When Haikuan arrived at home around 4am he was very tired. He warmed up the soup and ate it within 10 minutes. Before he went to bed he wanted to check on his son and brother. 'It sounds really strange but refreshing to call Xiao Zhan my son.' he thought and smiled. He went up to the third floor and entered Xiao Zhans room. There was a frown on his face when he didn't find him in it. 'Where is he? Why is he not in his bed? Is he still in the library?' Haikuan was very worried and hurried to the library but he wasn't there as well. When he checked the new build bunny house and saw the door was open and the bunny missing he was horrified. 'What happened here? Did Xiao Zhan ran away? No! This cant happening! Where is Xiao Zhan!?'  Haikuan was about to lose it.

All rules put aside he run up the stairs to the 3rd floor. He opened his little brothers room and saw him sleeping comfortably in his bed with his back facing him. He walked up to the bed with fast steps and was about wake him up. But just as he wanted to shake his shoulders the sleeping body in the bed turned around and he could see the face. 'Xiao Zhan!?'  he realized and his legs gave away. "Thank god. He is alright" he mumbled and tried to calm down. He stood up again and gave Xiao Zhan a soft kiss on his forehead.' Why is he sleeping here? Did he accidentally mix up his room? But if he is here, were is Yibo? He was not next door...'

At the corner of his eyes he saw a movement. When he turned around he saw Yibo sleeping at his desk. "Yibo, why are you sleeping there?" He smiled. Haikuan then took the blanket and wrapped it carefully around Yibo shoulders. He laid his head on a pillow, stroke his head and gave him a light kiss on his hair. "Sleep well, little brother" he whispered lovingly.

When he saw both, Yibo and Xiao Zhan, sleeping peacefully in one room he didn't want to leave them alone. So he quickly went to his room, took his own blanked and pillow, put them on the ground and slept in the same room as his family. Haikuan fell asleep with a smile on his lips.

It was 8am and Yibo was the first one to wake up. He stretched himself first before he stood up. His back hurts a bit but the pain is enduring. He heard bells slightly ringing and looked at his ankle. 'I have to be careful to not wake up Xiao Zhan.'  When he turned around and wanted to check on Xiao Zhan he almost fell over his brother who was peacefully sleeping on the floor. He waited a few minutes to see if he accidentally woke him up but he seems to be too tired. 'When did he came home and what is he doing here? Why is he sleeping on the floor? Was he that worried?'  He shook his head in amusement. Suddenly Xiao Zhan set up and looked around in shock. He calmed down when he saw Yibo standing in the middle of the room. 'Did he have a nightmare?'  Yibo smiled at him and put his index finger on his lips, then he pointed to the sleeping Haikuan. Xiao Zhan saw it and slowly nodded his head and didn't move anymore. 'How cute..... I didn't say him to stop moving...' Yibo laughed internally.

He slowly walked around his brother without making to much noises with the bracelet and went to his bed. "Good morning, I hope you slept well. I just want us to be quiet so my brother will not wake up. It seems he came home just a few hours ago." He whispered to the boy on the bed and winked at him. He handed him his hand and waited for Xiao Zhan to take it. 'Still to early...?' He was about to take it down again when Xiao Zhan slowly grabbed it and smiled shyly at Yibo. Yibo was so happy he thought he would cry.

He gently lifted Xiao Zhan up. He pointed to the door and both quietly left the room. Both then were standing in the corridor and didn't know what to do. "How about we will make a big breakfast for my brother? We could make pancakes and a fruit salad and fresh squeezed orange juice... How about this?" Yibo asked Xiao Zhan. The boy smiled and pulled Yibo slightly to the stairs, eagerly to start. 'Now he is more relaxed around us. He is still careful though...'

When they arrived at the kitchen they washed their hands and then the fruits. While Xiao Zhan was cutting the fruits for the salad and squeezed the oranges, Yibo made the pancake batter. He put a frying pan on the oven and preheat it on medium heat. When Xiao Zhan finished his task he observed Yibo.

When the pan is hot Yibo carefully poured the right amount of batter in the middle of the pan and then continued pouring slowly in a circular motion so that the batter spreads into perfect round shapes. He paid attention the side is properly cooked, then took the handle of the pan in both hands and with a practiced slight swing he flipped the pancake to its other side without touching it. Yibo smiled proudly to himself and Xiao Zhan was looking at him in amazement.

When the other side of the pancake is properly cooked as well he swung it one more time and then put it on a plate. He did the procedure around three times when Xiao Zhan tapped Yibos shoulder and Yibo turned around. Xiao Zhan pointed at the pan and then himself. Yibo smiled "You want to try it too?" he asked the boy and Xiao Zhan nodded his head eagerly. "Alright come here, but be careful the pan is hot" Yibo made space for him.

Now Xiao Zhan poured the batter in the pan the same way as Yibo did and let it cook. Then he took the handle of the pan and swung it. As its Xiao Zhans first time he took much strength and the pancake unfortunately landed on the floor. Xiao Zhan saw this and let his shoulders fall and trembled slightly. 

When Yibo saw how sad Xiao Zhan was he walked up to him right away and tried to calm him down. "Hey its okay. We will clean it later, alright? No one can do it perfect at the first time. You should be happy its just the floor" he said and patted Xiao Zhans back. He then pointed at the ceiling. "Look up there. Do you see the slightly dark part of the ceiling? That is the place where my first pancake landed. Now who had more luck? You or me?" Yibo asked and winked at Xiao Zhan.

The boy looked at the ceiling for a while and smiled. "Should I show you how to swing the pan properly?" Yibo asked and Xiao Zhan nodded his head and smiled happily at Yibo. "Okay then make the pancake ready and I will help you swing it" he said and Xiao Zhan again poured the batter in the pan. When one side is cooked properly, he took the handle with both hands and Yibo stood behind him. "I will put my hand over yours. Don't be frightened." he said. He did what he said and Xiao Zhan flinched but calmed down right away. Yibo slightly swung the pan and the pancake flipped and landed perfectly inside it again. "There you go. Not that hard right." Xiao Zhan nodded in agreement. When the pancake was ready he put it on the plate where the others were.

When Yibo is standing so close to Xiao Zhan he got a little nervous. 'He smells of oranges.'  Yibo thought and sniffled at the younger boys neck. Xiao Zhan didn't noticed it as he was to busy to proudly stare at the pancake just made by him. 'What is wrong with me? What am I doing?!?' Yibo his shocked with his action. He shook his head and backed away with slowly steps.

When Xiao Zhan heard the bells and realized that Yibo is not standing behind him anymore he turned around. He saw Yibo with a red face and frowned. He pointed to the pan. "You want to do it together again? Why not try in alone first?" Yibo asked still embarrassed with himself but Xiao Zhan shook his head. He walked up to Yibo, took his sleeve in his hand and pulled him back to the oven. Then looked with pleading eyes into Yibos. 'His eyes are so beautiful.'  Yibo thought. He sighted and signaled Xiao Zhan to go back in position. 'Concentrate Yibo! Stop sniffing at him!'  With that thought in mind he stood behind Xiao Zhan again and together they made many more pancakes. Every time the pancake flipped perfectly Xiao Zhan smiled happily at Yibo and pointed at the pancakes as if he wanted to say 'Look, look... that's what I just did. I did good right?'

The older boy laughed sincerely and ruffled through Xiao Zhans hair.

Little did they know that Haikuan stood at the door and observed them with a big relieved smile on his face. In his arms was the black bunny. When he saw the boys were about to finished preparing the breakfast he coughed to get their attention. "Good morning my boys" he said and smiled. "This smells nice. I am really hungry. Lets eat right away." He put the bunny on the ground and sat down at the table. Both boys joined him after setting the table.

"This tastes delicious. Who made it?" Haikuan asked innocently.

"Xiao Zhan did the most. I only helped him a bit" Yibo answered and winked at Xiao Zhan. The younger boys face went red. Haikuan laughed.

"Thank you Xiao Zhan. But care to tell me why there is a half cooked pancake on the floor?" he asked in amusement.

"His first try didn't went well. So this happened but I will clean it later. I promise" Yibo said and smiled.

Haikuan saw how embarrassed Xiao Zhan is and told him about Yibos first try. "Don't worry. When Yibo tried it for the first time his half cooked pancake landed on the ceiling. Should I tell you what happened after that?" Haikuan asked. Xiao Zhan looked up and nodded his head while Yibo complained. "Stop it brother! Why tell him that? It was not funny!"

"Yes it was. Look Xiao Zhan. Back then after we ate breakfast he tried to clean the ceiling and during that try the pancake fall down right on his head. It was really difficult to get the batter out of his hair." Haikuan explained while laughing. "BROTHER!!" Yibo shouted in embarrassment and Xiao Zhan giggled loudly. The brothers looked at the giggling young boy and both smiled and thought 'He arrived'

After breakfast Yibo cleaned the kitchen together with Xiao Zhan. After that they went up to take a shower. Meanwhile, Haikuan phoned a befriended colleague. "Thank you. Then do you have time in the afternoon? I would like to visit you today..... Yes I will bring my brother too..... What? ... I think so but I am not sure that's why I asked you for this favor..... we will be together the whole day so he comes too. Moreover Xiao Zhan seems to be very comfortable around Yibo too... yes I think that would help a lot.... Come on ..... You know Yibo doesn't like it if you are so clingy..... I know he is handsome, that runs in the family but ..... what? ..... don't you dare, stop bothering him" Haikuan laughed. He then saw both boys coming full dressed down to the living room. "I will have to go now. Yes yes..... Alright. Thank you. See you later then" Haikuan cut the call.

"Who was that?" Yibo asked.

"Do you remember my friend Dr. Wang Yi Zhuo?"

"How can I not? He always wants to hug me and every time he does I almost get choked...what is his problem...?"

"He just likes you a lot because you are handsome." Haikuan laughed. "We will visit him together this afternoon. I want to get Xiao Zhan fully checked"

When Xiao Zhan heard this he hid behind Yibo. Haikuan walked up to him and gave him a soothing hug. "Don't worry nothing will happen. Both of us will be there with you. I have to know a few things about your health so my friend will just check you. If you have enough we will stop. We will only go as far as you want. Okay?" Xiao Zhan nodded slowly and tugged on Yibos sleeve. "I saw that you trust him very much so yes, Yibo will come with us." Xiao Zhan smiled faintly and nodded.

"Ahh right.... What I wanted to ask you, Yibo.... Why do you wear mothers favorite bracelet on your ankle?" Haikuan chuckled.

"I don't want to scare Xiao Zhan. I wear it so that he can hear me when I am near him." Yibo answered and smiled at Xiao Zhan.

"That is a good idea. I don't have a bracelet so I will just tramp on the ground really loud, so you will hear me too." Haikuan said to the younger boy. "Alright. If you both are ready then lets go shopping" 

Xiao Zhan suddenly walked back to the kitchen with big steps and came back with his little bunny.

"Right we should bring him back to his house. Wait here Xiao Zhan. I will go and bring some food for him" Yibo said and went back to the kitchen as well. When he came back he had a bottle of Water, hay and carrots. While Haikuan walked ahead to bring the car, the two young boys went to the bunny house and gave the little one food and water. Xiao Zhan went out of the house followed by Yibo. Then they walked to the car and Haikuan drove them to the next shopping center.

When they arrived there the three of them took their time and went from store to store. Yibo saw a hairdresser and remembered the last night. "Brother lets go to Uncle James too. Xiao Zhan wants to get a new haircut." Yibo explained. Haikuan saw Xiao Zhan nodding his head in agreement. "Alright. Lets do that then. His shop is near so lets go there first. Haikuan went ahead and the boys followed him.
