A new virus was taking over. It caused people to form star shaped bruises all over their body. The virus killed over 87% of the human population. When the virus starts taking over your system, it form the bruises, but only on you torso. The virus causes your bones to break, your muscles to weaken, you cannot eat anymore because your stomach acid is gone. Your brain is the last thing affected, but it is the most gruesome. Your brain starts to boil until it melts, your veins burst and blood seeps out everywhere it can.
It was supposed to be a vaccination, or so they say. It took 3 month for the virus to take hold of your body, it took 6 months for your body to shut down, and it took 1 week for you to die. The pain is unbearable, and the virus is contagious, if someone with the virus even touches a water source, it all has to be boiled.
