"Everyone ready?" Alex asked and we all nodded.

"Great, let's get going" I whispered and we split up.

Me and Alex walked up to the police officer outside the police station with a fake smile on our faces. James and Jasmine were going to climb through the vents to get to officer Robin's office and get the key from above with Jasmine's athletic skills. Me and Alex were going to distract the officer's so that James and Jasmine can get into the vents without being noticed.

"Hello officer" I greeted.

"What are you teenagers doing up this late?" he asked straight away.

"We were just taking a walk" Alex said as he took my hand in his.

"Aw! Well aren't you two a cute couple?" the officer gushed and I blushed.

I hate this so much

"Thank you officer" I said, faking a cheery voice even though inside, I'm stabbing him a hundred times, no joke there.

"She's a keeper son" he said to Alex, pointing at me.

"Yes she is" Alex said, looking at me with a smile on his face.

I can't believe I'm saying this but his actually good at this, I mean, if I didn't know about the plan, I would of actually believed him but I know about it so yeah. I smiled up at him, totally fake though, and the officer kept gushing about us. I'm starting to wonder if this guy is actually a guy or a girl with how much he acts like it and not doing his job but if it keeps him distracted then I don't care because already Jasmine and James got into the vents, I just hope they get the key on time because we can't distract him forever or else I'll go crazy pretending to be a couple with Alex....Again!

"I'm sure you two will happily married in the near future" the officer said making me nearly gag but I had to bite my lip to prevent that from happening so I didn't talk but Alex did even though he looked like he wanted to gag as well as I did.

"I sure hope so" Alex said even though he was being sarcastic by the tone in his voice but the the officer obviously didn't notice it because he smiled at us.

"You two should head off now" he said and me and Alex's eyes widen.

Jasmine's Pov

"Hurry up" James whispered.

"I'm trying" I hissed.

I was currently dangling from the vents with James holding onto my legs as I tried to get the key that was hanging to the coat rack. Officer Robin was sleeping in his chair and snoring like the pig he is. I reached my hand out a little further so that I could grab the keys.

"Almost there....got it!" I whispered once I had the keys in my hand.

"Pull me up James" I whispered to James and he nodded.

James started to pull me up and once we were back in the vents, we shut the vents up just when Robin woke up with a loud snore. James and me froze, hoping he didn't see us. Robin shrugged and went back to sleep. We sighed of relief and started to crawl back the out of the vents. We were at the end of the vents that lead to the outside if the station and James pushed the mini gate out. James jumped out first and helped me out second. I jumped down and dusted myself but when I looked up, my jaw dropped in shock.

"What are they doing?!" I whispered/yelled.

"I'm going to kill Alex" James growled.

Alex was currently kissing Emily and they had their arms around each other. The officer was gushing about them and taking a shit load of photos on his phone. James stomped over to them with me trailing behind him. James pulled Alex away from Emily by his shirt and lifted him up from the ground a bit.

"Ok, shows over!" James said before he started walking away, dragging Alex with him.

"Bye love birds!" the officer shouted and James growled. I think I saw Emily's right eye twitch, poor girl. We got into the car and James drove off.

"What the heck was that?!" James shouted.

"The officer asked for photos of us being a 'couple' together and he did that" Emily explained as she pointed her arm out to Alex and scowling at him

"You're an idiot Alex, Emily might kill you now" I said, glancing at Emily.

"I might" James said.

"No James, I can handle this myself" Emily said and James sighed.

"Fine" James mumbled.

Emily's Pov

We finally got back to the hotel and me and Allex walked into the apartment. We sat on the sofa and I took out the keys. I unlocked mine first and then Alex's cuffs. I sighed of relief once the cuffs were off my wrist but my wrist was red and had a purple bruise. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed an ice pack to heal my swollen wrist. I sat on the counter as Alex walked into the kitchen and sat on the chair.

"Why did you do that back at the station?" I asked.

"It was the only way he'd believe us" Alex answered but I didn't believe one bit of it.

"Are you absolutely sure?" I asked and he nodded.

"Ok then" I said.

I jumped off the counter and walked to my room. I closed the door and sat on my bed. I still had the ice pack in my hands. I looked over at the calender and my eyes widen. Next week is new years eve. Wow, I must of lost track of time but can you blame me?

I sighed and fell back on the bed. I heard the doorbell ring and I groaned. I didn't want to get up, I was too tired and just wanted to just stay in my bed. I heard Alex calling my name and I rolled my eyes. I stood up and lazily walked outside my room and to the front door. I put the ice pack on the kitchen counter and walked to the front door again but my eyes widen when I saw who was at the door.

"Mike? What are you doing here? And how do you know where I'm staying at?" I asked.

"I can tell you that if you let me talk to you" Mike said, looking at me with pleading eyes and I sighed.

"Fine, come in" I said, motioning my head for him to walk inside.

Alex walked away, probably to his room or something. Mike sat on the chair, in the kitchen as I made hot chocolate for the both of us. Once I was done making the hot chocolate, I gave one to Mike and I sat in front of him. I took a sip of my drink.

"So, what are you doing here Mike?" I asked again.

"I want to know why you had ran away, back at the party, two days ago" Mike said.

"Oh" I whispered as I looked down at my cup of hot beverage in my hand.

"So, why did you?" Mike asked, tilting his head to the side.

"Because....well, because I'm supposed to hate you for what you did before, when we were dating" I mumbled.

"I told you I was sorry" Mike said and I looked up to glare at him.

"Listen, 'sorry' isn't gonna cut it for what you did, I can't even trust you anymore!" I shouted.

"Please!" Mike begged.

"Sorry but it's not gonna work this time" I said, crossing my arms.

"I won't stop annoying you" Mike threatened, if you even consider that as a threat?

"I don't care what you do, I still won't get back together with you, nor will I ever for that matter" I said as I poked his chest and narrowing my eyes at him.

"We'll see about that" Mike said, glaring at me before getting up and leaving.

I slammed the front door shut and screamed in frustration as I stomped my foot. That guy gets on my nerves sometimes that I just want to...to....to just kill him with my bare hands if I have to! Argh! What did I ever find in him? Sure he was good looking and strong but now, I'm starting to think he got a little crazy about getting me back now. Well, he can try but it won't work because as I said before, I'm not here to date, I'm here to enjoy myself not get messed up with love and this drama shit! I wish I never met Mike or gone out with him, ever but that's too late now. I heard footsteps and I looked up to see Alex walking up to me.

"What happened?" Alex asked.

"Like you care!" I shouted before running to my room and closing the door.

I fell backwards on my bed and sighed. I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed. I need to get my mind off all of this drama and there's only one person that can help me out at this time of day. I took my phone out and dialed their number. Thank goodness they gave me their number or else.

"Hello?"

"Hey Garrett"

"Emily?"

"Yup"

"What's wrong?" Garrett asked, concerned.

"Nothing but I need someone to talk to now, can you meet me at the café please?" I asked.

"Sure, I'll be their in ten minutes" Garrett said.

"Thanks, bye" I said.

"Bye" Garrett said before hanging up the phone.

I put my phone on the night stand and got some clothes out to change out of the dress I was still wearing. I changed into some warmer clothes and I put my coat on. I put my phone in my pocket, along with some money and I left the apartment. I went down to the lobby and to the café. I walked inside and sat down at a booth, by the window. I sighed as I looked outside the window.

"Emily"

I looked to the other side to see Garrett, smiling down at me and I smiled back. Garrett sat in front of me.

"Are you ok Emily?" Garrett asked.

"Yeah" I mumbled.

"Emily"

"Ok, I'm not ok"

"What happened?" Garrett asked and I sighed.

"My ex boyfriend is what's wrong" I said as I ran my fingers through my hair again.

"What's his name?" Garrett asked.

"You don't know him but it's Mike" I said and Garrett's eyes widen for some reason.

"I know him, he used to go to my school before we graduated" Garrett said and now my eyes widen.

"Really?" I asked in shock and he nodded.

"He used to be a huge player in our school till we graduated, I don't know if he still is but he probably is" Garrett explained.

"Wait a minute, so you mean to tell me that since he came to your school, he's been a player?" I asked.

"Pretty much" Garrett said.

"I knew he still didn't change" I said as I scowled and crossed my arms.

"What do you mean?" Garrett asked.

"When I dated him the year before he came here, he cheated on me just after a month we started dating" I explained.

"I'm so sorry" Garrett said with a frown but I smiled at him.

"Don't worry, I don't care anymore" I said, waving my hand out.

"Glad you got over that jackass" Garrett said and I chuckled.

"True that" I agreed. I looked at the time on my watch and my eyes widen when it read 12:34am.

"I got to go, it's getting late" I said as I stood up and Garrett stood up as well.

"Me too, see you next time?" Garrett asked.

"Totally, bye Garrett and thanks " I said as I hugged him and he hugged back.

"No problem" Garrett said.

We pulled away from the hug and I ran out of the café and back to the apartment. I went up the elevator and to apartment door. I unlocked the door and tiptoed in till I heard the most aweful sound ever, Sandy's fucking high pitched voice.

"What do you mean she has to stay another month?!" I heard the bitch yell from down the hall.

I walked inside and slammed the door shut. The apartment went quiet and I saw Sandy walk into the living room. Sandy looked at me, well, more like glared at me and I glared back at her.

"What are you doing here?" I demanded.

"To see Alex, what else?" Sandy said, looking at her fake nails.

"Well, you can get out of here before I kick your ass out of here myself!" I shouted as I pointed towards the door.

"You don't live here!" Sandy shouted back.

"I don't care, just leave already!" I shouted in frustration.

"Just leave Sandy" I heard Alex's husky voice.

"But-"

Alex glared at her and she shut up. She walked towards the door and before she could leave, she glared at me. I flipped her off and she closed the door behind her.

"I'm going to sleep" I mumbled.

I walked towards my room and changed into my pyjamas. I crawled into my bed and curled up into my bed to keep my warm from the winter coldness outside. I closed my eyes and into my dreamland where there was no Mike, Alex, Sandy or any kind of drama.
