The next morning, Daddy gave me a bath to wash the stress off my body. He said that it would make me feel better and it could calm my turning mind. To my surprise, it did! This reminded me of when he first took me in, I was really happy that he did. I would still be afraid of a bathtub full of water if he didn't tell me that I would be okay.

After I was all dried off and dressed for the day, I was confronted by Alfred. We were at the table eating breakfast when he offered to "educate" me about popular shows in his country. This gave me an idea to learn more about him. Also, it would give me a chance to relax. These past few days have been so eventful. So I accepted his offer with glee and we ventured into his room after breakfast.

"Let's start with some of my favorite cartoons!" He shouted with excitement as he searched through his phone.

I climbed on his bed and peered over to his phone. I didn't want to be nosy, but he didn't seem to mind. He actually put an arm around me to give me a better look.

"These are the cartoons that you need to know. Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Avatar: The Last Air Bender, and Avatar: The Legend Of Korra," He showed me the pictures on his phone.

"I'm g-guessing Gravity Falls is wh-what got you i-into... crypt... crypt... cryptography?" I stumbled on the forgotten word.

"Yes! I was so psyched when I saw the encryptions at the end of the episodes! The ones during season two are pretty tough to cipher though..."

"Wh-What's Gravity Falls about?" I asked.

"It's about the mystery twins, Dipper and Mabel Pines that get sent to Gravity Falls, Oregon for the summer. Strange things happen in that town and it's up to them to uncover them! I love how they keep you wanting more after each episode!" His excitement was over flowing.

"That s-sounds so cool! Wh-What about Steven U-Universe?" I urged.

"Did someone say Steven Universe?" Papa opened the door, as if he was listening the whole time.

"Francis... you like Steven Universe?" Alfred cautiously asked.

"Of course! Rose Quartz iz simply gorgeous! While Sapphire and Ruby are so adorable!" I think this is what they call "fangirling." To the max.

"Have you seen the intro to season two? It's so epic!"

"I know right?! I love 'ow changed zhe pace iz and all of zhe new songs!"

They continued to share their excitement until they remembered that I was in the room. They made a sorry face and decided to let me watch their fandoms.

~ After Gravity Universe/Steven Falls ~

"Wh-Why isn't the g-government funding this?! Th-This is amazing!" I was overflowing with excitement.

"I take it that you like them now?" Alfred smirked.

"Yes! I w-wanna watch m-more please~!"

"Alright alright! But first we need to get you caught up with MLP, the new season has already aired and it's so totally awesome!"

I heard Papa gasp when he heard the words "MLP." Alfred seemed surprised once again.

"Don't tell me... you're a Brony too?" He asked slowly.

"Are zhe Cutie Mark Crusaders still looking for zheir cutie marks?" Papa smirked.

Papa sat upon Alfred's bed, "Just don't tell Angleterre."

~ Time Skip ~

We ended up spending most of the day watching cartoons and eating Pocky. Then we started to watch some anime and discovered that Papa is a total fanboy. I found it a little funny that he can act so much like a girl even though he's not one. Alfred seemed to open up to him more since we've uncovered his secret. I think this kind of bonding is what they needed.

"Oh my gawd, I just remembered something!" Alfred announced as he scrambled into his computer chair.

"Wh-What is it?" I asked as Papa picked me up so I could see.

"There's a new Vocaloid out! And she can dance, like, hella good," He expressed with hand motions.

He clicked to this website called Youtube and typed some words. A few seconds later, different videos popped up and they all had different titles. Alfred clicked on the first one and we read the title.

"Shooting Star by Teddyloid feat. IA? Like... ee-ahh?" I questioned.

"Yes, all I can tell you is that she's amazing. Watch. Now," Alfred had speakers on the side of his computer so I guess we're listening to it out loud.

~ Let's Dance! -3- ~

"Oh - Oh - doko made mo ikeru yo
Oh - Oh - doko made mo kagayaku yo" I sang while reading some manga.

"Wouldn't it be so cool to actually understand Japanese? I know enough words to make a sentence, but I don't know how to put them together..." Alfred sulked.

"I-I can understand J-Japanese, their sentence st-structure is SOV. Subject. O-Object. Verb," I explained with confidence.

I felt their eyes glue themselves to me. They were astonished and thought I was kidding. But they already know that I'm full of surprises so it wouldn't be too hard to believe.

"How did you learn Japanese so fast?!" Alfred came really close to my face, eager to know.

"W-Well, I actually kn-know quite a bit o-of different languages. I k-kinda forgot to t-tell you guys..." I stated sheepishly. "I l-learned them while I-I was away a-at the other c-countries houses."

" 'ow many languages do you know?" Papa asked.

"Let's see... Français, Deutsch, Italiano, 日本語 (Nihongo- Japanese), Ελληνικά (Elli̱niká- Greek), and English," I counted each language on my fingers.

Alfred literally squealed, "Does this mean I have my own little Rosetta Stone?"

"What?"

"I just wanna learn Japanese~ can you teach me please~" he pleaded with starry eyes.

Before I could answer, someone opened the door.

"So this is where everyone was," Daddy stated. "How long have you guys been up here?"

Alfred checked the clock, "It's already 2pm!"

"I'm guessing it's most of the day?"

"Time flies when you're watching anime," Alfred said with a cheeky grin.

Daddy sighed and hung his head low, "She's turning into you."

"N-No I'm not!" I stated as I climbed off of the bed and came over to him. "I'm st-still going to b-be Olivine, no m-matter what!"

He paused and looked at me. Then he smiled softly and picked me up.

"I'm very glad to know that," he nuzzled my face and kissed my cheek. "Now come on, let's go outside. Actually, you two could use some nature. Come with us."

Daddy started to walk into the hallway.

"B-But... anime! And there's no wifi outside! There's bugs and stuff out there! The outernet is a dangerous world..." Alfred whined.

Daddy turned to him with a displeased face and said, "Does it look like I care?" Then he turned back around to head for the stairs.

"But... England~" I could feel Alfred sulking. His depression cloud loomed over his head like a ghost.

I started to giggle at both of their actions. They really act like family. Even though they annoy each other, they still love each other enough to stay together. I'm really glad to be apart their clan, the FACE family.

~ *Pushes Alfred outside * ~

"I wanna to back inside~" Alfred cried.

"A little sun has never hurt anyone," Daddy stated.

"Except people who are allergic to the sun... it's a real sad disease," I corrected nonchalantly as I kicked my shoes off.

They looked at me funny.

"What? I r-remember weird things a-at weird times," I shrugged.

"Ma cheri, why are you taking your shoes off? Papa asked.

"I can't see with them on," I tucked my socks inside my shoes and set them by the door.

"Dudette, last time I checked, you see with your eyes," Alfred corrected.

"Nuh-uh, it's p-part of my E-Earth bending. I can s-sense the presence o-of living things, I b-bet I'll be able t-to see in the d-dark this way," my heart raced with excitement.

"Earth bending? Ahhh~! You're like Toph!" Alfred squealed.

"Toff?" My mind spun in circles.

"Toph Beifong from Avatar: The Last Air Bender. She's an Earth bender like you. Ooh~ do we get to see you Earth bend today?!" He really has a lot of energy for someone who does nothing but surf the internet all day.

"Hmm m-maybe. But f-for now, let's e-explore!" I announced as I led the way.

"Let's not get lost, okay? All the trees look the same so it would be easy to lose your way," Daddy warned.

"Don't w-worry, I have a f-feeling that I've b-been through this wh-whole forest before. S-Some places are st-starting to come b-back to me..." my eyes remained shut as far off memories caressed my mind.

Leading the way, the sounds of the forest started to fill my pores. The calm, quiet area around me became my playground, the subtle wind hinted the coming summer, the citrus sun peeked through the tall trees, and distant drops of water rushed through a downwards slope of peace. I'm not sure if they hear what I hear, but this sound was heaven for me.

Even the unbalanced rhythm of my companions steps disappeared, becoming lost in the song of the forest. Sweet birds serenaded the dull air as the grass danced under my little feet. An easy smile crawled on my face as my breathing adjusted to the slow tempo.

"Olivine? Are you still here?" Someone asked, snapping me back into reality.

"Hmm? Yeah, I'm still here..." I spoke soft.

"You're just really quiet," I realized that it was Daddy's voice that I heard.

"Sorry, the forest decided to sing a lullaby today..." My eyes had a hard time focusing as I turned to face them.

"My Darling... awaken. Let your calling engulf you. Bring balance to this poor forest. keep the poison away and bring back the fairies. I miss you... my darling," A soothing voice spoke softly in my head.

Her words entered my heart and made me warm inside. Then I felt something inside of me change. A light of green emitted from my tiny body, levitating me only inches off the ground. They shielded their eyes from the brightness, my eyes took care of that job instantly. When I felt the soft grass on my feet once more, I noticed my sudden transformation.

Vines with little leaves snaked themselves onto my legs as a dress of nature found its way onto my body. The top part had vines that made an "x" from my shoulders, crossing over my chest. A gemstone was nicely placed in the middle. From the bottom of the crossing vines, cool, light green colored fabric wrapped around my body to create a one piece. On my arms were sleeves that started at my forearms and stopped at a ring that was slipped onto my middle finger. Around my waist was a belt of blue hydrangea flowers that parted the next fabric. This one seemed to part down the middle and ease off to brush against my legs. Lastly, a flower crown of blue and green hydrangeas was placed on top of my head.

"Mon dieu, you're so tres beau!" Papa complimented.

"Merci Papa!" I giggled as I spun around.

"You're just full of surprises, aren't cha!" Alfred commented.

"Another thing to research..." Daddy sighed.

"I feel so energized! You know what? I think that I..." I looked around the trees and nodded.

"I~ wanna swing~ from the trees over here~! And the trees over there~!" I chirped as vines shot from my hands and wrapped themselves around nearby branches.

"OMG she's like Spiderman! My little sister is so cool!" Alfred exclaimed.

"Olivine be careful up there!" Someone warned, their voice was lost in the rush of the wind.

"Follow me!" I announced.

Surprisingly, my flower crown stayed on my head through the whole journey. I felt like a monkey swinging through the jungle. This feeling, this rush of excitement, this everlasting grin made me feel so different. I don't recall doing this before with Cody. I guess I gained some new powers... this is so cool!

~ Watch out for that tree! ~

When I finally made it to our destination, I threw my legs over a low branch and hung upside down. I saw them running up to me, they weren't too far behind. When they were only a few feet away, the vines on my legs hugged the branch and lowered me onto the ground. When my hands touched the soft grass, the vines released their hold and snaked back onto my legs. Tumbling back onto my feet, Alfred plopped over and breathed heavily.

"That... was... totally... awesome..." he smiled.

"I'm... getting to old... for zhis..." Papa panted.

Daddy couldn't say a word, I think he's dying. Not literally of course, but he seemed to be really out of shape.

"Th-There's a place th-that I want to sh-show you," my lips spoke.

Waiting for everyone to catch their breath, I sifted through the tall grass and revealed a secret place. It was one of the secret places that Cody and I used to go to. The sky met the land like a beautiful painting, the grass danced in the passing wind, and the cliff of medium hight made this seem like a painting in a gallery.

My family gasped in awe from the Earth's beauty. Everything here was made by nature, over years and years, the land shifted into a secret oasis. We gathered and sat in the middle of the scene to calm our beating hearts. I laid on my back, closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and felt everything.

"What is this place?" Daddy asked as he scooted next to me.

"I u-used to come h-here with a friend," my eyes opened to stare at the sky.

A cool silence passed before I heard him speak again, "Is this friend still around?"

"Yes... He's always watching over me. He's not imaginary, he's just really awkward around other people. He's probably around here somewhere..." I mumbled that last part.

We spend the lasting day in the opening. We watched the lazy clouds roll by and make shapes of our imagination. We talked about little things and discovered others. Alfred stopped whining about being outside, he seemed to be calm and enjoying the quiet forest. They all realized how loud daily life really was. Also, time seems to slow down when you're starting at the sky. Even when you watch the cool light blue sea turn to a warm scarlet red as the citrus sun sails across the vast canvas.

When the early crickets chirped from the sinking sun, Alfred became curious. I didn't pay much mind to him, but what he said caught our attention.

"Hey guys! I found something!" He yelled from afar.

We traveled over to where he was to see something peculiar. Carved into a tree was a heart with some letters inside.

"O + C 4 EVR. Bro, someone was here a long time ago," Alfred stated.

My body froze, my face grew hot. I knew exactly who did that. And that person isn't going to hear the end of it.

"Olivine? Do you know somezhing about zhis?" Papa noticed my actions.

"Nope! I know nothing!" I tried to hide my face.

"You seem awfully flustered to not know anything," Daddy smirked.

"I know nothing about that! I swear..." My face feels like the sun.

They all started smiling at me as if they knew something.

"Does the "C" have to do with that friend you were talking about?" Daddy pressed with a sly expression.

I flinched but turned around.

Dammit Cody! You Pedo, why did you have to do this?! I don't want to explain you to them, they might think that I like you! I mean, I do, but only as a friend! This is all your fault you Pedo!
