Chapter 73~ Come Home, Don't Fight
"Kab! Kab! Kab!" Boo Boo was fighting his best along side me.
I never knew that I could fight, I never had any training. Does it have to do something with Olivine? It must be... other wise, I would be dead right now!
My scythe was curved towards both blades and kept a neon pink color to illuminate the shadows. The blades were dark but had a hint of silver on the underside. I couldn't believe how easy it was to move! I feel as if I were made for this!
"Liv, behind you!" Allen called from the back door.
The being made a downward slash for me. With incredible agility I blocked it with my weapon. The force was almost too much on my small statured body, I needed training. Luckily, the bottom of my scythe had a ready blade. I whipped it around for it to result in victory. The shadowy figure was now sliced in half, bleeding false truths. Decaying ooze splattered the ground and sizzled like acid.
"Pumpkaboo, Dark Pulse!" A wave of physical nightmares pulsated the air before landing on the being. It was a critical hit!
The being screeched in agony from my advantage. My body acted on its own, slashing vigorously to keep the pieces falling. One by one, its limbs slid off and sizzled on the grass. Faster and faster my legs moved. I couldn't see my own surroundings, that's how fast I was moving.
"ꎇꀎ꓄ꀤ꒒ꍟ ... 🅨🅞🅤🅡 🅛🅤🅒🅚 🅙🅤🅢🅣 🅡🅐🅝 🅞🅤🅣!" It pieced itself back together to create an even bigger monster than before. It towered over the house and appeared to reach the heavens. That's when I noticed that it was consuming the surrounding darkness.
My hands trembled, my companion shivered, the air turned stale. Allen couldn't take his useless character any longer and tried to come for me.
"No! Don't come any--" the monster made a beeline for him.
My blades acted as a shield to defect the blasts, twirling rapidly, sending nightmares flying. The area was crawling with them. Greatest fears, terrifying nightmares, and lurking shadows. Dark spirits mocked my every move to annoy me, but they were failing. Allen was left wide-eyed in disbelief. He must not have been accustomed to the supernatural.
"Can't you do anything else besides slicing it?!" He was frantic to escape once he reached my side.
"Do you think I would have waited this long if I knew any?" I retorted.
My grip tightened as Boo Boo used more attacks. They seemed to be working pretty well, but not enough. The being morphed a claw from the shadows as we braced for impact. However, my hands released my weapon, my legs created a defensive stance, and my arms remained crossed with bared fingers. Next thing I knew, the being stopped.
No, it couldn't move.
As if tearing into the air, my hands separated the beast's claws with ease as it followed my motions. It soon dispersed back into the dammed nightmare that engulfed the once peaceful backyard. My arms swirled and the being swirled with it, signaling that I was in control. Without knowing at first, the darkness slowly did my bidding, pulsating from my aura, waiting for my next command. I waved my body back and forth to create a steady flow. The dark swished with me as my arms guided the current.
"What the hell are you doing?" Allen was unpleased.
"Shhhh! I'm onto something!" I whispered to him.
The being was unable to break free, it was caught in the tailwind. Suddenly, my heart skipped a beat again. This time it was unbearable. No matter what, I had to keep the current going.
Just a little more... a little more.. and there!
I flung the current into the being as fast as the speed of light. The sun started to shine though the thick black fog that hung over the area. The being was forced into a vortex-like sphere, sucking up all of the ooze and false truths.
"River Styx Vortex!" The words felt like they belonged to me. So easy, so smooth, so malevolent.
Allen was getting swept into the current and I had to assist him. Stuck in the ground my scythe went, acting as an anchor to support our weight. We clasped our hands as the sucking wind pulled our mass. Boo Boo managed to anchor himself into the ground with his pumpkin-like body.
"What ever you do, Don't. Let. Go," Allen tightened his grip.
"Trying not to!" I called back over the howling winds.
Allen was slipping from my grasp, he was quite heavy. My hand couldn't hold onto the staff of my weapon for much longer. My hair whipped around as the wind whispered all my fears. Insults that were kept deep down resurfaced to create a recipe for disaster.
"Pure white skin? That cunt needs to die!"
"Crimson eyes? Kill that monster!"
"Kill it! Burn the bitch at the stake!"
"Freak! You're albino pale!"
"They only pretended to love you..."
"You don't deserve our sympathy!"
"You were not supposed to survive..."
"Olivine is the better half..."
"You should have kept cutting yourself!"
"Your death will be the world's victory ..."
"Burden? More like attention whore!"
"Suffer... suffer and repent your birth!"
"Cursed Child!"
"Cursed Child..."
"ᏟuᏒsᎬᎠ ᏟhᎥᏞᎠ!"
"C⃟u⃟r⃟s⃟e⃟d⃟ C⃟h⃟i⃟l⃟d⃟..."
"ꉓꀎꋪꌗꍟꀸ ꉓꃅꀤ꒒ꀸ!"
My eyes stung and my heart grew weary. The words impaled the mental barriers that held my soul together. On both physical objects, the emotional infliction caused my muscles to flinch or tighten. My breathing grew irregular, my surroundings didn't matter, I couldn't contain my overflowing emotions.
The voices kept whispering those horrid words. They echoed louder and louder until they drowned out the world. I wanted to scream. I wanted to kill it. I wanted to end it.
"Stop it!" I demanded. "Stop saying that!"
"Oliv--"
"That's not true!"
"Olivia!" Allen's voice finally broke through the wall.
I snapped out of my trance to realize that the wind had stopped. My body was huddled into a ball, my hands were over my ears. I unfurled myself and stood back up, wiping the trailing tears from the madness.
"Hey, are you okay?" Allen noticed my odd actions and tried to assist me.
"Yeah, I-I'm fine," I stammered, pulling my scything from the ground. My back was to him to avoid his sight of my frustrated tears.
I gripped my scythe with shaky hands. The last thing I wanted was to be called weak. But the voices never stopped, they only boiled down. Round and round they swirled in my head, chanting the same derogatory dictum over and over.
"Leave... leave me alone..." I whispered to empty space. "Shut up or I'll kill you," I lost myself in the madness.
"ωḙ'ᖱ ℓ!кḙ т✺ ṧḙḙ ⑂✺ṳ тԻ⑂..." The voices challenge aloud. That's when I found the source... the being.
It was now a raven shaded orb that levitated a few feet above the ground. Those enraging whispers were coming from that sphere of emotional illness. I eyed it closely to await its next move... but it only kept floating.
"ահɑԵ ɑɾҽ վօմ աɑíԵíղց ƒօɾ? ꀸꀤꀸ ꌩꂦꀎ
ꋪꍟꍏ꒒ꀤꁴꍟ ꌩꂦꀎꋪ ᖘ꒒ꍏꉓꍟ ꀤꈤ ꓄ꃅꍟ ꀎꈤꀤᐯꍟꋪꌗꍟ?" It taunted harshly.
"No, I won't let an inhuman being speak lowly of me. If anyone should find their place, it's you!"
My body was lost in my madness. My sight turned a deep red, locking onto my target. Heart thumping, feet racing, shouts releasing into the air. I was not myself anymore. I was not in control.
When my body was a few feet away from my target, I leapt into the air as the monster within me added strength to my weary bones. Suddenly, my scythe of neon pulsated in my hands. I felt it shift into another form, one that possessed my energy. A monstrous silver hammer with black and pink drills on each side was now in my hands. I couldn't believe that I was strong enough to bring it up, only to have it soar downwards with the weigh of the world.
"Thor's Judgement! Repent Motherfucker!"
The force of impact could compare with a modern day bomb, the weight could compare with a civil war cannon ball. My hammer pierced through the being's energy source and squashed its sphere shaped body. The shadows broke free like a river dam, spreading across the grass, screeching in agony. However, the drills locked into the earth and sucked the shadows back into my weapon who digested them easily. When the last one was forced against its will into the gates of tartarus, my hammer returned to its scythe form.
Allen, and what seemed to be Kuro, started running towards me as everything returned to normal. If there wasn't a huge dent in the ground, I'd say that nothing ever happened. The emotion possessing me was running out of time. My body could barely hold my physical state... I feel like sleeping.
"Hime-sama!" Kuro called.
"Olivia!" Allen shouted.
Turning to them wasn't easy, but I tried to not show my exhausted state. With a small smile, I waved. My scythe had to be used for support, I could feel my body begin to give out.
"What the hell did you just do? You are fucking badass!" Allen praised.
"Are you okay? You need to rest what rittre strength you have reft," Kuro advised.
"No, I'm... fine. I can... make..." I couldn't finish before I fell into one of their arms. My sight failed me.
I can only sense the scent of sweet green tea...
~ Slight Recovery ~
"... wake... prease..."
"Is she... right?... Liv..."
"Hime... ganbare..."
"Ollie will... stay with..."
"Gomen ne... honto..."
Chopped words could be heard around me. I think that Kuro and Allen were next to me. My eyes wouldn't focus on them, they were blurry and seemed distant. Forcing myself to wake up, I came to realize that I was in my room. Allen was at my bed side while Kuro was seated by the desk, both held worried faces with steady breaths. Boo Boo immediately floated over to me and demanded my comfort.
"Pumpka! Kab kab Pumpka!" he cried, nuzzling into my embrace.
"It's okay, Boo Boo. Everything's alright now, calm down," I gave him a reassuring smile.
"Kaboo? Pumpkaboo..." he remained in my arms.
"Wow, not even going to acknowledge us? Harsh," Allen teased.
"Sorry... everything just happened so fast," my eyes landed on Kuro.
"Hime-sama, prease don't scare me rike that. Your darkness courd have overcome you," he walked past Allen to place a cup of tea into my hands.
I gave him a slight nod before indulging into the herbal tea. I couldn't describe what kind it was, but it was slightly bitter. He scooted the chair closer to my bed as Allen gave him a cold stare. He didn't seem to care about Allen's visual insults, all he cared about as my well being.
"You were awesome out there! But please, warn me next time when you decide to be badass. You really gave me a scare."
"You're not... scolding me?" I looked between the two.
"What happened out there was not your fault, Liv. However, I need you to tell me what happened out there," Allen wasn't sugarcoating it.
"What do you mean?" I took another sip of tea.
"Who we saw was not you at the end. Your mind... was not there," Kuro was deeply saddened.
"Some of the black stuff from that creature seeped into your skin after you defeated it."
"Arr of that power that you consumed was too much for you..."
I stopped listening when I realized that I was still in my new clothes from the fight. My boots were neatly placed by the desk, my scythe was safely placed by the window. That way, no one could trip over it and get a blade to the face.
The irregular heartbeat remained calm during this time. On the contrary, I feel more languid than before. It's as if I ran a marathon on an empty stomach. The tea is aiding me greatly, but I don't feel too well. Maybe I'm not cut out to be a fighter... maybe the voices were right. Maybe Olivine is the better half...
Boo Boo gave me a saddened look before he floated over to Kuro. What ever he was saying was momentarily paused from Boo Boo's curiosity. Boo Boo orbited around Kuro's head before he happily decided that Kuro checks out alright. Kuro accepted Boo Boo's interest and caressed his pumpkin body.
"You have a Pokémon. No wonder you were abre to rast so rong," he concluded.
"Boo Boo fought well, I'm proud of him..." I slid out of bed to complete my next task.
"Don't get up. You need to rest," Allen tried to stop me.
"No, I need to retract my scythe..." I made my way over to the window and placed my hand on the smooth rod that connected the blades.
I could still feel the intense power that resided within it, calling me into battle once again. I placed my hands on opposite sides to prepare a twirling motion. Lifting it off the ground, the blades spun like a fan as I gave it whirl. It quickly compacted into a smaller form, one that resembled a barrette. It was bow shaped and kept a curvy striped pattern. Black on the outside, then neon pink, next was silver, and the middle was snow white like my skin. It appeared to be a button that if pressed could cause the scythe to take form. The bow plopped into my hands with a comfortable aura.
As if on cue, the room began to spin, my nose began to run. My sight grew blurry, my muscles relaxed. I fell onto something soft... no, something firm. My body is numb and my mouth tastes like metal. I can hear the low voice of the others that's fighting against the ringing in my ears.
Everything is dark now... there is nothing to be seen.

*Olivine's POV*
So... about the... fight. Well, Cody had taken me back to Ivan's house so I could regain my strength. He left, as usual, before Ivan could thank him. After I recovered, I healed Yao of his wounds and tried to explain as much as I could to him. Same thing with Ivan along with the Baltic Trio. They also aided Yao to bring him back to a stable condition. I mean, Yao is okay. Sure he lost a lot of blood, but other than that he's alright. Even though I took much of the damage I continued to help the others instead of resting. I'm a lot better now! Toris made a hearty soup for everyone as Ivan and Yao recovered. The other two Baltics decided to help him to be of some help.
Right now, I just got off the phone with my dad. He only called to check up on me as the good parent that he was. I decided not to lie to him and tell him what happened... that was a bad idea. He now wants me to come home. I tried to reason with him since I didn't really come here by choice. However, he responded with the advice to control my traveling powers. Again, I don't know how to control them... I actually haven't even tried. But in my defense, I don't know where to start! Its not like I can ask my Mother who may or may not be non-existent. I doubt that Cody could help since he's a waterbender. Maybe that odd book has some way to guide me... I still need to read over the book of spells that dad gave to me for Christmas...
Wow, that was a lot of information! Sorry I haven't been writing in you lately, Its been an eventful couple of months. I've been neglecting you, diary. I'm really lucky that you poofed along with me! Maybe Dad won't be so mad once he understands... I've never been in trouble before. Well, maybe I was when I lived with Cody, but I don't remember those times. Anyway~ I've been feeling a little weak ever since I let myself recover. I feel like I just ran a marathon on an empty stomach!
Well, I've got to go. Someone just came through the door and I want to see who it is. Oh! and I'm back into my Chibi form now. After all, I need to conserve energy. I'll write in you later!
~ Olivine
Closing my dairy, I overheard an intense conversation that was coming from the hallway. Then, someone slammed a door with a following thud.
"Belarus! Go home~!" I think that was Ivan's voice. He sounds scared...
I jumped off the bed and peered through the door. They were down at the end of the hall. There was a teenage girl that resembled Ivan in a way. The girl had long, straight platinum blonde hair and dark blue eyes. Her chest was very noticeable and that made me uncomfortable. She wore a dark purple dress that trailed down to her knees, a white hair ribbon, a white waist apron with a striped ribbon that held the dress, and black Mary Jane shoes with black stockings. She did appear a little freighting, but there must be a reason to that.
"Big brother~ I'm here to comfort you~ Come out and let me love you!" She was banging on the door, scratching at the wood.
"No! Natalia, you're scaring me~!" he cowered away.
Nonchalantly, I strolled out and made my way towards her. If Ivan needs my help, then I'll be there for him! Natalia, I'm guessing that's her name, didn't notice me until I was right beside her. She paused mid-sentence to stare at me as if I were foreign.
"H-Hello!" I smiled.
She kept staring...
I stared back...
She kept staring...
I stared back...
This is awkward...
Ivan came out to see why she was so quiet. Yao was on his feet now and he wanted to know too. Natalia looked to Ivan while pointing at me.
"You had a baby without me? Why didn't you tell me that you were together?!" She was inferring that Yao and Ivan were a couple and that I was their love child...
If I'm anyone's love child, I'm a PruCan baby! I would love to be their love child, but I'm Mattie's little sister... so that wouldn't work out right. I wonder how they're doing...
"Aiyah! Not again..." Yao sighed as Ivan ran after Natalia.
"Who w-was that?" I looked up to Yao who had bandages on his face.
"That was Russia's younger sister, aru," he replied. "She comes around ever so often, poor girl." He walked back to his room to rest a little longer.
Since I had nothing to do at the moment, I decided to follow Ivan and Natalia. But just as I came upon the living room, I overheard the sound of drums. They would stop for a brief second before starting back up again as if they were on the move. The source of the drums came in clear view when a tall woman appeared in front of me.
Along with being tall, she was curvy with very large breasts that made me really uncomfortable. She wore a long-sleeved white blouse with blue overalls. She also resembled Russia with her round and youthful face. Her short blonde hair was held back with a headband and hair clips and her teal eyes gave off a maternal expression.
"And who must you be?" she asked with the sweetest tone.
I was caught off guard by her kindness and couldn't help but to blush, "I'm O-Olivine..."
"You have such a pretty name," she bent down towards me, "My name's Irina, I'm Ivan's older sister."
"Wh-What country a-are you? I-If you don't m-mind me asking?"
"Ukraine, my little sister is the country of Belarus. She can be a handful..." Her gentle smile never faded.

Seems like a great place to end it. The Halloween special is coming up, even though Halloween has passed for me. I still like all of the free candy~ (=^x^=)
This month, November 2015, marks the first Anniversary of this book! *throws confetti* (I forgot the specific day so I'm celebrating all month)
I can't believe that I've been writing this book for at least a year! Time really flies by, doesn't it? I hope to make this a series and welcome the many years to come!
