I looked at him.
"What is that supposed to mean?" He asked me.
"Let me tell you." A voice said.
We both turned to see Elizabeth stride from across the room.
"The reason for which Kumar had tried to mate with you." She said.
Mate. I didn't really like the word she used.
"You're human, brother. Congratulations, you're out of the curse. You're out of the-" Her voice shook and she said her heart out loud.
"He doesn't love me. I saw the scene yesterday, when he was with the girl."
She called me the girl. Weird. I didn't like it either. Still I continued to listen to what she said.
"I wish I could help her but I couldn't. My power has become weaker. Now I can't touch anyone. And I need a body to possess. Again."
She looked at me and then continued to speak. "You've still got enough life force to make Kumar human. He's coming for you. And this time, he'll do anything to get to you. Anything."
"I'll not allow this. I-" William began.
"You're human now, brother. You're weak." She replied. He fell silent.
"But I can help you. I will not let him touch you this time."
"But why do you want to help me?" I asked.
"Can't you understand? I know I loved him, I killed my parents, I am the reason we all are here, and of course, Blaise. But now I know he didn't love me. I was crazy, and now I want to take revenge."
"So revenge is what you seek? Revenge is the only reason you're here for? You don't feel bad at all for-" I began.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for whatever I'd done in the past. I was a child. And I was unaware. I had been influenced by him, and had been so blind in love. Please understand. I'd cry if only I could. Unfortunately I can't. I'm not human."
I realised she was only talking to William this time. She only looked at him while talking. So I decided not to interrupt.
"What do we do to save her?" William asked harshly.
"Her?" She laughed. "You just see."

We were sitting on the sofa- William, Elizabeth and I. We were talking.
"Brother, do you know why you feel emotions? Why you were suddenly seen by her? Why you are able to touch now, able to feel now?" She asked.
"Do you know?" He asked curiously.
"Yes I do." She proudly said. "Her strong life force was first felt by Kumar, not even you Brother, though you were so close to her the whole time."
We listened with interest.
"You made her see the vision, which made her life force even stronger, as it provoked her to consider us and our existence."
"So basically I have a strong life force, but it's useful to only you guys?" I asked.
"You had a very strong life force, which has to be activated by a vision, and then it can be used by the people in the vision." She replied. The words used by her were so harsh and direct.
"Remember Pascal had attacked you in your dream? It was because he wanted to grab your attention specifically towards him." She said to me. She still talked about Kumar so proudly that I couldn't help but doubt her supporting us.
"Are you really going to help us?" I asked, suspicious.
She nodded. "Of course. I want to help you. A woman can't accept betrayal. From her only love."
"I still feel her life force." She continued. "But now it's not as prominent as before. I mean, if more is sucked out of her, she can die." She said it so emotionlessly.
I shrugged. William cozied me up with a gentle hug.
"You had begun to feel human since you had been around her, didn't you? It was because of her life force. Wow. Blaise had told me that he hadn't seen nor heard of such amount of life force ever." She said.
"So what is your plan?" I asked after some time, growing frustrated of her talks. I was getting scared with each passing moment, and she was enjoying it, and talking so excitedly, happily and cheerfully.
"I will possess you for sometime. And when he sleeps with you, he actually sleeps with me."
"What?" I cried, horrified. "No! I'll not allow it!"
"But-" William began.
"You're human, brother. And this is the only way left now." She replied.
"Shut up." I snapped.
She looked at William, but he said nothing.
"She's weaker now, so I can enter her. And don't worry, I promise I'll not suck out her life force. You will have to trust me."
"I don't want to vanish again. No. Please." I begged.
"I'll be watching over you." He said. "But how will it help her? I mean her body will still be-"
"The physical closeness is meant to connect the souls together. But if her very soul is absent, then the life force won't be transferred." She explained.
Absent. The very idea of me being absent in my body, made me feel scared.
A strong gust of wind filled the room. The air smelled damp and moist.
"He's here." She whispered. Suddenly, my mind was gripped by a force. Everything turned dark.
Don't scream, he'll hear.
I obeyed her. I didn't scream. I felt her consume my body, my organ system. I wasn't even a spectator anymore. Because I didn't exist.
Elizabeth's Point Of View
I moved her hand. No, not her hand, my hand. I've done this many times, and yet every time I enter another body, I feel renewed. And this body, this body had a lot of life force within it. I could feel it. I saw Blaise smirk at me. Brother walked out of the room in haste.
"He's human. And weak. He's running, for he knows he can't face me. Where will you escape now, Sarah?" Blaise grinned.
I hid my smile within myself. I won't even need her life force now.
