Addie Johnson (Addie "John Cena" according to Maddie)

I walk home quietly. Did I really just do that? More or less than that he agreed. That shocked me, because I'm literally just a random girl asking for some dude (that can play guitar very well) for his number.

I actually hope he isn't creepy, he said he wasn't, but still. I mean, I need to make a friend or two this summer, right? They played really well though, and I'm impressed. They seemed nice enough to talk to me.

Soon enough I find myself back at my open garage. I slip my shoes off and walk inside. It's only 2pm, and my dads humming a random tune while hanging up some pictures in the hall. I walk up behind him and look at the one he's hanging.

An old picture of me. Like, old. Well, young I guess, I was only 3. It's me splashing in the waves at the beach back at home. I guess my dad noticed my presence now, because he says "It's you Ads, only 3 years old, and look at you now. " He ruffled my hair.

"Yeah, look at me now." And I did a little spin. We both laugh. "Hey, you know how you've always wanted another pet since Dusty?" He turned to face me. "Yeah.. And where is this going?"

He laughs at me. "You want one, yes?" I shake my head. "Duh. I'm getting a little lonely here." I jokingly roll my eyes. "Well, you've mentioned a cat, right?" My eyes probably looked like light bulbs just went off.

After our old cat, Dusty, passed away a year ago, I've wanted to get another one. Cats are so cuddly oh my gosh. And really fluffy, depending on the breed.

"Alright. We'll get one on Friday at the shelter down town. Sound good?" He smiled at me. "Of course! Oh my god thank you so much." I say, then hugging him.

"Don't mention it. Now go do something and don't pester me!" I laugh and walk upstairs back to my room.

My dad has moved my old desk along with the chair, side table, and my bed frame up to my room now, all set up. I'll just pile all my junk up there.

Actually, I'll try to make it look nice. Maybe if my room is cleaner I'll be a better organized person? Probably not, but oh well. It'll be a change for me.

I still had a few boxes in my room with all the small things, and I pulled my laptop out of one of the boxes next to my bed, walking over to my desk and taking a seat. I opened it and logged on, pulling up Pandora to play something.

Then my phone buzzed on my bed. Just the default buzz though. It's not Beth because she put her ringtone on my phone as "Baby" by Justin Bieber. Don't ask why, she set it up, not me.

I reach to grab it, (almost falling off my spinning desk chair) to see who it is. I unlock my phone because I didn't recognize the number.

I started texting Addie a little bit ago, and she seems pretty cool. Well, I'd like to meet up again, at a gig or somewhere. Coffee? I wonder if she likes coffee. Girls like Starbucks, right? I don't know. I don't drink coffee. Invite her over? Nah, to soon, I feel like she'd think I'm just trying to get with her.

She mentioned the game "20 questions" and I agreed; I wanted to know more about her.

I learned that she loves coffee, her favorite color is teal, and she also loves oranges and pizza. Well, at least she likes coffee. And pizza. She'd get along with the guys just because of that.

We should play again tomorrow at the park, I want to see her again, to talk in person.
