"Mame-chan?" Kiku-san asked. From the kitchen.

"Y-Yes?" I replied from the couch.

"Do you want me to make you some rice barrs?"

Rice... barrs? I think he's saying rice balls...

"O-Okay..."

I climbed down and winced. My legs still hurt a bit, but I can walk. Kiku-san must have heard me whimper because he looked at me.

"Are you okay? Do you need my herp?" Kiku-san started walking towards me.

Heh heh, his accent is so funny~

"N-No, I g-got it," I insisted.

Although, I fell over once I took two steps. At least I'm getting a little farther...

"Are you arright?" He crouched down to my aid.

"Y-Yeah..." I stood up and winced again.

I heard him sigh and say, "Gomen ne, I'm onry doing this because you are kawaii..." Then he picked me up and brought me over to a kitchen chair. Once I was set, he breathed out.

"A-Am I heavy?" I asked, looking up at him

"Not at arr, Gomen ne sai, I have a personar space probrem," he scratched the back of his head in embarrassment.

I noticed that he was wearing a red and white track suit with white socks. I guess that, that is his 'lazy' clothes.

He went over to the counter to wash his hands and make rice balls as I watched. Soon after, as kiku-san was concentrating, I heard him hum a song. I'm not sure what it was, but then he started singing it.

"Anata ni kyou mo hohoemi wo makokoro wo komete omotenashi
Kigaru ni kite kudasai ne itsudemo go issho itashimasu~" he sang with passion.

His voice is so... Calming. Simply beautiful! I've never heard anything like it! I wonder if anyone has ever complimented him on that...

When he finished making the rice balls, he brought them over to me. I decided to speak up... let's see how this goes.

"Kiku-san, y-your voice is s-so beautiful," I complimented.

"Y-You heard me singing?!" He managed to say as he turned to face me. I guess he didn't realize what he was doing...

"Yes, w-what song were y-you singing?"

I could see a light blush appear on his face. "Anata ni kyou mo hohoemi wo. It's a song that I wrote," he answered.

"May you smile again today..." the words rolled off my tongue.

"You understand Japanese?" Kiku-san was very surprised.

"I-It just kind of c-clicked when I h-heard you singing," I smiled.

I pulled back my overly long sleeves to pick up a rice ball. I took one bite and my face lit up.

"Oishī~" I managed to say.

"I'm grad that you rike them."

His accent, it's cute!

I noticed that he was staring at me with a red face. I asked if he was okay and he replied, "Hai, I'm okay. Its just... you are so adorabre..."

This made my face grow hot as I took another bite. He took a step towards me and asked, "I don't mean to intrude but... may I kiss your forehead?"

My face matched my hoodie and my heart raced. I slowly nodded and he leaned down to kiss it.

~ In Canada ~

*Matthew's POV*

"Hey um... Gil?" He passed by my door and stopped when he heard his name.

"Ja Birdie?" He came into my room.

"I was wondering... when are you leaving?" I tried to hide the sorrow in my voice.

"Uh... in about two days, vhy do jou ask?"

At least he's not leaving tomorrow...

"I was just wondering..." I halfway lied.

"Vhat's vrong Birdie?" Gil came super close to me.

Oh maple he caught onto me!

"N-Nothing!" I tried to back away to give us some space as I waved my hands in front of myself.

Gil didn't seem so convinced. "Birdie, vhat is it?"

I held my arm and felt my heart begin to race. "When will you return?"

"I guess whenever Vest kicks me out again," Gil's cheeky smile didn't help me.

My body acted on its own, bringing me to his lips in a passionate kiss. I felt his arms wrap around me as I clung onto his shirt.

"I... I don't want you to leave. What am I to you?" My nagging thoughts came out as I buried my face in his shirt.

I feel so girlish for saying that...

"I'll be back Birdie, I promise. Und jou're mein boyfriend!" He smiled.

My heart skipped a beat and I held onto him tighter. He never really asked me out... so just like that, I'm his?

"So just like that?" I lifted my head. "I'm your boyfriend?"

"Ja, I declare zhat you're mine! So you have no choice."

I guess this is his way of asking me out...

"So... I'm yours?" My face is as red as a maple leaf.

"Ja und I'm jours too," he smiled sheepishly as he placed his forehead upon mine.

I feel like my heart is going to explode. My body feels hot as Gil grips me tighter. Although, the look in his crimson eyes are very... suggestive.

"Birdie," He whispered huskily.

I felt a bulge on my thigh and my body froze. Now I understand why he's looking at me like that... he wants me.

Oh maple leaf...

He crushed our lips together and left me breathless. Our lips met many times before he gave me a chance to breathe.

"Birdie, I know zhat jou vanted to take zhis slow... but jou're so damn adorable, I can't take it."

Then he continued on, taking me over to my bed.

~ In Germany ~

*Olivine's POV*

Feli was giving me a piggy back ride around the house since I can/can't walk. Although, he told me to not touch the left side of his head.

"Please-a bambino, don't touch-a my curl~" he pleaded.

"W-What does it d-do?" I asked, trying to pull it.

"Jou're too young to know," Ludwig didn't even look up from his book.

I wanna know~ but I don't want to get in trouble...

Feli placed me on the floor and bent down to my level. That's when he opened his eyes.

"Bambino, your-a eyes are so-a pretty!" He looked into them and was in awe. "They're like-a mini rainbows~!"

"Grazie mille, Feli~!" My cheeks lit up.

"Sai italiano?" Feli asked.

"Sì, sono speciale come quella," I grinned.

~ That night ~

Feli found a spare room for me. It was a simple room, bed, window, closet... perfect for me. I wonder how I'll be able to get some more clothes though...

I'm also curious about how I'm going to go back to Canada. If I knew how I did it, I'd just go back the way I came. I just... poofed over here. I wish I had my AD... and Fluttershy... I miss Mattie already...

"Bambino?" Feli poked his head through the door.

"Y-Yes?" I wiped away my naive tears.

"What's-a wrong?" He walked over to my bed.

"Nothing," I lied.

"You were-a crying, are you-a homesick?" He picked me up and placed me in his lap.

I nodded and held back my tears. He held me close and cooed, "Veeee~"

"F-Feli, why are y-you so nice t-to me? I k-kinda just met y-you..." I managed to say as warm tears fell down my cheeks.

"Why? You're just-a little bambino, you can't do any harm. I was once-a little bambino and-a I was sad when people left-a me alone. A little kindness can go-a long way," he kissed my tears away.

"Grazie... Grazie per essere così gentile con mi..." I buried my face in his shirt just as I felt him smile and hold me tighter.
