Now we are jumping 7 months to the future ^^

We have May now. Its been 7 months since our first and last try with the hypnosis. After it did not work we never mentioned it again. We were waiting for Zhan to make the first step. In the meantime a lot happened. 

A few months ago I turned 20 and to celebrate it we went to the Zoo. Zhan asked if we could go to the amusement park but obviously brother did not agree. The reason should be clear. But I promised him we will make up for that in the future.

Even if he was not able to go there we still had a lot of fun in the zoo. Brother knew the owner and he allowed us to go inside the enclosure of a few animals. I think the most fun we had with the monkeys and the seals. At least I had it with the monkeys.

That day Zhan wore a cap and one of the monkey seemed to have taken an interest in it. It therefore decided to take it from Zhan's head and disappeared within the trees. My brother and I laughed, only Zhan was sulky as the cap was a gift from my brother. The Zookeeper apologized and promised to find it for us as soon as possible. We bowed and then left to take a look at other animals.

With the seals Zhan had the most fun whereas I did not. Why? Because the seals courted Zhan and whenever I tried to interfere they pushed me to the side. Zhan found it funny and cuddled with all of the 7 seals. The only thing I liked was the happy smile on Zhan's face, nothing more. My brother of course was a traitor and had as much fun as Zhan. When we finally left the seals I pulled Zhan to my side and ignored my Brothers laugh.

We also visited the penguins, the elephants, the snakes and the aquarium. By the end of the day the Zookeeper even succeeded in catching the monkey and took back the cap. He gave it to us and again apologized. Zhan was still sulky but he bowed to him as well and we apologized for the inconvenience.

All in all I had the best birthday ever, despite those stupid seals. 

In the last months we also often visited Dr. Wang and he gave as the great news that Zhan was fine and did not need to take the medicine anymore. As the daily exercises helped Zhan a lot, Dr. Wang told us to keep it up. Zhan would not stop it anyway. He liked it to have me for him alone even just for a few hours and declared the cellar as our secret base. You might already expect what I felt when he decided that on his own.

Zhan kept joining me at the basketball training and enjoyed the conversations with Ji Yang and Paul. He got a lot more confident with them as well with my other teammates. Xuan Lu was waiting patiently to meet Zhan someday, only Ziyi kept on pestering me daily and only stopped when Ji Yang took her away to ... calm her down. 

Unfortunately Meng Yao only came to training one more week before he was send to America with his brother to take care of the subsidiary there. Zhan was not happy but at least this time Meng Yao bid farewell. I knew Meng Yao did not like his brother but he seemed to be happy to travel to America with him, he even had the idea for this himself. When I asked him he only said he hoped that time would make everything better. I did not know what he meant with that and I did not ask.

Lu Fei was send to Japan for further studies and I was really happy she was gone. That did not happen because she wanted to but because she broke her promise. She came to the training after she heard the rumors I would bring my girlfriend there every time. She of course did not found any girl but she met Zhan. 

She asked around and got to know that he was my nephew. Therefore she tried to get information from him about my so called girlfriend. Zhan got a panic attack the moment he saw her so close next to him. I run to him and tried to calm him down what only succeeded after 10 minutes. My brother came as fast as he could and when Zhan calmed down my brother took him home.

While everyone's attention was on Zhan, Trainer Lu took his niece into his office. She explained over and over again she only wanted to see my girlfriend and did not know Zhan would react like that. The moment Zhan was gone I run there. I was furious and could not hold my anger anymore. I never raised my hand against anyone, especially not to women, but everything had its first. I slapped her hard across the face. Trainer Lu was standing in the background but I did not care. He also never reprimanded me for that.

I screamed at her and told her the truth that I did not had a girlfriend but Zhan being my boyfriend. I told her if Zhan would have permanent damage I would make her regret to have been born. Thankfully Zhan was fine. He did not join me at the training for the time being until my brother gave his consent and I promised him that Lu Fei was out of country.

Trainer Lu decided it was the best to send her to japan in an all girls boarding school. The last time I saw her was in school the day after she came to the basketball court. Everyone knew what had happened and they all ignored her, even the teachers. Of course everyone now was aware that I had a boyfriend but everyone accepted it except a few of the older teachers.

Over and over again Trainer Lu apologized and he even decided to quit his job. It was only until Zhan came to him and told him the he did nothing to feel sorry, he took back his resignation. It wasn't him who was the problem but Lu Fei and after two weeks Zhan came back to watch me train.

The director of the Orphanage also heard what happened as my brother fed him with all kind of information. Therefore he visited us more often to check on Zhan. First Zhan was scared the director would take him back after what happened but the director promised he would not. I gave both of them time alone so they could talk and after some time Zhan changed again. He was now more confident and the insecurity was almost gone.

You think that's it with the sad news? Unfortunately I have to disappoint you.

It was one month ago when it happened. Brother and I were at school. My brother had the weekly school sessions and I was in class. Zhan was alone at home. Almost alone.

Zhan went to play with his bunnies when he saw our Little One being very weak. He was just laying on the ground and not moving. You can imagine how scared Zhan was. I hated myself for not being with him at that time. He later told me what exactly happened.

He took Little One in his arms and run to the house to find us but like I said we were in school. So he gathered his courage and run to Mr. Li who was working in the garden. Zhan showed him the black bunny while crying and with begging eyes. Mr. Li immediately decided to drive them to the vet and Zhan hesitated only shortly before climbing in the car with Little One in his arms. During the drive Mr. Li called my brother who took me out of class so we could quickly follow Zhan.

While the vet examined Little One, Zhan was sitting outside on the verge of breaking down while Mr. Li sat next to him trying to calm him down. That was the moment I arrived there. I pushed Mr. Li aside and took Zhan into my arms. I saw both, my brother and Mr. Li, rolling their eyes but I did not care. Zhan first was upset with me as I was not there when he needed me the most. Only later he hugged me and cried a river.

Soon the vet came out and announced that Little One did not have much time anymore. He was already old. He asked us what we wanted to do. Either we take him home or we will let him sleep now. We decided to put him to sleep so at least he would not be in pain anymore.

Zhan stopped smiling from that day on. He hid in our room and mourned the loss of his best friend since childhood. We all mourned, the bunnies included, especially the red bunny. Zhan did not come out for days. I kept him company the whole time and made sure he would at least eat. My brother too came to check on him very often and when he thought that Zhan should not longer lock himself up he had a serious conversation with him.

Telling him that this is nature and that everyone has to go after time. We at least made sure that Little One could go in a less painful way.

Later my brother send me out so he could speak with Zhan alone. I don't know what they talked about but soon Zhan left our room and made me promise him to not leave him ever as we were soulmates and he could not bear it when I was gone as well. I of course promised him. He took me back to our room so we could cuddle together.

It was a hard time for everyone and Zhan smiled less than before. What made me even more upset was that after this incident Zhan and Mr. Li got closer. Whenever I came from school I saw them together caring for the flowers and I behaved even more annoyed with Mr. Li. He of course did not mind and whenever he saw me frowning, pouting or just treating him annoyed he laughed and called me cute. Zhan did not understand what is happening and run after me whenever I walked away.

Every time that happened I made sure he knew I was his boyfriend and marked him, of course on places that can be covered. Even if Zhan did not understood it, he loved it when I behaved like that and would always mark me too. He did it wherever he wanted, not minding if people could see it or not. Sometimes it was very difficult to cover it with a scarf so the girls needed to help me with make-up but they did so happily. Ji Yang always mocked me and Paul .... he saw it so often but still blushed every time.

We tried to change that so we asked the girls if Paul was maybe interested in anyone or not. Surprisingly not Ziyi but Xuan Lu knew something. She told us there was a girl Paul would always observe when he saw her. She was one year older and was called Yang Mi. She was one of the popular girls in university almost every man dreamed of. She was also the granddaughter of the director of the university.

So we tried to find out if Yang Mi was already in a relationship. We decided to talk to her as part of an interview for the monthly university newspaper, of course without telling her about Paul's interest in her. We asked her what her ideal type was, if there was anyone she is interested in and if she was in a relationship.

She explained she did not had a boyfriend, she is not interested in anyone at the moment and her ideal type was a gentle and cute boy. The moment the interview ended we made a plan to help Paul in secret and started by publishing the university newspaper.

I will not tell you the whole story about our efforts to bring them together as that would take too much time. Moreover it was not even our merit that Yang Mi got to know about Paul existence but Paul himself. While reading his favorite book he walked around the campus and ran directly into Yang Mi and both fell on the ground. He was so shocked that, instead of helping her up and apologizing, he blushed strongly and run away. Her friends were angry only Yang Mi found it cute and later searched for Paul to give back the book he lost. We were with him when she came to meet Paul and prevented him from running away again.

While giving back the book Yang Mi introduced herself and when she asked Paul for his name he was stuttering and looking everywhere but to Yang Mi. She asked him if he want to go to the cafeteria with him and before he could decline we pushed him to her and run away to let them have some time alone.

Soon the chase started. Yes you heard it right. Yang Mi fell for Paul and chased him. Paul did not know what to do and how to behave so he always run away. The director saw Yang Mi's interest in Paul too but thankfully did not interfere despite being overprotective oder his granddaughter.

That was two months ago and now they are a couple. How this happened? Yang Mi asked us for help so we locked both of them up in school over night. Of course the director knew of this. He decided to help us only because he saw that Paul too was interested but to shy to confront Yang Mi. Paul did not talk to us for 2 days before he gave up being upset. Now everyone of us were in a relationship except two persons....

My brother and Mian Mian laoshi.

In the last months she got bolder and always tried to find a reason to be near my brother when he was in school but it seems like my brother did not realize this or he ignored it. I don't know why he was like that but I will try to find out and help Mian Mian Laoshi as she was a good person and suited to be the partner of my brother.

My brother is 26 now and I don't want him to be alone forever. He needs someone in his life as well. Someone else than just Zhan and me.

Today when I came from school I saw Zhan and Mr. Li close to each other yet again and got upset. So I walked to the kitchen where brother cooked today's dinner. Brother saw me being upset and chuckled.

"What is wrong, Yibo?" He asked.

"Brother, do we really need a gardener? I can do the work for free, you know? You will save Money that way." I offered and brother sighed.

"Are you still not on good terms with him? What did he do? The garden looks beautiful in his care, don't you think? He is just doing his work." Brother explained.

"I don't think talking to Zhan and trying to steal him from me is part if his work." I complained.

"Yibo, Zhan will, hopefully, sooner or later talk with a lot of people. You cant prevent that. Its not like he ignores you. Don't you think he needs someone to talk to, someone he can spend time with when you are in school?"

"Aren't you here?"

"I have work to do too. I have video sessions, need to prepare everything so I can visit my patients and organize the paperwork. During these time I cant spend time with him. He knows and understand that, so you should too."

"Still, why him!? I don't like him taking interest in my Zhan. Don't you see how he is looking at him?"

"You are just imagining that, Yibo. Did you even try to talk to him properly once? If I remember it right you either ignored him or being annoyed with him." Brother said and looked at me with raised brows.

"I don't need to. I know what kind of man he is!" I answered.

"So? Then according to you what kind of man am I?" I heard Mr. Li's voice and turned around. He looked at me amused and that made me annoyed.

"A annoying one. Always trying to get Zhan's interest and trying to provoke me. Always mocking me whenever you succeeded in provoking me. And you are getting on my nerves." I answered and got reprimanded by my brother immediately. 

"Wang Yibo! Behave yourself!"

"Its okay Haikuan. Then, Yibo, shall I tell you what kind of man I think you are?" he asked. I should have knew it better. I knew he will say something to provoke me again but I was just too curious.

"Go ahead." I said and my brother looked at us worried.

"I think you are .....a very jealous and protective man who tries to protect his loved ones from any kind of danger. When ever you get jealous, angry or annoyed you look so cute that I cant help but to provoke you even more. Whenever I see you looking at me in annoyance, when you frown or pout you look so cute that I want to cuddle you." He said and winked at me. I felt how I frowned.

"Xiao Zhan is a cute and beautiful young boy who looks like he needs a lot of love. I love to speak to him, spend time with him and I want to give him some of my love I think he deserved. by the way, you are frowning again and you look so cute Yibo. " he continued.

I saw my brother suppressing his laugh. I was speechless for a moment before I realized Mr. Li is provoking me yet again.

"You see brother? If that is not provoking me then what is it?" I complained. 

"Provoking you? Me? I am just telling the truth. And by the way I love my job and will keep it a while longer so please bear with me." he said innocently and I got annoyed. I could not help myself and stick out my tongue before running out of the house while trying to ignore the laughter from my brother and Mr. Li.

I decided to go to the garden and feed the fishes. I admit I am jealous but not without reason. The way he looks at Zhan, trying to get his attention... I hate it!

I was deep in thoughts until Zhan run to me and pulled me with him. I was kind of upset and first wanted to be alone but when I saw Zhan's pale face and his teary eyes I knew something was wrong. He pulled me to the bunny house and showed me our red bunny. She did not move much, got a lot bigger and when I tried to push her gently to make her stand up, she didn't. She made squeaky noises the whole time and understood that she was in pain. I took her in my arms and run back to the kitchen followed by Zhan.

When both men inside saw us with the bunny they got alerted and after one look brother decided to bring the bunny to the vet. Mr. Li thankfully did not join us but continued his work in the garden.

Back at the vet we waited again outside. I hold Zhan in my arms and tried to calm him down. It was just one month ago when we lost our Little One. I don't think Zhan was able to bear another loss. He loved his bunnies so much and so did I. During the wait Zhan fell in a restless sleep. I carefully placed his head on my legs and soothingly stroke his head.

Soon the vet came out and brother decided to speak to him alone. Not even 2 minutes later he came out with a smile. I relaxed immediately as I knew when he smiled our red bunny was not in danger. When I asked him what is wrong with the bunny he explained everything and now even I was smiling.

I decided to wake up Zhan and took him to the treating room. Zhan stopped in front of it, scared to go inside but when he saw me being calm he relaxed and went inside only to find our red bunny alive and well next to 8 little baby bunnies, 6 red and 2 black ones.

It was the first time I saw him smiling so brightly since the loss of Little One.

"Normally the birth of baby bunnies is quiet and fast. But in this case your red bunny carried 8 babies at once which made it difficult and painful for her." The vet explained gently.

"How come we did not realized she was pregnant? I saw she was slightly bigger but when it was 8 babies, shouldn't she have been bigger?" I asked him while watching Zhan happily stroking each bunny.

"Because of the fur it is sometimes more difficult to see if one is pregnant. And because it were 8 babies at once she was heavy and did not move much. Therefore it was not easy for her to give birth and constantly was in pain." he explained and left the room after bowing to give us some space.

My brother and I sat down and let Zhan having his time. After some time he walked up to and showed us his message.

>How did it happen? Who is the father?< he asked. I chuckled and brother answered his question.

"Look at the fur of the babies. Who do you think could be the father?"

He looked to the bunnies and then back to us. 

>Little One?<  he asked happily and my brother nodded with a smile.

"I guess he left us a big present so we would not miss him too much." I said and smiled. I was happy. Finally Zhan smiled again.

We took all 9 bunnies home and introduced them to the others. Now we had 7 red, 2 black and 5 white bunnies. Mr. Li joined us and watched my Zhan being happy again. I saw Mr. Li smiling at Zhan and glared at him only to receive a wink as an answer.

Later he explained he would not be able to come for a few days as his parents will be back in the country for a week before going back to America. I did not think the day would get even more better after the bunnies but I got rewarded once again. Mr. Li of course suspected how I felt about these news and came towards me. Before I could comprehend what was happening he hugged me.

"My dear Yibo, don't miss me too much." he said loudly and my brother laughed. "I will soon be back so we can continue our fight for Xiao Zhan whereas I think I will have the upper hand" he whispered in my ears and stroke my head.

'How can someone be this arrogant? He? The upper hand? Dream on!!'  I thought but I did not need to reply to his provocations as Zhan pulled me away while glaring at Mr. Li.

"Haikuan, I guess you need to help me." Mr. Li said and my brother looked at him questioningly.

"What is it?" he asked Mr. Li amused.

"I cant chose... who is more cute being jealous? Xiao Zhan or Yibo?" he asked innocently which made my brother laughing even more. Mr. Li grinned and bid farewell.

"I don't mind you never coming back, Mr. Li." I shouted after him and earned a light slap from my brother but a giggle from Zhan.

"And never seeing your cute angry face again? For nothing in the world I would give up on that. See you in a week." He answered laughingly, climbed in his car and drove off.

"Bother now that he is gone... you will not let him come back again, do you?" I asked him seriously.

"Yibo, stop treating Bowen like that. He did not deserve this kind of treatment. Moreover since when are you behaving the same as Yibo, Xiao Zhan?" he asked in disbelieve and Zhan shrugged as his answer. I just grinned proudly and my brother sighed.

"Yibo, Bowen will be back in one week and I want you to treat him better than before, do you understand?" he asked me and I nodded seriously.

"I promise I will be even more annoyed with him until he decides to quit on his own" I announced.

"Yibo, you-!!" Before my brother could reprimand me I ran away followed by my boyfriend.

For the next three days Zhan stayed within the bunny house and after school I joined him. For the time being we will have no basketball training anymore as Trainer Lu was on vacation and the team and I could have time for ourselves. 

On the third day in the evening, it was Thursday, Brother came home and wanted to talk to us. So Zhan and I left the bunnies and met my brother in the living room.

"What is it you want to talk about?" I asked him.

"Mian Mian will have her final exam tomorrow." he answered.

"Does that mean she will be officially a teacher when she pass it?"

"Yes. And as the exam will be held tomorrow, there will be of course no classes. The problem is that it will beheld from midday to the evening. Which means she will have no time for something else."

"Okay.....? What do you want to say?" I was confused.

"You know she has a little son. He cant possibly be alone at home and his grandfather is not available to help as he is visiting a patient outside the city. I offered her to take care of him and she can fetch him in the evening. Is that okay with the both of you?" He asked.

I saw Fanxing a few times already and he was a cute boy. Brother probably knew my answer already. He only wanted to know if Zhan agreed to it.

>I don't mind. How old is he?<

"3 years old. His name is Fanxing and he is a nice little boy." Brother smiled and Zhan nodded.

With that the decision was made and the next day Mian Mian Laoshi brought Fanxing to our house. Of course Xiao Zhan stayed upstairs and waited for her to go again.

"Fanxin, behave yourself while staying here, okay? Mommy will come in the evening to pick you up." Laoshi said and let go of Fanxing after he nodded. 

"Thank you for your help, Haikuan." She thanked my brother and smiled at him while nervously playing with her fingers.

"No worries. Good luck on your exam" Brother said. I was speechless. 'Does he really not realize her feelings for him? I know I should not make fun of that because I was the same but ... this is just unbelievable.'  I thought and chuckled.

Laoshi looked quite disappointed and walked to the door. Before she could leave I called her.

"Yes, Yibo?" she asked. 

"It seems like you have to be bolder than that. Confront my brother straight ahead or else nothing will change. Fighting!" I showed her my support before she left and I went up to Zhan.

He was waiting for me in the library. I saw him walking back and forth and chuckled. When he heard me he smiled.

"Zhan, lets go down I will introduced him to you." I said and held out my hand. He took it and together we walked down the stairs.

I know it was more like a little summary of what happened in the last 7 months and it might have been a little bit boring but I hope you dont mind^^

Before we start with Xiao Zhan's next try in hypnosis I want to give Haikuan a lot of happiness too as he dereves it. Dont you guys think so too? ;)
