nominations are finally open, welcome!

this is year number three so there's no reason to explain the rules and guidelines because it's literally the same as 2016 and 2017.

of course you have to inline comment in order for us to count your nominations. we will not accept free comments! if you free comment, your nominations are invalid.

there's a lot of categories so if you want to take a break and come back later, you can but just remember to have all of your nominations in before the deadline. once time is up, we will not accept anymore nominations, period.

you can nominate yourself so take advantage!

when you nominate, be sure to include the name of the book, tag the author, and the number of times you want to nominate.

for example: if you want to nominate eazy's playhouse book 3 ten times, just comment "eazy's playhouse book 3 +10"

fyi! if you don't include + and a number, we'll just count it as 1 nomination.

a lot of writers, readers, and books didn't make it to the second round last year because of this so please include a number next to a + sign.

and let's not be desperate and thirsty for a book award that ain't real lol smh.

and by this, i'm referring to the no life idiots that would deadass go out of their way and create a fake profile just to make sure that their favorite writer or book becomes a finalist.

that may sound far fetched but i've seen it happen before trust me. this shit is not that serious, it's just for fun.

so if we come across any accounts that seems suspicious (meaning, accounts with no profile picture, followers, books, reading lists, posts, and of course if it was created in less than an hour), just know that all of your nominations will be deleted and your ass will get muted.

i doubt we'll run into this problem because i don't think that anyone is that damn thirsty for a wattpad book award but you can't give people too much credit, especially when it comes to wattpad.

but just in case we do, please know that you will get muted in a heartbeat 💗

5. best ship (nominate a book that has a good ass ship! and it doesn't have to just be eazy and a girl, it can be another nwa member and a girl; and name the ship too. if you just nominate a book without telling us who the couple is, your nominations are invalid)

6. best lead girl (name the book and the lead female character! if you don't, your nominations are invalid)

7. best book cover (a cover that will blow your edges away; one that's well put together and not sloppy)

11. best themed account (tag a writer or a reader with a dope ass account! they must have an amazing pfp, a dope background photo, neat book covers on their stories if they're a writer, and their reading lists can't be all over the damn place)

13. most savage writer (a writer who will literally slice you in half 😪)

18. best alternate universe story (in case you forgot, alternate universe means the writer changes facts about a certain character for the story and they will literally let their imagination run wild)

21. best commenter (someone who can drop some good ass comments 🤟🏾)

22. best blurb (a blurb is the story's description for those who don't know what this means)

24. best 1990's based story (the story has to be based in the 90's only!)

25. where is the update?! (a book that hasn't been updated in years or maybe centuries)

26. come through (for writers only; a writer who deadass came through with their writing and presence between august 1, 2017 through today. and not trying to be petty nor shady but don't nominate a writer who spent the entire year just sitting on their ass. the judges are only gonna choose a writer who literally came through and made 2018 their bitch!)

27. take it back! (books that were finished before january 1, 2017 and instead of two, we decided that four books will win this category)

28. people's champ (open for writers and readers; do you know someone who should be considered a people's champ?)

29. best inactive account (someone who's never online and i don't blame them 😊)

30. you've gotta read this again!  (nominate a book that's worth reading again)
