nominations open this friday at 6:00p.m on the dot; the reason why is because we are aware that everyone will be either in school or at work earlier in the day.

once you receive the notification for nominations, please read the rules and guidelines before you begin. nominations are unlimited and you are always welcome to nominate yourself.

and since wattpad has fell from the face of the earth, this will (most likely) be the last n.w.a. fanfiction awards because nobody is gonna be on wattpad this time next year. this app is going to be dry as hell, which is why this year's awards is going to be something for everyone to remember.

writers should know that they wouldn't be who they are without their readers, which is why the team has decided to give out awards to readers as well this year.

and yes, writers are readers too. they also qualify for the readers' awards.

originally, there was going to be only 34 categories but we're going to add 10 more, they will remain a secret but you're going to love them.

so, there will be a total of 44 categories for readers and writers. and the more participation, the better.

if you don't participate, you have NO RIGHT to be mad at the results whatsoever. if you're too lazy to nominate and vote, then be lazy enough to sit back and watch other writers and books walk away with everything.

shade and hate will not be tolerated. if you throw shade while nominating or voting, your comments will be deleted which means that your nominations and votes will be invalid.

if you are a writer, you and your books will no longer be considered. throwing shade (and that includes in your message board too, y'all ain't slick) will automatically disqualify you from the contest. you can cry later.

we're also going to crown "miss n.w.a. fanfiction" and one writer as well as one reader will receive an honorable mention.

told you, this will probably be the last n.w.a. fanfic awards and we're going out with a bang.

nominations will close in 24 hours and you'll receive a notification, reminding you that any nominations made after closing time will be deleted and invalid.

SHOUT YOURSELVES OUT AND PROMOTE THE FANFIC AWARDS! THE MORE PARTICIPATION, THE BETTER.

and if your readers don't come through for you, you can't be mad at nobody but them. promote, promote, promote.

there will be great prizes this year:

• each team member (if they haven't already) will also vote on each chapter of your winning book. so if your book wins a certain award, get prepared for tons of votes

• we're going to give you a shout out on our co owned eazye-wyd page

• your winning book or books will be placed on reading lists on our eazye-wyd page

• we decided to create a fanfic awards page which is nwafanficawards ... your book will receive votes from this page as well and they will be placed on reading lists

• not sure about this prize but, if we decide to create a book dedicated to the winning n.w.a. fanfics, your winning book or books will be included. but, we're still thinking about this one.

• last but not least, you'll also receive a sticker. there will only be one sticker per book and we're still deciding on a color scheme. we were thinking black or maybe white.

the team decides as a group, which writer and reader receives an honorable mention.

we will decide based on positivity, kindness, and if they're just a kindhearted person. someone whose presence on wattpad stands out. this is not a popularity contest. so just because you're popular, it doesn't mean that we're going to choose you. fyi.
