When Yibo left and Haikuan calmed down he went to the garden and saw Xiao Zhan feeding the bunnies. The moment he stepped into the bunny house little Wang Ji hopped towards him. Haikuan smiled and picked him up while stroking his fluffy fur.

"I missed you too" he said and gave him a kiss. When he looked up he saw Xiao Zhan looking at him with a smile. Haikuan walked up to him and gave him a kiss on his head as well. Then he took out a camera and showed it to Xiao Zhan.

"How about we take some pictures?" he asked him and Xiao Zhan nodded in excitement.

They took pictures of Xiao Zhan together with the bunnies, Haikuan together with the bunnies and then Haikuan and Xiao Zhan together with and without the bunnies. They had a lot of fun till they could hear the door bell ring.

"Ah, that must be the gardener. Do you want to come with me or stay with the bunnies?" Haikuan asked and Xiao Zhan pointed at the bunnies.

"Alight. I will greet the gardener and show him around." he said and left. Xiao Zhan waited till he could not see Haikuan anymore before he sat down and played with the little animals without realizing that one of them just hopped out of the bunny house as he forgot to close the door.

Haikuan went into the house and walked to the front door. He opened the door and saw a young man in front of him.

"Hello. You must be Li Bowen, right?" Haikuan asked and the man nodded.

"That is right. My name is Li Bowen and the new gardener." he answered and smiled gently.

"Well then. Come in. Do you want to drink something? I have Tea, Coffee, Juice, Water and Soft drinks." Haikuan asked.

"Oh, Tea sounds good." he said.

"I will bring it right away. Please sit down and wait a moment." Haikuan led him to the living room, signaled him to sit down and left for the kitchen.

10 Minutes later Haikuan came back with the tea and sit opposite of Li Bowen.

"Here is your tea. How about you tell me something about yourself so I get to know you, Mr. Li." Haikuan suggested and Li Bowen nodded.

"Alright. My name is Li Bowen and I am 26 years old. I applied to this job because I loved flowers since I was a little boy and I was told you have many different flowers for each season. I only cared for the garden in my residence till now. I never cared for someone else garden but that should not be a problem I think. My love for flowers is not only useful in my own garden. I live together with my parents who happens to be abroad and during their absence they employed a gardener on their own so I don't have anything to do." he said and smiled. 

"Do you have pictures of your garden? You don't have to show me I am just curious that's all." Haikuans said.

"Its fine. I have a few on my phone. Here..." He took out his phone and showed pictures of his garden.

"It looks very beautiful" Haikuan confessed. "I would say you have this job. I would like to show you around and explain a few things you have to be aware of." Haikuan said.

"Alright. But one question ahead... You have bunnies too?" he asked curiously.

"How did you know?" Haikuan was surprised and when Li Bowen pointed to the door he could see little white bunny sitting at the floor. But not just any bunny...

"Wang Ji!?" Haikuan called and the little bunny looked in his direction before hopping towards him. 'I don't believe Xiao Zhan send him here and that means he hopped away without him knowing...' Haikuan thought and stood up right away.

"Mr. Li, lets go to the garden. I have to bring him back and then I will show you everything." he said and walked away followed by Li Bowen.

When they arrived at the bunny house Haikuan saw Xiao Zhan sitting crouched at the floor with his head on his knees. Haikuan put Wang Ji on the ground and walked up to Xiao Zhan but signalizing Li Bowen to stay a few meters away.

"Xiao Zhan? Are you okay?" Haikuan asked when he felt his son crying. Xiao Zhan didn't look up as if he was scared of Haikuan. He wrote with trembling hands something in his notebook.

>I lost Wang Ji. I am sorry. I forgot to close the door and when I realized it Wang Ji was gone. I searched for him but could not find him. You loved him so much but he is gone. Its my fault. Please don't hate me, please.< he wrote.

"No, Xiao Zhan look at me. Nothing is wrong. I am not mad at you and I do not hate you. Look here, my Wang Ji is back. Look" he said and slowly Xiao Zhan looked at where his father pointed at. And there he saw the little bunny. Xiao Zhan was relieved he is back but he cried only harder.

"I know you were scared. When I found him I came to you immediately. Please don't cry. Everything is fine so calm down" he soothed the crying boy and hugged him while patting his back. As if Wang Ji wanted to apologize too it jumped up Xiao Zhan's leg.

Xiao Zhan then slowly calmed down. When he looked up and saw Haikuan looking at him with soft eyes and a gently smile on his face he threw his arms around him and hugged him tight. Only after some time he let him go and both stood up. Just then Li Bowen, who stood silently in the back while observing them, came forward. When Xiao Zhan saw the stranger he hid behind his father instantly.

"Mr. Li, how about I will show you the garden now." Haikuan suggested and Li Bowen nodded. So Haikuan turned around and whispered to Xiao Zhan. "He is the new gardener. I will show him around and introduce him to you later. Okay?" Xiao Zhan nodded and this time he closed the door when Haikuan left the bunny house.

Haikuan walked back to the gardener and showed him around.

"You will not only care for the flowers but for the pond as well. Feeding the fishes and checking if there are any problems with it. Water supply you will find over there and on the other side is one as well. We also have two water hoses in the equipment shed and they are each 50 m long but we have watering cans you can use too.

All in all everything you need you will find in the equipment shed. Watering cans, soil, secateurs, fish food, the seeds to plant new flowers and many more things. You can just take whatever you need. 

You can take rest in the living room and there is a bathroom as well. But you are not allowed to go upstairs. Your working hours will be six hours every two days from 11 am 5 pm. You can bring your own food or eat here. Dinner will be prepared at 1 pm you just need to give word so I can prepare enough. And if there is something you don't like or you have any allergies against something please tell me in advance. Please let me remind you of three rules we have inside the house. Don't make noises, do not run and no talking while dining." Haikuan explained and Li Bowen nodded while making notes to not forget anything.

"As you can see in this part of the garden the flowers are just planted. This part belongs to my son and only him can care for it unless he says something else. The same goes for the bunnies." Haikuan said and turned around. "Is there something else you would like to know?" he asked friendly.

"Your son...?" Li Bowen started.

"Ah, yes. I live here with Yibo, my little brother who is 19, and my son, Xiao Zhan, who is 16. The boy you just saw was my son. And there are things you need to pay attention to. My son is shy and he doesn't like strangers. When my brother or I are with him its okay but if you happen to be alone with him... let him be and don't go near him. Its another story if he approaches you on his own but if not please let him alone.

I also want you to not bring your family, friends and most importantly, not your girlfriend here." Haikuan explained. "I don't want to sound harsh but I have to say this in order to protect my son. I hope you respect these rules."

"Don't worry. Everyone wants to protect their family. I understand that. I will respect them" Li Bowen answered with a smile.

"That's great. My brother is at his basketball training so you will meet him some other day. But I will introduce my son to you now. Please wait in the living room while I bring him." Haikuan said and left for Xiao Zhan while Li Bowen walked to the living room and sat down.

Soon Li Bowen heard footsteps and looked to the door. Haikuan came in and Xiao Zhan right behind him. Both of them sitting opposite Li Bowen while Xiao Zhan never let go of Haikuan's shirt.

"Xiao Zhan. This person here is the new gardener. His name is Li Bowen and just one year older than me." Haikuan said. When the young boy did not reacted Li Bowen looked at Haikuan with raised brows but the latter just nodded.

"Hello Xiao Zhan. My name is Li Bowen. Please take care of me." he greeted. Xiao Zhan slightly raised his head and nodded.

After some small talk Haikuan found out that Li Bowen was divorced with out any children and his parents are abroad because of business. He has a brother as well but he lives not with them. He does not have a girlfriend or any other female friends. His family belongs the biggest company in the USA and the third biggest in China. For him his salary is not important. He is to inherit the position of the CEO in his parents company soon. Before he does he wants to do things he likes, in this case enjoying to be around flowers and caring for them.

During their small talk Xiao Zhan sat next to his father listening to their conversation and never let go of Haikuan. Soon Li Bowen said goodbye as he has an appointment. His work starts tomorrow.

"He seems to be a nice person, don't you think?" Haikuan asked Xiao Zhan who nodded after a few seconds with a smile. Haikuan was surprised as something like this rarely happened before. 'Usually when he met a stranger we will be shy, hide and ignore everything. This is the first time he more or less greeted back, listened to the conversation and even smiled when I told him the gardener was nice. He is changing.'  Haikuan though happily. He looked at his son when he felt a tug.

>I want to go up and draw< he said and Haikuan smiled.

"Alright then go. When Yibo comes back later you will train with him for a bit. I will be at a gathering this evening but don't worry I will leave only when Yibo arrives. If you need something you will find me here in the living room." he said. Xiao Zhan nodded and disappeared in his hobby room.

The next 3 hours Xiao Zhan stayed in his room and drew. Haikuan was in the living room reading some books about psychology. Whenever he can he read those books to find more information how to get to know how to find out things someone forgot because of a trauma or something similar.

When the front door opened and Yibo came in Haikuan stopped reading.

"I am back, brother. Where is Zhan?" he asked as soon as he saw Haikuan. 

"You just came home and the first thing you ask is where Zhan is? What about me?  Am I not important?" Haikuan asked his little brother jokingly.

"You know that is not the truth...." he answered and pouted.

"Yeah I know so stop pouting. Xiao Zhan is upstairs drawing and I have to go now. You have to prepare Dinner for you two. I will eat outside." he explained.

"I don't need to cook. Xuan Lu came today and brought a lot of Lotus soup. We will eat that later. When will you be back?" Yibo asked with a bright grin ad Haikuan shook his head in amusement.

"I don't know but probably late. I hope we have some ideas... See you tomorrow." Haikuan said and left when he saw his little brother nodding. 

When his older brother left Yibo went upstairs and knocked at the door of the hobby room. He heard footsteps and Xiao Zhan opened the door slowly. The younger boy saw Yibo and smiled happily while signaling him to come in. The older boy followed Xiao Zhan and closed the door behind him.

When he turned around again he saw the younger boy back at his usual place, in front of a canvas. So he walked up to him and hugged him from behind. Xiao Zhan flinched but relaxed instantly. He put away the brushes and leaned back.

"What are you drawing?" Yibo asked but Xiao Zhan just shrugged. Yibo looked at the canvas and saw a young boy hunting birds. 'That boy should be around 11 or something but it is definitely not Xiao Zhan.'  Yibo thought and asked "Who is this? Someone from the orphanage?"

>Probably. I never took interest in the other kids but maybe I saw him when I went out of my room<

Yibo nodded and his his eyes went over the different paintings Xiao Zhan drew in the last three weeks.

The first one was the painting with the closed window and the animals facing each other. That was the first painting he drew when he came here. Another one is a playground with a lots of other kids. The next one is again a painting with the closed window and outside are two squirrels fighting over a nut. The last one was a man smiling friendly at the one who looked at the painting.

Yibo was not sure but he thinks maybe these paintings shows occasions from Xiao Zhan's past. He talked with his brother about this and Haikuan too has the same opinion. 

"Maybe you are right. He may not remember anything what happened but is subconscious does. But I don't think he draws them because he remembers something... I think its more like something happened during the day that triggered this memory and that is the reason for him to paint these but he himself may not necessarily know what these paintings means... Lets wait what the future brings." That was what Haikuan told his little brother.

And that is what he does. Waiting. Just when he wanted to turn back to Xiao Zhan he saw another canvas hidden under sheets.

"Xiao Zhan, what is under this?" Yibo asked and pointed towards it. Xiao Zhan run to him and prevent him no go nearer. Yibo raised his brows questioningly.

>Dr. Liu's birthday is soon. Its his present. Please don't look!<

Yibo smiled at that and ruffled though the younger boys hair. "Then I will not look and wait for the revelation on brothers birthday." he said.

>What is your present?<  he asked Yibo.

"There is an event on a weekend in England about a lot of different tea specialties. As my Brother loves tea I got a ticket for him. It was expensive but for my brother its worth it." Yibo answered and the younger boy nodded.

"When you finished with drawing lets go to cellar and train. Shall we?" Yibo asked and Xiao Zhan nodded happily.

In the next two hours they played basketball. Actually it should only be one hour but Xiao Zhan did not want to stop so they continued for another hour. When Yibo saw how exhausted Xiao Zhan was he stopped for today.

"Lets continue tomorrow. Too much activity right from the beginning will harm your body. Come lets take a shower." Yibo said and both went back into the house up to the 3rd floor. Before they went in to their own rooms Yibo pulled Xiao Zhan to himself.

"How about we forget showering and take a bath together?" he whispered into the younger boys ears. Xiao Zhan's face turned red instantly and turned around to Yibo. After a long stare contest between the two boys, Xiao Zhan with a shy look in his eyes and Yibo with a mischievous one, Zhan nodded and Yibo looked at him in shock.

"For real? You want to take a bath together with me?" Yibo asked again just to be sure he did not misunderstood the younger boy. Xiao Zhan looked away for a short moment and then back to Yibo while nodding.

"We will have a lot of fun" Yibo said and grinned. "Bring some clothes before you run around naked. I don't want you to catch a cold, alright?" Yibo said and Xiao Zhan ran in his room with a red face.

Soon Xiao Zhan came back with his clothes. In the meanwhile Yibo prepared the bath. Both boys climbed into the tube and sat down facing each other. Yibo's heart was racing and so was Xiao Zhan's.
