After the incident yesterday, Woz are able to beat Another Shinobi thanks to the Shinobi MiRidewatch. Now Woz has two MiRidewatch.

The girl is beastman, a half human and half beast. Even thought they are more human but they are called as monsters. But just like humans, they do have names.

Just this morning, the girl gain her conciousness but still really weak and down after what has happened to her. Rimuru, Woz and Claire went to see her.

Rimuru: Are you okay?

???: Y-Yes... Thank you... for saving me.

Rimuru: Don't thank me. Woz the one that saved you.

Woz: That's fine. As long as you are save.

???: I-I'm sorry... for the trouble I caused...

Claire: It's okay.

Woz: What is your name?

Nekio: Ne-Nekio.

Rimuru: So Nekio, what happened to you?

When Rimuru ask her the question, it make her look down and grip the blanket hard. That is something that she don't want to recall.

Nekio: A lot of things...

Rimuru: I won't ask if you don't want to answer it.

Nekio: I just... having hard time about it.

Claire: Then just rest. You'll get better soon.

Nekio: O-Okay...

Then Woz and Rimuru left. Claire is in charge on taking care of Nekio for awile until she fully recovered.

Rimuru is riding Ranga and went to met with Shizu at the cliff while Woz is sitting in front of the river. When he hear the sound of surrounding, it makes him really calm. When Woz lift his hand, a bird land on his finger.

Woz: This... is life.

Woz close his eyes while the bird keep chirping until it fly away when it heard something. Woz let out a sigh as he know that someone is behind him.

Woz: I know you're there, Marie.

He open his eyes and turn around. He saw Marie come out from behind the tree with embarrass blush at her cheeks. Woz easily know that she's there.

Marie: Geez, why did you so sharp?

Woz: That is my nature.

Then he look back at the river and then close his eyes as he keep hearing. Marie went to her and then she sit next to him.

Woz: Do you feel it?

Marie: What?

Woz: The sound.

Marie tries to hear anything but what she hear is only the sound from the river, leaves and the blowing wind. It is nothing to her.

Marie: I didn't hear anything.

Woz: It's because you didn't listen carefully.

Marie: Huh?

Woz: Close your eyes and listen.

Marie did what Woz said and tries to focus. Then she hear all of it. The sound of nature that makes anyone get calm when they heard it.

Marie: I can hear it. So... calm.

Woz: That's why you should be calm about things.

Then he open his eyes as so do Marie.

Woz: You must think about things what you like and what you hate. Just relax for a moment is the best way to feel calm.

Marie: This really make me feel calm.

Woz: Remember, sometime things doesn't move as you wish for. Everything has their own destiny.

Marie: But it is our choose to took it or defy it, right?

Woz: Of course. If we don't have our own destiny, we can make it. And if we have our own fate, sometime we can defy it and change our fate.

Marie: You're right.

Woz: Being ourself is what makes who we are.

Then it makes Marie think about all the things in her life before she become an adventurer. Suddenly, she grab Woz's hand making he look at her.

Marie: Woz-kun, I'd make my desicion! I want to stay here with you! That is what I want!

Woz: You want to stay here...?

Marie: Yes!

Woz: With me?

Marie: Eh?

Then she realise that she is holding Woz's hands and tell that she want to stay with him but it's actually the opposite what she wants to say. It make her whole face really red as tomato. Then she let go of Woz.

Marie: Wh-What I mean is to stay here! With you, Rimuru and Claire! That's right! W-With all of you! Th-That is what I wanted to say! That is it! Nothing more! That's all!!

Woz: Okay, okay, I get it. Just calm down.

Marie: I-I'm so sorry!

Woz: You're an interesting person. Fine, you can stay with us.

Marie: Really? You mean it?

Woz: Yeah. As long Rimuru and Claire didn't change their mind.

It makes both of them laugh. Then they stand up and walk back toward the village until they saw fire pillar blast toward the sky. It create a whirl of black clouds. Woz and Marie look at each as they start running back.

As they arrives, they saw Shizu is floating in the air. And then, she is inside a ball of flames create huge explosion blowing some to the ground.

Rimuru: Hey! Are everyone okay?

Kaval: What the hell is this? We charge extra for hazard pay, you know!

Gido: You should telling that to Fuze-san!

Woz: Waga Kyuseishu!

Marie: Rimuru!

Woz and Marie stop at the group as Marie is trying to help Eren stand up.

Eren: Shizu-san! Shizu-san!

Shizu is inside the fireball as the power gets even bigger.

Kaval: Shizu... Shizue Izawa?!

Eren: Huh?

Marie: Wait a minute... isn't that name...!

Gido: Isn't Shizue Izawa... the Conqueror of Flames?!

It makes question mark on Rimuru and Woz's head.

Eren: Y-You mean the hero of the guild from about 50 years ago?!

Marie: You're kidding!

Gido: The Conqueror of...

Kaval: Wasn't she retired already?

Then the flames change back into the pillar.

Rimuru: Rigurd, Rigur. Evacuate the others.

Woz: Tell Claire to take Nekio away from the fight. She is still injured.

Rigurd: But...

Rigur: Rimuru-sama... Woz-sama...

Rimuru: That's an order.

Woz: We cannot let any of you get hurt or killed.

Rigurd: Yes, sir! As you wish!

Then they both went to tell everyone to get away from scene.

Rimuru: Ranga, are you there?

Ranga: Right here, Master.

Rimuru: Once it's starts, you're up.

Ranga: Of course!

As the fire is getting stronger, Shizu's mask fall from her face showing her red burning eyes. Rimuru and Woz saw tears coming out from her eyes and they the fire cover her completely.

When the fire is cleared, it show a muscular spirit with black skin and burning mark on his body. He look at them with really mad face.

Kaval: The fire spirit, Ifrit...

Gido: There's no mistake, then. Shizu-san is...

Eren: ...the Legendary hero, the Conqueror of Flames. Th-There's no way we can win if we have to fight that.

Gido: Not a chance. We're going to die here. My life was so short.

Ifrit: Raaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!!

His shout creates powerful shockwave. Kaval create a magic barrier but it doesn't work. Three fire pillars appear around him. As the fire clears, it shows three dragon like creature, the Salamander.

As the smokes clear, it shows that Woz use it magic barrier to protect them while he already wear his belt. The Salamanders move around the village and burn everything in the way.

Rimuru: Damn it! We just built all that!

Woz: Hey! You can't just come here and burn things, you stupid demon!

Marie: He's a spirit.

Woz: I don't care! He just burn things around just like that!

Eren: Ouch...

Rimuru: You guys need to get out of here!

Kaval: We can't do that.

He grab his sword and take it out. The group ready themselves to fight as Marie also take out his rapier.

Kaval: I don't know why she's suddenly out for blood...

Gido: But she's one of us!

Eren: We can't just leave her!

Marie: I see Shizu as friend. I can't leave her like this!

Rimuru: All right. Just be careful.

He impressed that Kaval, Eren and Gido is trying to save Shizu. For Marie, it's already expected.

Rimuru(In mind): They're really nice guys.

Shinobi!

Woz: Henshin.

Touei! Future Time! Dare ja! Ore ja?! Ninja! Futuring Shinobi!! Shinobi!!!

Jikan Despear! Kamachitsugi!

Woz equipped his sickle.

Kaval: *laugh a bit* Never thought I'd see the day I'd fight a legendary hero. You never know what's going to happen in life.

Marie: Shizu, just hang on there!

Woz: With the power you gave me, I'm going to save you from yourself!

Rimuru: Ikuzo!

The Salamander is waiting for Ifrit's commands.

Rimuru: Hey! What is it you want?

Ifrit raise his hand and create a small fireball. He throw it at Rimuru but he dodge it.

Rimuru: Water Blade!

He shoot Water Blade at Ifrit but it change into steam right before it even hit him.

Woz: It's look like water type attack won't work on him.

Rimuru: Yeah, I should've expected that.

Then the Salamander start their moves toward them.

Eren: Icicle Lance!

A diamond shaped ice is blast toward a Salamander and able to injured it at the shoulder. Kaval and Gido are in defense position while Eren is using her magic.

-Icicle Lance-

Rimuru: Hey, you doing okay?

Eren: Just leave it to us! We've put our lives on the line to be adventurers, you know!

Kaval: Hey, gimme a break. I'm the leader, remember? Well, whatever. We're got the first one!

Gido: We're all in the same boat, as they say!

Rimuru: I'll leave it to you, then. But don't over do it!

Woz: Marie, you give Kaval and his group a backup!

Marie: What?!

Woz: Just go help them!

Marie: Jeez, okay!

Then she went to the group.

Woz: Rimuru, let me handle the second one. You fight the third Salamander!

Rimuru: Okay!

Then Woz run in ninja speed toward one of the Salamander.

Rimuru(In mind): It's look like depend on the situation, he will call me by my name.

Woz is running while Ranga come out from the shadow of Rimuru. Then Rimuru land on him as Ranga is dodging the Salamander's fire breath.

Then the Salamander blast fire breath at Woz making him stop on his track. He spin his sickle and create an blade made of air.

Woz: Air Blade!

-Air Blade-

The Air Blade cut through the flames as it hit the Salamander at the chest making it roar in pain.

Woz: Just like ice attack, wind also work!

Ranga is dodging the attack from the Salamander while waiting for Rimuru's command.

Rimuru: Just concentrate on evading it, I'll do the attacking!

Ranga: Understood!

Rimuru: Woz! We need to take care of those guys before we can face Ifrit!

Woz: Yes, sir!

Then Woz dash toward the Salamander as it flies toward him. Then the Rimuru got an idea when he saw the ice attack is working on the Salamander.

Rimuru: Her attack is working, isn't it?

Great Sage: Magic attacks are effective against the spirits.

Rimuru: Which means... Ranga!

Ranga: Yes!

Then Ranga head toward the group.

Rimuru: Eren! Fire that attack at me!

Eren: Eh?! Um, I don't know if I can...

Rimuru: Just do it! Hurry!

Eren: Don't complain to me later! Icicle Lance!

She shoot the ice at Rimuru. He jump and eat the attack.

Eren: What?! My magic...

After the ice attack is analyzed, now Rimuru can use ice attack.

Rimuru: All right!

Ranga stop and run back to the Salamander. He jumping around as Rimuru release ice dust around the Salamander. The ice dust form dozens of ice lance.

Rimuru: Icicle Shotgun!

The ice lance blast at the Salamander, hitting it all over the body causing it to explode.

-Icicle Shotgun-

Rimuru: Yes!

Now there's two left. The Salamander flies really close to the group and use a self destruct, creating powerful explosion that send them away.

Rimuru: Are you guy oka-- Nop, they aren't.

Marie still able to stand. Rimuru hop down from Ranga.

Rimuru: Ranga, take these four to someplace safe.

Ranga: But...

Rimuru: Go!

Marie: Rimuru, I still can fight!

Rimuru: No! You need to get to safety with them!

Marie: But I--

Rimuru: Did you forget Woz's order? We cannot let any of you die! Believe in me and Woz!

Marie: Okay...

Meanwhile, Woz is still fighting with the last Salamander. He spin his sickle and throw it at the Salamander and it dodge the attack. When it turn to Woz, he already disappear.

Woz: You can't beat me! Why is that?

The Salamander saw Woz is at the mid air while holding the lever. He pull it.

Beyond the Time!!

Woz: I'm stronger than you!

He push the lever.

Ninpo: Jikan Shibari no Jutsu!!!

The Salamander is tied with it's own shadow as green and purple energy covered Woz's right leg. He do the flying kick and hit the Salamander really hard at the chest. It cries in pain and explode.

(A/N: I make some of the finisher in my own version)

Woz land on the ground perfectly as he catch his sickle. Then he saw Ranga is carrying to the group away from the fight and Rimuru hop next to him.

Rimuru: Woz, we'll take down Ifrit.

Woz: Yeah.

Rimuru: Now, we can fight without holding back.

Ifrit create some clones and create a circle with it surround both Rimuru and Woz. As they descend near the ground, it start to heat up.

Rimuru change into a spring like form as Woz spin his sickle creating wind around it.

Rimuru: Take this! Icicle Shotgun!

Woz: Air Blade!

They blast their attack at Ifrit and his clones. They able to wipe out all the clones but then a magic circle appear under them.

Ifrit: I-yaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!!

-Flare Circle-

Flames coming out from the circle creating a fire piller. It traps both Rimuru and Woz inside. Woz just quiet while Rimuru get really shocked.

Rimuru(In mind): There should've something else I could do! I can't believe I fell for the enemy's trap! Instead of talking about seals, I should've hit them with Black Lightning! And after I was just reincarnated here as a slime! Is this really the end?!

Woz write something in his notepad.

Rimuru(In mind): It was a short life... rather, a short slife. Actually, I don't seem to be taking any damage. How long is it gonna take? Is this some kind of tease?

Great Sage: Answer. This is because of Woz's notepad. He written something to both of you.

Then Woz show what he write before to Rimuru.

Rimuru: *reading* "Now Rimuru and Woz has Fire Resistance. All fire type attack will now no effects on them."

Silences...

Rimuru: You should do that from the start!!

Woz: You didn't ask from the beginning.

Rimuru: Oh, well. We can nullify fire attacks, this'll be easy mode! It's all good!

Woz: That is why this is...

Rimuru: ...according to plan!

As Ifriti think this is over, he floats away as steel threads tied around his body. He turn back to the fire pillar as he gets mad.

Woz snapped his finger and the fire pillar disappear, showing Rimuru and Woz is perfect condition. They didn't even have a single scratch on their body.

Rimuru: Do you just do something to us?

Ifrit tries to burn the threads but it didn't work.

Rimuru: I underestimated you, but not as much as you underestimated me.

Ifrit breath fire at Rimuru but it didn't even do anything to him.

Woz: Same trick won't work twice.

Rimuru: My turn.

Great Sage: Use unique skill "Predator"?

Rimuru use his skill and swallow Ifrit whole. After that, the skies turn back into clear blue sky. Shizu is now separated from Ifrit. Rimuru and Woz saw Shizu lying on the ground, unconcious.

Rimuru: Shizu-san!

Woz: Are you alright?!

Inside of Rimuru, Ifrit is looking around while he stand in the dark. He confused on where he is and blast flames but the fire just move endlessly. He stop the flames and heard a voice.

???: Give up, Ifrit.

It cause Ifrit to look up. He saw two bright colour shining eyes.

???: You cannot break out of this place.

His eyes widen as he recognise the voice and the tense of the magic power.

???: You are not match for Rimuru. He is my sworn friend!

Then the black fog shows the voice owner. It was Veldora.

Veldora: I am the Storm Dragon, Veldora Tempest. It would be my pleasure to face you.

And both of them are face-to-face with each other.

Veldora: Hehehehe... Hehehehe! Ahahahaha! Ahahahahahaha...!!!

(Time Skip)

Back at the real world, Shizu has regain her conciousness but her body is very weak. It's impossible for her to survive after Ifrit cause damage to her body.

When Rimuru and Woz are with her, she told everything about herself when she arrives in this world. How she was saved by a hero. How she met some more people that summoned into this world. How she become a teacher to some kids that can't become a hero.

Shizu: It was so much fun.

She remember all her five students that are really happy everytime she with them. She also have a student that left her when they able to surpass her.

Shizu: Some of them eventually went off on their own and left me...

Woz(In mind): That is sad...

Shizu: But one of them went on and become the Grandmaster.

Rimuru: Grandmaster?

Shizu: The one responsible for overseeing all the guilds in every country.

Rimuru: That's sounds like a big deal!

Woz: And huge responsibility.

Shizu: Yes, it is. So I thought there's nothing left that I can teach anyone. And then, possibly because I'm nearing the end of my life, it becomes more impossible to surpress Ifrit's will. There was only one thing that I could remember, so I decided to go on a journey.

Rimuru: What did you remember?

Shizu: My search for the man who summoned. And return the watch that I have to it's owner.

Woz: And you did return it. Thank you for that. As for the man you're searching for...

Rimuru: Do you want revenge?

Shizu: I don't know... but... There was something I wanted to find out about him. That's why I...

She remember when she first met with Kaval, Eren and Gido. Marie also join them in the journey to the Great Forest of Jura.

Shizu: They were such nice people. A little danger-prone, though. And Marie is such a nice girl.

Rimuru: That's true.

Shizu: It was so much fun... But now... Hey, Slime-san, Woz-san, what's your name?

Rimuru: Huh? I told you, I'm Rimuru.

Woz: And I am Woz.

Shizu: No, I mean your real name.

Rimuru: Oh... It's Satoru. Mikami Satoru.

Shizu: And you?

Woz: I am Asura. Midori Asura.

Shizu: I'm Shizue. Izawa Shizue.

Rimuru: Shizue-san, you should sleep now.

Woz: Satoru's right. You need some rest.

Shizu: Satoru-san, I'd like to ask you a favor. Asura-san, I hope you agree with it. May I?

Rimuru: Of course. Ask me anything.

Shizu: Please... eat me.

It makes both Rimuru and Woz really suprised. If Rimuru eat Shizu, it's almost impossible for her to survive anymore.

Shizu: Just like you ate the curse that was cast on me. It makes me really happy.

Woz: Shizue, what are you saying?!

Shizu: I dislike this world... But still, I can't abhor it. Just like that man... So... That's why... I don't want to be absorbed by this world.

Then Shizu reach and put her hand on Rimuru.

Shizu: This is... my last request. Would you... let me rest inside you?

It make Rimuru think for a moment.

Woz: *look down* Satoru, I think it's better for us to grant Shizue's last request. Don't let her suffer anymore.

Rimuru: Okay.

It make Shizu smile and a tear come out of her eyes. She remove her hand from Rimuru.

Rimuru: What's the man's name?

Shizu: Leon Cromwell.

Rimuru: Leon Cromwell...

Shizu: One of the most powerful Demon Lords.

Rimuru: What do you want to find out about him?

Shizu speaks but her voice is very small. Rimuru and Woz hear what she said closely.

Shizu: I just wanted him to acknowledge that I, this human, had existed... perhaps. And... if those kids could be save... and returned to... their world...

Then Rimuru make a hand and put it on Shizu's hand as Woz do the same.

Rimuru: I swear in the name of Mikami Satoru... no, Rimuru Tempest, that I will make certain the Demon Lord Leon Cromwell will heard your wishes!

Woz: And I, Woz Midori, will help his saviour to save those childrens!

Shizu: Thank... you...

She become old and her hair turn from black into white. She has passed.

Rimuru: Shizu-san, my destined one... Rest in peace within me.

Great Sage: Use unique skill "Predator"? Yes, or no?

Rimuru: Yes.

Woz: Shizu... rest in piece.

Rimuru(In mind): So she can dream happy dreams forever and never have to wake for them.

He use his skill to swallow her into his body.

(Time Skip)

When the rest came to visit, Kaval, Eren, Gido and Marie are really suprised. That now Shizu, correction, Rimuru has taken Shizu's look. But in male look. Woz told them what has happened to Shizu.

Kaval: I see. So Shizu-san passed on.

Then the group narrow their eyes at Rimuru.

Gido: Are you really Rimuru?

Rigurd: There can be no doubt!

Ranga: Do you really think I couldn't recognized my own master just because his body changed?!

Kaval: Uh, no, I didn't mean it that way... It just, well...

They look back at Rimuru.

Kaval: You look like a bit smaller Shizu-san.

Rimuru: It's true. See?

He change back into his slime form.

Kaval: Wow!

Gido: That's really remarkable!

Eren: Did you eat Shizu-san? The way you ate Ifrit?

Marie: Is this true, Rimuru?

Woz: This actually... just what she wanted. Shizu know she won't last longer.

Rimuru: It is the only burial I can give her. I'm sorry I didn't consult you, her travel companions, first.

Kaval: Well... If it's what Shizu-san wanted, there was no other choice.

Rimuru: Sorry, Eren, Marie. You two probably think this was unreasonable.

Eren: *shake her hand* No. I just wish I could say goodbye to her.

Rimuru: Shizu-san said that she had fun traveling with you guys. Except for Marie, though she also said you were a bit danger-prone.

It makes Eren and Gido look at Kaval. Marie did the same thing.

Kaval: Hey! What are you looking me that way?!

Eren: Well, you know...

Gido: Yeah.

Kaval: Well, what about the time you got caught in the pitfall?!

Gido: That was because Eren pushed me!

Eren: Hey, don't blame me for that! A spider landed on me out of nowhere!

Rimuru(In mind): This suits them a lot better than being all sad and somber. Right, Shizu-san?

Marie: Can you guys stop arguing?

Woz: I should say that you guys relied too much on Shizu and Marie, right?

It cause Rigurd and Ranga to nod. Then Woz walk out from the tent as he walk away.

Calling! Calling!

He take out his Faizphone and answer the call.

Woz: Hello?

Kami-sama(Phone): Heyo, Woz-kun! How are you doing?

Woz: Kami-sama?

Kami-sama(Phone): Yes, yes.

Woz: You could call earlier! I might how to save Shizu if I call you!

Kami-sama(Phone): Sorry, but there's no way to save her.

Woz: And how do I and Rimuru find this Maoh Leon? I didn't fin anything in my notepad!

Kami-sama(Phone): I believe you need to find the answer yourself. You and Rimuru have inherited Shizu's will, right? It's your job to complete it.

Woz: That's not the kind of answer I was expecting.

Kami-sama(Phone): I know you're upset, but that is this world's rule.

Woz: I know that.

Kami-sama(Phone): That is why, I send something into your notepad as gifts. With that, you can make your own team to support Rimuru in his path be a savior.

Woz: Gifts?

Kami-sama(Phone): Well, good luck in your life.

Then he hung up.

Woz: What is with this old man?! Even though is Kami-sama...!!

He let out a sigh.

Woz: Let's see what he gave me.

He open his notepad and look at the storage. As he press the app, it shows four items. The Oni String, Beast Ring, Heart Henshin Card, and Cell Medals.

Woz: Th-This is...!

Next Day...

Kaval, Eren and Gido thank Rimuru and Woz for everything. They even got some new gears to wear. They are about to leave until...

Kaval/Eren/Gido: Ehhh...?! You're staying?!

Marie: Yes.

Kaval: Hey, are you okay with that?!

Eren: B-But...!

Gido: You could just say things like that!

Marie: Actually, I can. I decided to stay here.

Kaval: Are you sure?

Marie: *nod* Yeah! I want to stay here with Rimuru, Woz and Claire!

Gido: If that's what you want...

Kaval: It's look like we can't change your mind.

Eren: Marie-san, take care of yourself!

Marie: I will.

Eren and Marie hugged each other. After they let go, Kaval, Eren and Gido waves at them as they walk back to their country. Marie also waves at them.

At a tent, Woz is talking with Nekio about herself. And how did she met with Res.

Woz: I see, you adopted by the greatest ninja, Hanzo, right?

Nekio: Yes. Even though I'm a beastman, he loves me like his own daughter.

Woz: That's good.

Nekio: But, I'm not strong as my brothers... And I said something terrible to my father... that's why...!

She look at Woz.

Nekio: When I become a monster, it was you the one that saved me, right?

Woz: Yes.

Nekio: Please, take me as your surbodinate!

Woz: What?

Nekio: *bow down* I want to be even stronger! So I can return to my village! Take me as your surbodinate! Please!

Woz think for a moment. He is Rimuru's retainer. Rimuru saw him as a friend but not as a surbodinate. If he wants to take one, that won't be a problem.

Woz: Fine. I'll take you.

Nekio: *look up* Are you serious?

Woz: But, you must listen to my command. As well as Rimuru, because he also a leader and my savior. Got it?

Nekio: Yes, sir! Thank you very much! Thank you very much!

Woz: You welcome.

After that day, things in the village has getting even better. They also made a tombstone for Shizu. But the new fight will be coming to them, and they will went to the fight.
