Well honestly Charlotte wasn't that well of a liked character, but the idea of her killing herself so no one hurts her  was kind of surprising. She was a 12 year old girl and I understand why Murphy wanted to hurt her, i mean the 100 blamed him for WELLS dying, but I felt maybe they would have done something along the lines of "Probation" and keep her under surveillance.Charlotte's killing herself made me believe she felt guilty for killing WELLS but she didn't want to face the consequences. 

I don't have a lot to say about Charlotte.
