[JJ] Goggles.
As soon as the dropship had landed on Earth, everyone was eager to go out and explore once they realised the air wasn't going to kill you all. It happened when Bellamy had opened the door for his little sister, Octavia, who was hidden under the floor for sixteen years. She was to be the first person on the ground for almost ninety-seven years after the war. She was no longer known as the girl under the floor but the first person on the ground.
Bellamy had watched her walk down the ramp and onto the ground, throwing her hands up yelling:
"We're back bitches!"
Everyone cheered and Bellamy looked over to you, you winked at him and he smiled back at you. You two were, in a way, family. You were the first person who wasn't a Blake to find out about Octavia. You and Bellamy had been friends when you were younger, although he was a couple of years older than you, he still hung out with you.
You had gone over to his room when his mum was away to give something back to someone, when a young girl, who looked like Bellamy, had opened the door. She looked scared, terrified in fact, but you pushed her in the room again after checking to make sure no one saw and closed the door behind you.
She backed herself away in the corner and shrunk down into a ball and cried until Bellamy came back about ten minutes later. He looked at Octavia before looking at you and his mouth opened and closed not knowing what to say.
"Your secret is safe with me Bellamy, I promise you that with my life." He looked shocked before slowly walking to Octavia, helping her up and then over to the table in the middle of the room, sitting her down and sitting next to her.
He motioned to the seat in front of him and you sat down. He had one arm wrapped around Octavia while the other held her shaking hand. "You-You won't tell anyone?" You shook your head and he sighed in relief and that seemed to ease Octavia as well.
"Here's the plan," you spoke up after a minute's silences and Octavia and Bellamy's head snapped towards you one in fear the other in confusion. "I will give you half of my rations for her and you don't complain about how little I eat. Second, I get to hang out and help you here, not in some random corridor. Third, you tell me her name." Bellamy sighed again and relaxed knowing you would protect his sister with him that was until he remembered the first part of the plan.
"I can't let you do that, you need to eat."
"Bellamy, what did I say? The plan involves all three things without you complaining like a little bitch, that you are, I'm more than happy to help in any way I can. Besides, I know how your mum is, and I know two rations aren't enough for all three of you especially a growing girl, who I have yet to know the name of Blake."
Bellamy's jaw fluttered meaning he was thinking of the offer and he nodded and turned to his sister and nodded to her letting her know you were okay and trustworthy. She looked unsure before noticing Bellamy was looking at you again, smiling.
"I'm Octavia." Octavia smiled for the first time at you and looked between you and Bellamy. "Are you two dating?" Your eyes widened and both you and Bellamy tried not to laugh.
"Good god no!" You said suddenly before covering your mouth looking at Bellamy then to the table quickly.
"Well, excuse me!" Bellamy faked a heartache and Octavia laughed.
"I like you," she said to you and you smiled widely at her.
"I like you too."
"I like myself," Bellamy spoke in a girly voice.
"Bellamy!" You and Octavia laughed out.
Your mind wondered back to the present day and noticed you were the last one on the dropship and you walked down carefully before stopping before the ground. You heard a female voice and some others complaining, so, you walked over to them and you saw a boy with goggles on his head and his friend walk over. Goggle boy looked at everyone before looking at you.
"Can I get a bar in this town? I'll buy you a beer." He winked at you and you could feel your cheeks heat up before looking away, you could hear a little victory laugh come from him and skin slapping skin, obviously he and his friend high-fived.
"They dropped us on the wrong damn mountain!" The blonde girl yelled annoyed and a boy who you remembered as Finn, the spacewalker who wasted oxygen supplies, replied:
"Calm down, Princess." The blonde didn't look too pleased and Finn mumbled, "You don't like being called princess, do you, Princess?"
Getting bored of them, you turned away to some other people when you felt someone watching you from behind, you looked over to see goggle boy smiling at you, taking glances every once in a while.
"Can I help you goggle boy?" Looking over to him, he looked a bit surprised and lifted his hands to his head to feel the goggles checking you were talking to him before he cleared his throat.
"Yeah, yes actually, I was wondering if you could hold this?"
He put his hand out with his knuckles closed and palm facing down, you raised an eyebrow before lifting your arm out to take whatever he had when he dropped his empty hand in your hand, and held it tightly, pulling you to him and dropping both your hands to his side before stating:
"It's cute that we are already at the nickname stage of our relationship but while we get to know each other just call me Jasper." He smiled at you before finishing his sentence, then looked away shyly, "Or the man of your dreams."
