Clarke's father only appeared in the 100 two times.During the first time we watch what happened and why He was floated. I have always had a little hate for Abby after I found out it was her who turned him in. That never really settled with me, and then for Abby to fall in love with Marcus Kane later in season 3 really upset me. I feel like Jake and Marcus were good friends and when Abby got with Marcus I thought, Damn Jake is cussing her out as this happens.  

  Jake didn't deserve to die he was only doing what he KNEW was right. I may be the only one, but I agree with him trying to let the people know that the ark is running out of oxygen. I ended up getting mad at Jaha Because WE ALL KNOW THEY WERE BEST FRIENDS And Jaha let him die. The idea of Clarke being in lockup because they decided that she needed to be put on the charges as well made it worse. 

  Also maybe it didn't click in the councils head, but at some point the ark would have been dying anyway and the idea that it was already dying, in their opinion, early, I guess they didn't like it. Jake did what he thought was right and it was right. Abby couldn't have loved him a lot if she turned him in knowing he was gonna get floated. Which brings me to the idea that maybe she was having an affair. Maybe not with Kane at first I feel like she had a thing for Jackson the other medical person on the ark, but thats an idea.
