before whispering in his ear. ".. we have to wait till we are alone!"

He stared at me and then sighed. "Just what am I going to do with you...." He mumbled and I grinned.

"I have many suggestions...-."

"Zhan!" He was clearly shocked, well ... not only him.

"Wow... I always thought Yibo was the dominant one ... Guess someone else is in control..." Dr. Wang said surprised and Yibo glared at him.

"You are wrong! Are you done here?"

"Not yet. As I am already here might as well share some good news too. Meng Yao is doing really good. He can already walk a little and is less in pain. Of course he needs to stay longer in hospital and he has not fully recovered yet but when he is, he will be as good as new." He said and I was really happy.

"Really? Then can we meet him?" I asked but unfortunately he shook his head.

"No, you cant. The reason for that ... you can ask Haikuan. I need to go now."

With that he left. I looked at Dad right away. "Dad? Why cant I meet him?"

"He suffered a lot while you both were in Changbai Mountains. Even more than you. He never lived a good live with the He family. And that night ... he suffered greatly, not only physically. He does not want to face you after what happened to him." He explained.

"Is he ... giving me the fault?"

"No! No, Xiao Zhan, that is not the reason. Its more like he is giving himself the fault for what happened to you. He knew about He Peng's fantasies about you. He tried to protect you in his own way but he failed. If he had gone to the police or would have tell anyone about this you might have not gone through your second kidnapping. That is the reason. He cant face you. Give him time. I, and Dr. Wu too, are having sessions with him regulary. Just give him time."

I could do nothing but accepting it and nodded my head. LanLan whined again and walked up to me, putting his head on my lap. "I am fine, LanLan. Don't worry." I said and scratched his head gently.

"This is LanLan?" Yibo asked and I nodded.

"Mhn! He is my dog, LanLan." I introduced him and then looked at my dog. "LanLan, this is Yibo."

LanLan cocked his head while staring at Yibo. I saw WenWen suppressing his laugh and looked at him confused.

"Why is he staring at me like that?" Yibo asked.

"He is checking you out." My brother answered and chuckled.

"Why would he?"

"Who knows...?" WenWen's eyes sparkled and I shook my head.

"Dad, I will go up and lay down for a while." I said and dad nodded.

"Yes, that would be good."

"Mom, can I have some of your herbal tea?" I asked my mom who smiled gently.

"Of course, Xiao Zhan. I will brew some right away."

"Is mine not good enough?" Dad asked me playfully and I smiled embarrassed.

"It is good but .... Mom's tastes better." I answered truthfully and heard Mom laughing in the kitchen.

"Stop laughing!" Dad complained.

"Make me!" Mom commented laughingly and Dad grinned.

"I cant wait to call her mine." He told us and now even I had to laugh. Then I took Yibo's hand and we left for our room with LanLan following us.

"I will take a shower." I told Yibo and left him with LanLan alone. Before I closed the door I could see them watching each other and I giggled.  

When I came out 15 Minutes later, Yibo and LanLan were still watching each other and I shook my head in amusement.

"Yibo, are you scared of dogs?" I asked him carefully.

"Not really. Its just I don't know him and want to see how he behaves." He answered.

"I think LanLan is doing the same. Try and caress him."

"Alright." He answered and raised his hand carefully. LanLan watched Yibo's every move but allowed my boyfriend to pat him.

"I think he is just like you. Being careful and seeing how you behave." I chuckled and saw the herbal tea on the desk.

"Mom was here already?"

"Yes, 5 minutes ago."

I took the cup and drunk everything in one go. "I love herbal tea." I stated happily before climbing on to the bed. The moment I laid down, LanLan jumped up the bed too and laid next to me.

"I guess you missed me just as much." I said and he licked over my face.

I closed my eyes and almost fell asleep when I felt that Yibo still was not next to me. I looked at him while he stood in the middle of the room watching me.

"Yibo? What is wrong?"

"Zhan, there are MianMian, my brother, your brother and FanXing... Now I even have to share you with a dog?" He complained and I laughed.

LanLan stood up and walked to the end of the bed while staring and Yibo.

"LanLan, go down and let me sleep with Zhan." Yibo asked the dog but the latter shook his head and barked.

"I cant speak your language. If you want to say you missed him.... I know that and I understand. But he is my boyfriend. You can use the whole day to spend time with him... At least at night let me have him too..." Yibo told him.

LanLan walked back to me and licked over my face a few times before going back to the end of the bed and laid down.

LanLan made space for Yibo and I laughed at my boyfriend's shocked face.

"What now? Are you coming or not?" I asked him and he smiled before joining me.

"Yibo? I love you?" I said and kissed him.

"I love you too."

"Are you not going to do something?" I asked him and he chuckled.

"We have a guest, Zhan. Now behave!" He said and even LanLan barked silently.

"Fine!" I said disappointed and snuggled up to my boyfriend before falling asleep.

I woke up the next day hearing a scream. I quickly opened my eyes and saw Yibo sitting on the floor.

"What are you doing?" I asked him amused.

"Me? I did nothing! LanLan pushed me!" He complained and I looked at the dog who stood on the bed watching Yibo.

"LanLan! Be good boy!" I told him and turned around to snuggled up to me.

"I need to leave for school soon. MianMian laoshi is already waiting for me." Yibo said and wanted to kiss me but LanLan pushed him.

"What is your problem?" He asked him irritated.

"Yibo, you should think carefully before making any promises." I laughed.

"What do you mean?"

"You told him yesterday he can spend the whole day with me while the night belongs to you. He is just claiming his right."

"Yibo, come down and eat your breakfast. MianMian wants to leave in 20 minutes!" I heard Dad calling my boyfriend who looked at LanLan and frowned.

"Listen up, LanLan. We are not done talking yet. I don't mind sharing Zhan with you but we need find a fair agreement. We will talk after I come back. Got it?" Yibo said to him and LanLan answered with a lick on his face.

"He likes you." I stated sleepy and earned a kiss on my lips from him.

"I like him too. Sleep some more. We will see us later. LanLan, your job is to take care of Zhan. Can you do that?" He asked LanLan and the dog barked in agreement. Then my boyfriend left and I closed my eyes again while LanLan laid next to me.  

We all had a lot of fun, especially now that LanLan was also here. FanXing was super excited having a dog in the house that mom got scared he might want to have one too. But thankfully FanXing himself explained it was too tiresome to care for bunnies and a dog.

One funny thing was that LanLan seemed to be scared of our bunnies. Everyone thought he would hunt them but every time one got near him he whined and run away. So one morning I sat down with him and let him sniff on a bunny. Soon he got used to them but he would never go close to a bunny on his own. My dog was so cute.

Yibo and LanLan understood each other well and one could see they liked each other, much to my brothers disappointment. He probably hoped for a war between them. Sometimes he really behaved like a kid, just like Yibo.

I was allowed to play with LanLan in the garden if I would not run. I complied and decided to stay inside the bunny house most of the time together with LanLan. FanXing and Yibo joined me often while my brother was with Dad and Mom most of the time.

My brother, dad and Yibo asked me a lot of times each day how I felt or if I was alright and slowly I got frustrated. But not only me, mom too. One day she lost it.

"ENOUGH!!" She almost screamed and we all flinched.

"MianMian... is every-" Dad started but she interrupted him right away.

"Don't you dare finish that sentence! Every few hours all of you would pester Zhan with questions like 'Are you okay?', 'How are you feeling?' or 'Is everything alright?' I cant hear it anymore and I know Xiao Zhan is thinking the exact same thing. Stop it, will you!?" She told them and I giggled.

"If something is wrong or he is feeling unwell, he will tell us. So please stop it now!" She pleaded and all of them were pretty embarrassed.

"Thank you, mom. I could not have said it any better." I said and she winked at me. After that speech of her they stopped asking me but I still felt their gazes on me.

Then one week was over and I had to give LanLan back. When my brother told me that LanLan had to go again after one week I was sad and disappointed. I wanted to keep him here, he was my dog after all. But I too understood that my brother had to bring him back. For a whole day I stopped talking and at some point WenWen pitied me enough to make a deal with his parents. What exactly he said I did not know but I heard him mentioning FanXing's name pretty often. At the end they agreed that LanLan would stay one week every month with me. I was so happy that I almost jumped on the bed but remembering my health I stopped this thought right away.

Today was the day of goodbye and I waved after WenWen's car. I was sad but I knew in one month I would have LanLan back here. I turned around and searched for my boyfriend but I only found my mom.

"Mom, where is Yibo?"

"I think I saw him entering the library earlier. Try your luck there." She answered with a smile and I nodded before making my way up to the 2nd floor. When I entered the room I saw him standing in front of the window and reading a book whose title I could not see. When he saw me he put the book back into the shelf and walked up to me.

"What were you reading?" I asked him curiously but he just smiled.

"Nothing important. Did they left?"

"Unfortunately yes...."

"Hey, LanLan will come back next month."

"But ... he is my dog! Why do I have to give him back? He should stay with me..." I said and he nodded his head slowly.

"You are right. Then come. Lets go to your parents and tell them to give back your dog." He suggested and I glared at him.

"That is not what I mean!"

"If you want LanLan with you right now, that is the only option. Zhan, sooner or later you will have to meet your parents anyway."

"I know! But better later than sooner." I answered and he smiled at me. "What?" I asked suspiciously.

"You are not denying it anymore." He chuckled.

"You! Stop teasing me! Stop it!" I hit his chest repeatedly and he walked back until we fell on an armchair.

"I am not teasing you. I just stated facts. Don't be mad..." He pleaded. I huffed and together we sat there while I leaned my back on his chest.

"What did you read earlier?"

"Why do you want to know?" He asked amused.

"Just curious..."

"What if it was a book about ...." He stopped and I got impatient.

"About what?"

"About sex?" He ended his sentence and I hit him.

"Are you teasing me again? Why are you so mean today?!" I asked him and he laughed.

"Don't be mad." He pleaded again before his hand disappeared under my shirt stroking over my stomach.

"What are you doing?"

"Hm? Just caressing you beautiful stomach."

"Why? There is nothing interesting. Go and caress mom's womb." I told him and he chuckled.

"That would be weird caressing my sister-in-law's womb..."

"No, it wouldn't. I would do it if I could. I would like to feel the baby... You have the chance. Use it."  

"No, I like your stomach much more. By the way... do you remember by now where you get this from?" He asked and gently stroke over the scar I had on my belly. I almost forgot  the two scars.

"This one, I don't.... but I remember how I got the one right above my bottom..." I answered. "It was when I escaped her and that house. I tripped a few times and this is the result."

"I am sorry. I shouldn't have asked."

"Its okay. Its my past ... I cant change it. The scars do not even hurt." I smiled and kissed his cheek.

"But the one above you bottom...." He started and I immediately jumped off of his lap.

"Don't! You know that I am very sensitive there!" I warned him and he chuckled.

"Yes. Yes. I got it." He said and stood up. "Lets go down and see if brother started preparing the Dinner. I am hungry."

"Me too!"

"You are always hungry." He laughed.

"You are teasing me again!!"

"Like I said, I am just stating the facts."

I pouted and run ahead while my boyfriend followed me in peace.  

5 Months later, October 3th

We sat at the dining table eating our breakfast made by mom and were looking at FanXing who kept on giggling the whole morning. No one knew why.

"Kuan... what is wrong with him?" Mom asked after the breakfast worriedly.

"I am not sure. Maybe he was under the sun for too long. In the last weeks he spend way too much time with the bunnies...Kindergarten is closed too." Father answered while observing my little brother.

"FanXing, maybe you should stay at home for a while. Let your big brother care for the bunnies." Mom suggested and I chuckled.

"I cant. FanXing prohibited me to go there. He told me he wants to train the bunnies and it should be a surprise."

"Big brother is right! I am still ... training them! I will be the only one caring for them." FanXing announced.

"But I miss my little WangJi. I bet he is very lonely without me..." Dad tried to change FanXing's mind but the little boy shook his head.

"No! He is not lonely. There are a lot of other bunnies. And I am there too." FanXing said.

"But I am lonely..." Dad tried again and mom laughed.

"How about this... FanXing, you and Kuan will go and have some fun today. FanXing will chose where you will go." Mom suggested and FanXing agreed to it immediately.

"Yes! Mom, you too! Big brother, you will come too, right? And what it with Uncle Wen and Uncle Bo?" The little boy asked excitingly.

"No, my son. Uncle Wen will be visiting his parents until tomorrow, Uncle Bo is still on the school trip and will come back tomorrow morning. By the way, is it okay to pick Yibo up tomorrow, Bowen?"

"I would love to." Brother smiled.

"Thank you very much, Bowen. But don't provoke him, please..." She pleaded and WenWen laughed.

"FanXing, I cant go anywhere for too long as I am getting tired very quickly with this fat womb of mine. So I need company and want Xiao Zhan with me. So there is only Kuan left. Kuan, is it okay for you to spend some time alone with FanXing?" She asked him and he winked at her.

"Of course." Dad said and I leaned to mom without touching her.

"Are you trying to get FanXing to spend some more time with dad?" I whispered and she giggled.

"Am I that obvious? Well it was your father's idea. He wants FanXing to finally call him Dad." She whispered back and we both looked at the little boy making plans with Father.

"Then lets go to a farm. I want to ride a horse and milk a cow and catch a chicken! Lets go right away!" FanXing said and wanted to run towards the front door but stopped when I called him.

"Stop right there. First you will take a bath! Then you will dress yourself properly, you are still wearing your pajama, and only then you can go with Dad." I told him and he sighed before going up the stairs.

"Xiao Zhan, please help him choosing the clothes or else he will wear something ridiculous again." Mom stated worried and I laughed before following my little brother.  

After FanXing took a bath and dressed himself with the clothes I chose, we walked down again and I bid goodbye to my Dad who took FanXing by the hand before both left to have some fun.

"I don't know when we will be back but properly pretty late. MianMian, don't wait for us and go to sleep early. Bowen, thank you for picking up my brother tomorrow. And Xiao Zhan, you too. Don't go to bed too late. See you all tomorrow the latest" Dad said and then both left.

"Well... I think its time to go too."WenWen announced and I sighed.

"You have too?" I asked disappointed and he chuckled.

"I have to be honest. I somehow really like it when you cling on me so much. I will be back tomorrow. Don't miss me too much."

"I know... as long as you come back, I am fine with it." I said and he gave me a hug.

"I will always come back. Have some fun with MianMian. See you tomorrow. Love you."

"Okay, love you too. But Ge! Promise me to not provoke my boyfriend when you pick him up."

"I promise! Just a little bit of teasing, nothing more. Don't worry." He winked and I rolled my eyes in amusement before left. Then I turned to my mom who smiled at me.

"He will be back tomorrow. Actually, literally everyone will be back tomorrow. So for today I hope we can have some fun as well. How about a movie and a cup of herbal tea?" She asked and I nodded.

"Sure. If your are not too tired to make me a cup?" I asked unsure eyeing her womb.

"That will be no problem." She said and walked back inside with me following her. Her womb was round and big and she was almost due. On October the 18th, in two weeks, the baby will be born and I cant wait for another little sibling next to FanXing.

While Mom prepared the tea and even took out some cake, I chose a few movies I wanted to watch. We sat down on the couch with enough distance between each other and our Mother-Son day started.

Its been 5 Months now, after all the drama in my life. Dr. Wang said my health was back to normal and I did not have to use the medication anymore if I promised to to be careful as it was possible that my heart could get a relapse. I was not allowed to run for too long and should avoid everything that might give me a panic attack. That means I had to avoid getting too close to women and avoid to touch them as I was still scared of them.

Except of Mom, Xuan Lu and Ziyi.

Dad said the reason for that was because I got used to them over the time and started to trust them. And it was true. I trusted them wholeheartedly but despite that I still hated to touch them. Any touch would made me panic. So I avoided it.

But except that I was a normal boy who will turn 18 in two days. Then I would be an adult. Finally!

After hours of watching movies while eating pizza we ordered and Mom's self made cake we decided to call it a day. We cleaned up everything and went up in our rooms. It was 7 pm and I did not want to go to sleep yet. So I decided to go into my hobby room and continuing drawing on the biggest canvas I had. The one dad bought me when we first went out for shopping two years ago.

In the middle of the room stood an easel with a finished painting of mine under a piece of clothes. It was the painting of PeiXin. I had not the courage to look at it too often. First I wanted to know what happened to him but the police was still investigating. Officer JJ kept us posted.

Two hours later I heard something falling down downstairs so I decided to check it out. Sometimes mom would let something fall accidentally and it was not possible for her to pick it up again duo to her heavy womb.

"Mom? Are you here? Did you let something fall again?" When I arrived in the living room I looked around but could not find anything until I heard her voice.

"Xiao Zhan...."

"Mom? Where are you?" I called for her.

"I am here......" I heard her saying and when I turned around I saw her lying on the floor.

"Mom!!" I quickly run to her. "Are you okay? What happened?" I asked worried.

"I just ... wanted to take my phone .... in case your father would call me. But I lost the balance. I twisted my foot lightly and fell down. It hurts ..." She explained and then widened her eyes.

"What is wrong?" I asked her and she tried to look down on her.

"I... my water broke... Xiao Zhan. I cant move... quickly call the ambulance." She said and stroke her womb gently.

I took out my phone, dialed the number of the ambulance and turned on the speaker.

"Hello, what is your emergency?" A male voice said and I nervously hold the phone in my hand.

"My mom... she twisted her foot and fell down. She... is 9 months pregnant. Her water broke. We need help!"

"Alright. Calm down, boy. Where are you? Give us your address."

"We are at home. The address is XXX."

"Okay, we got it. We will send an ambulance right away. How is you mother now?"

"I don't know. She is still laying on the floor. She told me she cant move. Please come quickly." I pleaded.

"The ambulance is on his way and needs at least 15 minutes. Listen here, its not good for your mom to lay on the hard floor. You need to keep her warm. Help her to get up." The man said and I widened my eyes.

"But I ... I cant!" I told him desperate.

"What do you mean you cant? Its easy. You just need to help her to get up. Take her hands or shoulders and help her. That is important for her and the baby." He said firmly and I looked at my mom fearfully. As I had the phone on speaker she heard everything and smiled.

"Don't worry. It will not harm us if we lay here for another 15 Minutes. You don't have to touch me." She said and smiled but I could see she was freezing.

"Excuse me Miss, but that is not right. If you keep that position it will be only harder for you to give birth to the baby. It will also harm the health of you and the baby if you keep laying on the hard and cold floor. The ambulance will arrive in about 12 minutes and ....-" He explained but mom interrupted him.

"Keep quiet!! I said we will be okay! Don't force my son to do something he is scared of!" She yelled at him before smiling back at me. "Its okay, Xiao Zhan. I am fine."

I know she wanted to protect me but I could not handle the fact that she and the baby would suffer because of me. Tiff suffered enough and even died protecting me. What if history repeats itself? I did not want that!!

I put the phone next to her on the floor and walked closer. The closer I got the more I panicked but I needed to protect them. I was the only one who could help them right now. The call handler already said both will suffer if they kept laying there.

"Xiao Zhan! Stop it! I told you its okay. You don't have to-" She stopped when I grabbed her by the shoulder and tried to help her up. But she was just to heavy and I was only able to make her sit on a cushion. I quickly took the blanket from the couch and put it on her. I should have done that from the beginning.

Then I sat there staring at my hands. I heard my mom cutting the call and dialing another number. She was talking with someone but I did not really listen. Then we sat there. At the corner of my eyes I could see her stroking her baby womb but her eyes were on me.

I kept on staring at my hands. 'I touched her .... I touched a woman... My heart is racing a little... will I be okay? I hope I will ... I touched my mom, I really touched a woman....' My head was spinning slightly as I was trying to understand what I did earlier.

Just then the ambulance came and the paramedics quickly run to my mom to check on her. When they were done after 10 minutes they put her on a stretcher and rolled her outside while I was still sitting there.

"Xiao Zhan? Wait! My son is still inside! Xiao Zhan?" Mom called for me and I somehow managed to stand up before following them outside.  

"Are you okay, boy?" A paramedic, a female paramedic, asked me and wanted to touch me but I backed away, bumping right into the arms of someone else.

"Bring the patient into the hospital." He said and the paramedics bowed.

"Yi Zhou, thank you for coming. Help Xiao Zhan. He is scared and shocked right now." Mom said and Dr. Wang nodded.

"Don't worry. We will follow you in my car. I will give him a check up. I already called Haikuan and he will arrive in 2 hours as he out of town with FanXing."

"Thank you. Xiao Zhan, go with him and let him check on you.I will wait for you." She said to me and I nodded slowly. Then they left and Dr. Wang escorted me to his car before we followed the ambulance.

"Talk to me, Xiao Zhan. How are you feeling?" He asked me worried.

"Weird. I .... touched her.... I touched mom.... my hear is racing... is it a relapse?" I asked back and he shook his head.

"Not necessarily. It can be because you are scared right now." He explained and I sighed in relieve.

"Dr. Wang.... When that paramedic wanted to touch me... I was scared and almost panicked.... but I touched mom ....What is going on?"

"Lets talk about that when you father arrives. In the hospital I will give you a check up and then we will look for you mom." He said and I nodded in agreement.

Once in the hospital I got a check up and Dr. Wang informed me that everything was alright. I did not had a relapse. Hearing that I was relieved but soon got worried again.

"Where is mom?" I asked him and he smiled.

"On her way to the delivery room. Follow me." He said and walked ahead. When we arrived at the delivery room we heard my mom arguing with the doctor in charge.

"I told you I will not go in there." She said and probably tried to look strictly but I could see she was in pain and very tired.

"Miss, we have to deliver the baby now!" The doctor said and it sounded like he said it a lot of times already.

"Mom? Why are you not going into the delivery room?" I asked her worried.

"Xiao Zhan? You are here! Cant believe I will ask you this and I hope you will not tell the others but .... How are you feeling? Are you okay?" She asked worried and I laughed. 

"I am totally fine. But you need to go in there now...." I told her but she shook her head.

"I cant.... I am scared. I don't want to be alone in there. I was alone while giving birth to FanXing and it was so scary. What time is it? When is Kuan coming?" She asked Dr. Wang.

"It 11:30 pm. Haikuan needs at least one and a half hours to get here." Dr. Wang answered and the doctor in charge shook his head.

"We cant wait that long. We need to get the baby out immediately. She is already in pain and if she gets more tired we have to do an Caesarean section."

"Are you deaf or something? I just told you I will not-" Mom was about to yell at the poor doctor but I interrupted her.

"Mom! Stop yelling at him, he is only doing his job. I am here! I will go in with you. But you have to deliver the baby now!"I told her and she looked at me in surprise.

"You... want to go in with me? Is that ... okay with you?"

"It is. Don't worry too much. Dad will come soon together with FanXing. Lets go now." I told her and heard the doctor in charge sighing relieved before opening the door to the delivery room.

Then everything happened quite fast. Mom was laying there, pressing hard while trying not to look scared at all. She was even screaming in frustration so I carefully walked up to her and took her hand hesitantly. I panicked just a little but ignored it in order for mom to stay calm.

"Xiao Zhan, please .... it hurts ... I am tired...." Mom mumbled and I managed to squeeze her hand.

"Stay strong, mom. You gave birth to FanXing already. He is a beautiful and healthy young boy. Now its time for our little sibling to see the world. Keep pressing." I told her and she smiled weakly.

"To be honest... I am quite happy that its you who is next to me..."

"Why that?" I asked her amused.

"Look at me! If you Father sees me like this, he will probably get scared and refuse to have more children." She said and stared to press again while squeezing my hand.

"You want more?" I asked her.

"Hell yes! You not?" She asked back out of breath

"Me? I love kids. The more the merrier. Which means... lets keep your current situation a secret from dad."

Mom started laughing and then concentrated to press harder like the midwife told her.

"Come oooooooon, babyyyyy" She screamed and pressed harder until we heard a loud crying noise and mom fell back on the bed totally exhausted.

"You did it, mom!" I told her and she smiled weakly.  

 "Excuse me?" The midwife walked up to me and I backed away. "Don't be scared. I just want to ask you if you want to cut the umbilical cord." She wanted to know and I looked at mom.

"Go ahead! Someone has to do it and I would be happy if you are the one." She said with a tired smile.

So I cut it carefully before going back to my mom. A minute later the midwife came to us and put my little sibling into my mom's arms. We could not see the gender as it was wrapped in a towel but the midwife revealed it right away.

"Congratulations on you new born son. He was born on October the 4th at 12:17 am."

"What a beautiful boy... welcome to the world, darling ..." Mom said and then fell asleep.  

I woke up a few hours later at 7 am when I felt familiar lips on mine and I smiled. "You are back?" I asked him sleepy.

"Mhn. I survived the car ride with your brother and now I am back. Good morning, Zhan. Did you sleep well?" He asked me and I nodded before getting up. Right after mom fell asleep they took my little brother away and mom was brought into a private room. Dr. Wang asked me if I want to sleep with her in that room but I decline. Everyone could just step into the room and that scared me. So Dr. Wang suggested that I would sleep in his office where no one would enter without his permission. I gladly accepted and asked him to watch my mom until dad arrived.

Before that he wanted to try something and let a female nursed coming closer to me. I knew what is plan was and allowed it. But the closer she got the more I panicked until Dr. Wang suddenly said it was enough and send the nurse away instantly. I slowly calmed down.

"I guess you are still scared to get closer and touch women. Except you mother." He stated and I nodded too. I guess I need to ask dad about my current situation later.

"Mom?" I asked Yibo after coming back from my deep thoughts and he smiled.

"Still sleeping. The doctors said she will sleep for a long time. Brother is with her and FanXing too. For now we will go back home. You need sleep and I cant wait to cuddle you."

"What is with the baby?"

"You saw him already. He will not run away. Lets go home. Your brother is waiting for us. Come."

And with that I left with my boyfriend. WenWen drove us home where I climbed into the bed without changing the clothes. I was just too tired. When I slept enough I will eat and then go back to the hospital. I could see the baby only for a short time and that was not acceptable.  

"Zhan... don't you think its time to get up? How long do you intent to sleep?" I heard Yibo's voice while he shook my shoulders gently.

"5 more minutes. You said yourself I need more sleep...." I said and turned around.

"Well... yes, I did. But that was yesterday morning. We have 9 am now. I think you slept long enough now."

I opened my eyes instantly and looked at him in surprise

"Yes, you slept over 24 hours. Take a shower before coming down for breakfast. Then we will go back to the hospital." He said.

I got up reluctantly and walked towards the shower

"And Zhan....?" He called me and when I turned around I saw him walking up to me, pushing me gentle against the wall and then kissing me passionately. 'Today is great morning. I missed him so much' I thought and pulled him closer.

After about two minutes he let go of my lips and moved his next to my ears.

"Happy birthday, bunny." He whispered and bit me lightly before he let me continue my way towards the shower.

After the breakfast we quickly cleaned up and walked towards Yibo's bike. My boyfriend started the motor and rode off while I cling onto him as much as I can.

"Let me breathe a little, will you?" He shouted amused against the wind and I reluctantly loosened my grip.

Once we arrived we walked up to mom's room. In front of it Yibo stopped and turned around to me.

"Ready?" He asked and I nodded.

"Of course. Why wouldn't I? Cant wait to see the baby." I said before he opened the door and let me go in first.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" Once I stood in the middle of the room everyone inside congratulated me and I was visibly shocked.  

Everyone was there. Mom, Dad, FanXing, WenWen, Dr. Wang, Xuan Lu, Ziyi, Paul, Ji Yang and Yibo. The only one who was missing was the baby. I was too surprised to say something right away so everyone laughed and waited.

"Ah... that is.... Wow..... I mean, thank you." I stuttered embarrassed and Yibo hugged me from behind.

"No need to me embarrassed." He said and kissed my cheeks. Then dad walked up to me and gave me a tight hug.

"Happy 18th birthday, Xiao Zhan. You can call yourself an adult now but for me you are still a child." He said and I pouted.

"But I am an adult now!" I insisted and he laughed.

"I know. But two years is too less for me. So let me call you a child some more, alright?" He asked and I sighed inside his chest.

"Okay. But not for too long." I told him and he chuckled before kissing my forehead.

"Promise." He said and let go off me. "How about we all will give you our presents? MianMian and me first!" He said and I raised my brows.

"You gave me a little sibling already. That is more than enough." I said and both of them looked at each other.

"If you say so .... at least look at your present once. If you still think like that, you can give it back." Mom said while sitting on her bed. I nodded and they gave me an envelope. I opened it and started to read the letter inside.

Dear Xiao Zhan,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been offered a spot in the class of 2020 for the University of XXX.

After reviewing your replication and all the supporting documents we have determined that you are exactly that kind of a student that we are looking for to carry on the University of XXX tradition.

Attached to this letter you will find a full admissions package, along with specific information on how to accept this offer. We ask you to respond within 4 weeks as there are many other candidates who are waiting for any unaccepted spots.

After accepting our offer, you may choose your academic subject.

Once again congratulations. We hope to hear from you soon.

I stared at the application letter for about two minutes.

"You know what... forget what I said earlier. A little sibling is definitely not more than enough. But this gift certainly is." I said and smiled brightly.

Everyone started to laugh while I run up to my dad and hugged him once again.

"Thank you soo much... Thank you, dad. Thank you too, mom." I said happily.

"Xiao Zhan might have a little gift for you too, Haikuan. MianMian too." Dr. Wang said and dad raised his brow while looking at me.

"This... don't be happy too much too early, dad. Its just ... I can do it with mom only for now." I explained.

"Do what?" He wanted to know and I let go of him, slowly walked up my mom and hugged her carefully after taking a long and deep breath. I felt a little uncomfortable but I hope I will get used to it soon.

Dad widened his eyes in shook, actually every except Mom, Dr. Wang and me did so.  

"Xiao Zhan, you...?!" Dad stared at mom and me with open mouth.

I let go of mom again and stepped back before turning to the others.

"It just happened like this." I said and Dr. Wang chuckled before explaining the happenings of the last two days.

In the meantime Yibo hugged me. "You did great. That was only the first step." He said and I giggled.

"Does that mean I cant hug him?" I heard Ziyi asking Dr. Wang who nodded at her.

"Yes. For now he can only hug MianMian. Even during that he feels uncomfortable but after time it will go away. What do you think, Haikuan?"

"You are right. Xiao Zhan was together with MianMian everyday. He knows everything about her and trust her. That is why he is not scared of her anymore. For now MianMian is the only exception I would say." Dad explained and smiled at me.

"Oh... got it!" Ziyi said and we all looked at her. "That means I have to be with Xiao daily and tell him everything about me so he can get used to me and trust me wholeheartedly. Xiao Zhan, you want to move in with me? Or shall I move in with you?" Ziyi asked me and I laughed out loud.

"Dream on!" Yibo told her off. "I am against it and I don't think Ji Yang is really happy about your suggestion."

Ji Yang nodded and frowned at his girlfriend.

"Okay, fine. Don't be mad, honey. We all can just meet each other often once Xiao Zhan goes to University too. Stop frowning." Ziyi told her boyfriend and kissed his lips to please him. It worked and Ji Yang nodded with a smile.  

"How about we continue with our gifts?" Xuan Lu suggested amused and everyone nodded.

From Xuan Lu I got a voucher for a cooking class with only males in it. Paul, Ziyi and Ji Yang gifted me many new canvases in different sizes and paint. I was really happy about it as I don't have any left.

"Big Brother, I will give you my gift another day! Its not finished yet. Don't be mad..." FanXing said and I picked him up and kissed his cheeks multiple times.

"Who can get mad at you? I will wait patiently." I said to him and the little boy giggled.

"Now its my turn." WenWen said and gave me an envelope as well. I opened it and took out a voucher for driving classes.

"Driving classes?" I asked surprised.

"Yes. I know you ride with Yibo almost every time. But wouldn't it be a good idea being able to drive a car? Don't be mad at me for saying this but I cant accept it if you want to learn riding a bike. Its too dangerous." He said and I nodded before hugging him

"Thank you, Ge! I would love to learn driving a car." I said and he smiled while hugging me back.

"I have a gift as well!" Dr. Wang said and I let go of my brother to look at him in surprise. "What? Am I not allowed to?" He pouted and everyone laughed.

"You are, Yi Zhou." Haikuan assured him and I nodded.

"Good! Let me get it. Wait a moment!" He said and left the room after ruffling through my hair. He came back a minute later and he was not alone.

"Meng Yao!?" I called out in shock.

My friend was sitting in a wheelchair and smiled at me nervously. "Happy Birthday, Xiao Zhan."

"How are you? Why are you sitting in a wheelchair? You cant walk?" I asked him and he smiled embarrassed.

"I am fine. I can still walk. The wheelchair is only because I overdid it during the therapy yesterday. But tell me... how are you?" He asked and I saw he was still feeling guilty.

"As you can see I am more than just fine. You don't have to feel guilty. Its true that you wasn't able to prevent my kidnapping but you protected me during our stay in that house and also called my Father. You suffered greatly while I was just happy that it was no me who had to go through that much pain. I am sorry for that." I apologized but he shook his head.

"No need to feel sorry. Its normal to think like this. I am just happy that you and me, that we both survived this. My adoption was reversed too which means I have nothing to do with that family anymore. Lets just forget about this and move one, shall we?" Meng Yao suggested and I nodded in agreement.

"Its been over 5 months now. How long do you have to stay in the hospital?" I asked him.

"I will be released next week but have to come back regularly for the therapy."  

"Then.... We will meet at university?" I wanted to know but he shook his head.

"I heard you will attend it soon and I am very happy about that. But I will not go there anymore." He said and I was disappointed.

"Then what are you going to do?" Yibo asked him and Meng Yao smiled.

"I got a call from the director of the Lotus Orphanage. He apologized that he could not stop the adoption duo to his stay in the hospital. He was against it from the beginning but Mr. Cheng decided on his own and the director could not cancel it anymore as everything was done legal.

When he called me he also offered me a place in the orphanage so I could work and teach there and in future, if I want to, take it over. For now I would be the assisting director. I gladly accepted that offer as I spend all my happy days there.

And now  I can prevent cases like me to repeat itself. I will investigate every family and check if there suitable to adopt one of the kids." He explained with a smile.

"That sounds great. I am pretty sure you can handle that well. If you allow it, we would like to visit you from time to time." Yibo said.

"Sure! I would love that."

"Good. Then its decided. But .... Meng Yao, I have a question...." Yibo then started and Meng Yao raised his brows.

"What is it?" He asked curiously.

"Hmm .... is there a reason that Dr. Wang is stroking you shoulder every now and then?" Yibo asked him amused but looked at Dr. Wang who, and I am really not joking, blushed.

Everyone in the room then stared at Dr. Wang's hand on Meng Yao's shoulder, holding it softly.

"Yi Zhou? Is there something you want to tell us?" Dad asked him amused.

"What? Oh...? Ehh.... Well..... Meng Yao and I .... we decided to ... try it out. Dating, I mean .... " Dr. Wang stuttered while both culprits were blushing.

"Trying it out, huh?" I asked and giggled seeing them blushing harder. "How come?"

"It just happened..... we were together the last 5 months and ... realized we have a lot in common. I also got used to him around me, caring for me.... and when he asked me if he want to start dating ... I accepted." Meng Yao explained shyly.

"Wait!! Dr. Wang  asked  you  !?" Yibo shouted in surprise and earned a glare from Dr. Wang.

"Yeah, I did! Do you have a problem with that? You rejected me the whole time and even got yourself a cute and beautiful boyfriend! Did you think I would stay single forever and cry about our never existing relationship? Dream on! I want to be happy too!" Dr. Wang said to my boyfriend.

"Hey, calm down. I am happy for you and  Meng Yao. I am so proud of you, Dr. Wang." Yibo said and winked at Meng Yao.

"You!! Come Meng Yao, we need to go now." Dr. Wang said annoyed and rolled the still blushing Meng Yao out of the room while the rest of us laughed loudly.

When we calmed down everyone started to talk, except me. I was still waiting for Yibo's gift. Usually he would be the first one next to my parents to give me one. This time he didn't and I was disappointed.

I kept waiting and even looked at him demonstratively but he just smiled when he saw that continued talking with the others.

I don't want to be rude. Its not like I am greedy and want a present no matter what. Its just .... I don't know. I don't really care about getting a present from my friends and Dr. Wang. But Yibo is different. He is my boyfriend and I really wanted one from him.

When he still did not give me one 2 hours later I got even more disappointed, even a little bit upset.

He seemed to notice my mood and looked at me worriedly.

"What is wrong, Zhan?" He asked me and I looked away. "Zhan?"

I ignored him. I know I am childish but.... Its my birthday so its allowed.

"Zhan, did I do something wrong?" He continued asking.

"Okay guys, how about we bring in the youngest family member in?" Mom then said and when everyone cheered, dad wanted to pick the little one up. But I stopped him.

"I will go, dad. Can I?"  

"Of course. He is at the infant ward." He answered with a smile. I nodded and left the room.

I just walked a few meters before Yibo, who followed me, shoved me against the wall. I looked anywhere except his eyes.

"You know how it works, don't you? Before you did not tell me what is wrong with you, we will stay here like this!"

"Yibo, I need pick up the baby." I said and tried pass him but without success.

"You can. After you told me why you are so mad at me."

"Who said I am mad?"

"You are not? Then why are you avoiding me?"

"Where is my gift?" I asked him directly and could have slept myself. Yibo chuckled.

"That's it? That is why you mad? Because I did not gave you your gift yet?"

"So you have a gift?" I asked him while looking into his eyes.

"Its my boyfriends birthday! Of course I have one." He laughed and I frowned.

"Then give it to me!" I pouted and he shook his head before kissing my lips.

"Not now. I will give it to you at home." He said and let go of me.

"But I want it now!" I insisted.

"Zhan, I think its better to wait till we are at home. I promise I will give it to you then." He said again but I shook my head.

"Now! Or .... is it because you have no gift for me yet? If you want to tell me it is at home, I will not believe you. You could have give it to me this morning but you did not. If you say you forgot to give it then I also will not believe you. There is no way you would congratulate me and then forgetting to give me the gift. So?"

I know I was really super childish right now but I did not care. Getting a gift from my boyfriend was important to me. What could it be? A car? Then it would be naturally he could not give it to me this morning as my brother did not gift me the voucher for driving lessons yet. But then .... Yibo has no money for a car and if he would have get it from dad it would not be a gift only from Yibo anymore.

Yibo stared at me and I stared back. If this was a staring contest I will win.

"Yibo, I want my gift now. Please giv-" Yibo stopped me from talking by kissing me hard. I blinked a few times before realizing the situation. Was he trying to distract me so I would not ask for my gift anymore? No way he will succeed.

"Yibo, this will not work. I want my gift now. Stop trying to distract me!" I said after I managed to move my lips out of his reach.

"I am not trying to distract you. You want your gift now? Fine, I will give it to you then. Here and now!" He said and kissed my neck while his hand opened my pants.

'What is he doing? We are in public right now and he is still teasing me?' I asked myself before trying to push Yibo away.

"Yibo, stop it. When someone sees this it will be embarrassing! Take your hand out of my pants! Yibo!" I said and gritted my teeth when his hand softly stroke over my private part.  

"Why stopping? You wanted your gift now. I am only granting that wish" He said and squeezed it.

"AH! No, stop it! What do you mean?" I asked out of breath while trying my best to shove him away.

"You birthday gift is me granting your biggest wish. You want that gift now, so be it. I don't really mind where I sleep with you. As long as we are together we can sleep everywhere. Even if I think it would be the best to do it behind closed doors in our house." He explained and sucked my neck.

'What did he say? Sleep with me? Today? Here?' I thought shocked.

"What? Shocked to say something? You look so cute right now .... I will give you one last chance! You want your gift now or do you prefer to get it at home when we are alone?" He whispered in my ears while stopping every movement until I made my decision.

"Ho-Home. I want it at home, Yibo. Please!" I said quickly. He chuckled, licked my earlobe once and then helped me to straighten my clothes. He kissed my forehead and stepped back.

"Just when it got exciting you stop....." We heard a voice and when we turned around we saw HaoXuan leaning against the wall observing us.

"Did you have fun?" Yibo glared at him and he chuckled.

"Not really. It would be more fun if I had the chance to do this with my boyfriend as well..." He sighed.

"And you don't?" Yibo asked.

"You know nothing. Bowen and I kissed a few times but whenever I intent to do more he runs away."

Yibo laughed at this statement and even I had to giggle.

"I never knew my brother is a shy person." I thought out loud and HaoXuan started to laugh.

"If you only knew.... Whenever I try my move he gets shy. But he looks cute that way." He said and winked at us.

"Hey, HaoXuan. Do you have a gift for Zhan? Its his birthday today." Yibo suddenly said and looked at my boyfriend confused.

"I know. But I don't know what to gift him so.... I don't have one. Xiao Zhan, just tell me your wish and I will grant it." HaoXuan offered and I frowned. I did not really have a wish he could grant.

"I don't-" I started but Yibo interrupted me.

"I can tell you his wish!" He said and looked at HaoXuan confidently while the latter raised his brows.

"Tell me then."

"Zhan and I want to be alone tonight. You would do us a big favor when you can keep Mr. Li away from us. You can benefit from it too."

"Oh? And how?" HaoXuan wanted to know.

"You have a whole night to ... make Mr. Li yours. Talk to him, confront him, seduce him .... do whatever you think is right. We dont mind as long as Zhan and I can be alone." Yibo explained and HaoXuan smirked.

"Well... that sounds like a good plan, to be honest. I too think it is time to confront my lovely boyfriend. But .... is that ... really your wish, Zhan?" He looked at me and waited for an answer.

I love my brother very much. I would never do something that harms him. Never!!

"Its my wish too." I said shyly and saw how HaoXuan grinned while rubbing his hands together.

"Then I will to my very best. See you in MianMian's room." He said and left.

What? Don't look at me like that! I want to be alone with my boyfriend. I wanted him to sleep with me for a long time but he said I was not ready. Now I was it and I would never let anything prevent us from uniting. My overprotecting brother included.

Moreover! Like I said I would never harm my brother in any way. I know WenWen loves HaoXuan a lot but he is too scared to go a step further after his first and last relationship failed. I could see how crazy HaoXuan was about my brother and he too would never to something to hurt WenWen.

I felt a little bit guilty but I wished HaoXuan all luck on earth in order to make WenWen his. I know my brother needs someone like HaoXuan in his life.

"Lets pick up the baby!" I said to my boyfriend.

"Zhan, you just sold your brother. You know that, don't you?" Yibo asked me amused.

"I did not sell him! I just helped him to have another chance to go out of his shell. He better take it!" I insisted and walked ahead with a laughing Yibo following me.  

Everyone adored the little boy I had in my arms. FanXing on the other hand was not happy about the fact that he had to share his big brother with someone else and he showed it openly.

"FanXing, he is your little brother. Don't behave like that and greet him."Dad told him and FanXing pouted.

"FanXing, come here." I said to him and he reluctantly came closer but kept his eyes on the ground.

"You know I love you, right?" I asked him.

"Mhn. I know." He answered.

"And you love me too, right?"

"I do."

"And you are really happy about the fact that you have a big brother, right?"

"I definitely do!"

"Then... don't you think the little boy in my arms would feel even more delighted to have two big brothers at once? Two big brothers who loves him just as much?" I asked him and then he looked up to me.

"Now that you say that ... you are my big brother. And I will be his big brother together with you...." FanXing stated and looked at the baby.

"That is right. So you have to be an example to him. You have to love and care for your little brother like I do so for you." I said and FanXing smiled brightly.

"I do! I have to be a good big brother. Can I hold him?" FanXing asked excited and I gave him our little brother.

Everyone was amused at how much I had the little boy under control.

"He is always listing to you.... No matter what...." Dad stated and I grinned at him.

"Jealous?" I asked him.

"Yes! I hope soon everything will change. Then I will be married to his beautiful mother and hopefully he will call me dad."

I giggled and earned a wink from him.

"Big brother!" FanXing called me. "Tonight I have to stay here and protect our little brother!" He said determined and I chuckled.

"Do that. Protect him with your life. And Mom and Dad will protect yours."

"Mhn!!" FanXing nodded and looked back at the baby.

"Mom, do you have a name for him already?" I asked her and she looked at dad.

"Your father already decided after consulting with me. And its a lovely name. Right, Kuan?"

"Yes. We decided to call him ....Yuan." He announced and looked at me and Yibo.

"I love that name. It suits him. Don't you think, Zhan?" Yibo asked me and I nodded before looking back at mom.

"When will you be discharged?"

"I can go home tomorrow. The doctor said there were no complications. But I have to take it easy and need a lot of rest.My foot hurts a little too after twisting." She said and yawned.

"Okay, my wife is tired. If its okay with all of you, it would be good to let her sleep now. Xiao Zhan, are you okay with that?" He asked carefully and I laughed.  

"It is."

"Attention!!" Ziyi suddenly said and looked at me. "We will celebrate your birthday now. First we will go to the an already booked restaurant for lunch. Then we will playing laserball, then we will go to the game hall. After that we will go to the cinema and then we will end the celebration with a dinner in a restaurant owned by Xuan Lu's family."

"Don't look so disappointed or you will hurt their feelings. Our friend planned everything for long time." Yibo whispered in my ear.

"Its sounds fun. And I am happy about the plans but.... What is with your gift?"

"Don't be so impatient. I will not run away. We will be at home around 10 pm and have the whole night to do what ever we want. And now smile." Yibo said and I sighed before smiling.

He was right. We have the whole night and to be honest.... I am kind of nervous.

"Then, my dear friends. I hope you have fun. I will take Bowen out on a date. Is there something my boyfriend would like to do?" HaoXuan asked my brother who blushed slightly.

"They play laserball. How about we play paintball? That sounds fun." WenWen provoked his boyfriend who smiled.

"I would love to. I promise you I will treat all your wounds later. On every part of you body." The last part HaoXuan whispered but Yibo and I still heard it. WenWen blushed even more.

"You will have no time to treat them as you will be busy treating yourself!" WenWen said and left the room.

"Xiao Zhan? I will be busy granting you your birthday wish. See you later and wish me luck." He said, winked at us and followed WenWen.

"What is the meaning of this?" Dad asked but I just shook my head.

"Nothing! We will go now. Have a good rest mom and see you tomorrow. Don't forget Ayuan." I said and left with Yibo and my friends.

"Take care of you health!" Father shouted after me and I waved at him to show him I understood.

We had so much fun and I think I never laughed as much as today. I never thought I could be this happy when I still was at the orphanage. Meeting my dad was indeed the best thing that ever happened.

Right now we were at the restaurant eating dinner and everyone watched me with a grin.

"What!?" I asked a little annoyed.

"Nothing." Ji Yang said. "Its just... we knew you eat a lot but... never knew that it would be that much..."

"Are you saying I am a pig!? That I am fat!?"

"No, we are not. We are just happy seeing you eating a lot."

"Happy? Then why is Ziyi looking at me like that?" I asked and pointed at the frowning Ziyi.

"Oh, her? She is on a diet and just jealous. It seems like you can eat as much as you want without getting fat." Yibo answered and earned a glare from Ziyi.

"I don't care. Even if she is 10 pounds heavier. I still love her no matter what!" Ji Yang said kiss Ziyi's red cheeks.

"Paul, why are you looking so happy today?" I asked the silent boy who smiled widely.

"Tomorrow I will fly to London and meet Yang Mi for one week." He announced and Xuan Lu giggled.

"Both of them are video calling every free minute." She said and I chuckled.

"Love is something great, isn't it?" I asked and looked at my boyfriend who kissed me right away.

After a few minutes Paul had enough. "Take a room you two!" He shouted and everyone laughed.

"I guess Paul is right. Come Zhan, lets got home. Its time for your gift." He said and I hit him on his well build chest.

"YIBO!!" I hissed but it was too late.

"Ohhhh! So its like this? Guess by tomorrow the two of them will lose their virginity....." Ziyi grinned and Ji Yang laughed.

"At least we took our time!" Yibo said to Ziyi and took my hand. "We will go now."

"Alright, alright! Be careful and use protection!" Ji Yang smirked and I hid my face in Yibo's chest.

"Stop it, he gets shy! Moreover I already had a check up two days ago and Dr. Wang said I am as healthy as a person can be. So if my Zhan wants ,we could do it without.... " He said and I felt my face getting hotter.

"Yibo, don't torture Xiao Zhan with your dirty thoughts!" Paul said and Xuan Lu giggled.

"Got it. Lets go home, Zhan." He said and led me outside.

"Hey, Yibo!" Ziyi shouted. "Its not only your first time but his as well! So be gentle and don't overdue him! One round will be enough."

That was too much for me so I took Yibo's hand and run towards his bike trying to ignore the laughter of my friends.

Yibo quickly started the motor and rode off.  

Once arrived at home I was too shy to confront Yibo so I hid in the bathroom. I took a long shower and tried to figure out how to behave later. I always wanted to sleep with my boyfriend but now I was really nervous. 30 Minutes later I quietly opened the door in order to sneak out of the bathroom.

Unfortunately it did not work as Yibo was already hiding next to the door while waiting for me to come out. The moment the door opened and I made one step he grabbed my arm, pulled me towards the bed and pushed me down before hovering above me.

It seemed he took a shower next door and just like me, he was only covered with a towel around his waist.

"Did you think you could hide from me the whole night?" He asked and I look away. "Why so shy? Its not like we never were in this position. I was above you often and we saw each other naked many times already." He whispered and bit my ear gently.

"T-today is different. You are about to ...." I stopped, not knowing what to say.

"To what? To sleep with you? Love you? Make you mine? Eat you? Devour you?" He asked and after every question he he either kissed my lips, sucked my neck or rubbed our lower parts together.

I was panting already and we did not even do anything yet.

"S-stop talking about it!" I ordered and he chuckled.

"Why? I wanted to tell you what I am about to do. I will kiss you, lick you, bite you, suck you... from head to toe. I will stroke you and-"

"Yibo, please!!" I pleaded and heard him laughing.

"Just talking about it makes you hard?"

"You are mean!" I said and pulled away his towel, revealing his lower region, which was not as innocent as he might have thought. I had to laugh too.

"Who is hard again?" I asked amused and he glared at me.

"You should have not done that..." He said and too pulled away my towel. I might be aroused too but ... not as much as him. I grinned.

"Oh? You are proud that you are so calm, huh?" He smirked, lowered his waist and rubbed himself against me over and over again.

"Ahh!" I moaned. "Yi-Yibo. Slower, please..." I pleaded but he just increased the pace and even stroke my member until I came into his hand.

Suddenly I felt something against my hole and arched my back slightly when that something entered me. I stopped kissing him and moaned.

Just as I got used to it, another finger joined the first and once again I arched my back.

"Y-Yibo!!" I called him and kissed me.

"What? Does it hurt?" He asked me worried but I shook my head.

"No. It ... stings a little. But- ahh! No pain." I answered while trying to not moan what was impossible.

Yibo then started to kiss me again and with his free hand he pinched my left bud. I moaned loudly and that encouraged Yibo to not only suck on my right bud but he even entered a third finger.

"Ahhh, Y-Yibo...." I moaned and grabbed his hair to pull him closer. Just then he started to stroke my arousal and while still moving his fingers in and out, he bid my right bud gently which made me come once again. Suddenly I felt a wave of pleasure going through my whole body as Yibo hit a specific spot inside of me. Not only did I got harder, I was so shocked at the amount of pleasure I felt that I digged my nails into his back while arching my own back in a way I never knew was possible.

Yibo felt the same and he moaned loudly. "Ahhh.... There it is...now we can start..."

"I am not tired, Zhan. Its just ..... it was our first time and I don't want to overdue you." He explained.

I took his head in my hands and kissed his lips softly. "Its okay, Yibo. Everyone can get tired after one round. Nothing to be embarrassed for. I love you." I told him. Yibo opened his eyes and looked into mine.

"I love you more, Zhan. But I am really not tired. I just want you to rest." He insisted and I smiled innocently at him.

"I already said its okay to be tired, Yibo. No need to find excuses. Not everyone has a big amount of stamina. Lets go to sleep, good night." I said and turned around.

"Zhan, believe me! I have enough stamina." He said and sounded kind of ... annoyed? I suppressed a giggle and kept my position.

"Yeah, yeah... I got it. I believe you. Sleep now" I said and tried to provoke him even more.

Suddenly he rolled me on my back and hovered above me.

"You don't believe me, do you? Let me prove you just how much stamina I have left!" He said challenging and seconds later I felt him entering me again.

It still stings and felt weird but I know I will get used to it soon before the pleasure hits us. He then grabbed my member and stroke me while moving in and out in a very quick pace. I smiled against his lips when he kissed me with all the passion he had for me.
