A/N: Why do I always write these so late at night? Meh. School's started, ew. And I'm writing a Seven watching Leo's memories fic but I won't publish it until I've completed it. If anyone's interested, I'll let you know when I publish it.

As the footage cut to Annabeth and Magnus' next day at their grandparents, Percy watched Annabeth protectively, hoping that she was not holding back any emotions or thoughts. His eyes flicked to the screen. He could only help her if he understood completely.

Magnus was sneaking towards the shed. When he saw Grandpa hovering around it, he ducked behind the barn, the camera half showing it's wooden, mossy surface and half showing Grandpa dawdling. "C'mon, leave..." Magnus muttered quietly, hopping impatiently from foot to foot.

"ADHD?" Percy guessed, knowing that Magnus was a demigod, but also not certain of the attributes of a Norse demigod. "No. Just ebullient." Annabeth replied. "I don't know what that means." "You wouldn't."

After a few minutes of just hanging around the shed, Grandpa eventually stalked off towards the mansion, muttering inaudibly to himself. "Yes!" Magnus hissed, before hurrying towards the shed. He reached up to the handle, twisted, and was granted entrance. "Thank God he didn't lock it."

"Gods." Annabeth corrected impulsively. "Gods, Annabeth. He was only 5. He didn't know." Percy said, using Annabeth's own words against her. She scowled and threw a chip (A/N: *shuddering* it's so hard to write that, being British) at his face, which landed squarely on his nose, before rolling into his lap. Grinning, he popped it in his mouth before throwing one back at her. She caught in her mouth.

Annabeth was filming photographs of her father, uncle and aunt from the kitchen windowsill. A shape formed in the reflection of the window. Startled, she spun around. Nana stood in front of her, holding strong bleach.

"How can she be so light footed?" Percy wondered. "I mean, she's old. Old people aren't exactly stealthy." He continued in an attempt to justify his thought.

Nothing can be seen in the shed; it is too dark. Something breaks under the weight of Magnus' feet as he scrambles around, searching for a light switch. Eventually, there is a clicking noise as Magnus flipped the switch. Dim yellow light hit the walls. The walls, floor and ceiling were brown and moulding. Magnus had broken a pair of silver framed glasses that had been lying on the floor. A broken shelf hung pointlessly from the wall. Rusting tools were tossed here and there. Magnus progressed further into the room.

In Nana's other hand, there was a stained cloth. She held the cloth and bleach out to Annabeth, who grabbed them with some caution. "You're nice and small, dear." Nana said at last. "Erm..." Annabeth regained her composure, trying to straighten out as much as possible for a 6 year old. "Everyone says I'm a good size for my age." She replied. "Yes, yes, but you're a child. So- would you mind getting inside the oven.....to clean it?" Nana said it politely, but somehow it didn't seem much like a question, and more like a threat.

Percy whistled lowly. "Well, hello there, Gretel." He said to Annabeth. Something about the comparison seemed to bother Annabeth, but she rolled her eyes anyway. "I always thought that faerie tales were too advanced for you." She teased.

Slowly, carefully, Magnus peeled back the mouldy linen cloth that covered a large, lumpy pile surrounded by flies.

"Never trust what the flies do." Percy decided. "That sounds like advice you would give to Frank in order to stop him from eating ice cream." Annabeth replied.

"Ew!" Magnus cried out, jumping backwards in regret and disgust. Immediately after the linen cloth was removed, the flies landed on what had been hidden. Adult diapers (A/N: Nappies sounds way better but I'm using American language as much as possible). Covered with scarlet blood stains. Horrified, Magnus covered the diapers again and ran out of the shed, dragging the camera behind him.

"That's gross." Percy said. He had seen his fair share of blood, but none of that was on an adult diaper. Being female, and having gone through puberty, Annabeth was accustomed to seeing blood on white cotton things. Thus, she only muttered a fed up 'Seaweed Brain'.

"Sure. I'll help." Annabeth said, moving towards the oven. She set the camera down on the kitchen counter, in front of the oven. Nana opened the oven, gesturing at it as though she were welcoming Annabeth in to her home. Reaching in warily, Annabeth scrubbed at the dirt and grime. "Oh, no dear. You need to get all the way in." Nana said, giving Annabeth's back a slight, supposedly encouraging pat. Not one to reveal surprise, Annabeth said "Alright."

"I would never climb inside an oven. That's just creepy and you'll probably get killed." "I wasn't killed, though, was I?" "True. But, it was still stupid." Annabeth glared at Percy. "Don't call me stupid."

Annabeth climbed into the oven completely, since she was small enough to fit. As soon as she was inside fully, Nana slammed the oven door shut, and watched her from the other side of the glass. Her hands hovered over the hob, considering whether or not to switch on the heat. But, before she could, Annabeth began to turn around again, and so Nana quickly opened the oven door, acting like she's never closed it.

"She was going to kill you!" Percy exclaimed angrily, feeling fierce loyalty towards his girlfriend.

Magnus ran into the kitchen, and ended up skidding into Annabeth, so that they both fell to the floor on their knees and elbows. "Be careful there, dears." Nana warned, before hobbling off into another room. "You look scared." Annabeth noted. Magnus set down the camera, which caught his unhappy scowl. "You would be more scared of you went in the shed like you made me do." He complained. "And what did you see?" Annabeth asked, picking up on the negativity radiating from her cousin. "Loads of blood on giant diapers." He explained briefly. Annabeth frowned. "That's an adult diaper, you butt. And it's probably just from some health problem."

"Anti climatic but relieving." Percy said. "If only. Don't presume things." Annabeth sighed.

"I had way more reason to be scared than you." Annabeth added. Magnus looked at her, attempting to raise his eyebrows, as he had seen her do. "Really? How?" He asked, with both challenge and fear. "Nana made me get inside the oven to clean it. And she closed the door, but she doesn't know that I know that." "Okay, Gretel."

Annabeth grinned and turned to Percy. "You have the same sense of humour as my cousin did when he was five." She told him. "At least, I have a sense of humour, unlike Jason." He defended. "Piper will charmspeak the entire Aphrodite Cabin to stab you with stilettos if she hears you say that." Annabeth said. "I'm fairly sure I could fight the Aphrodite Cabin, if I actually wanted to."

"Does that make you greedy, cause-of-all-problems Hansel?" Annabeth countered. "No one's trying to make me into a turkey, Gretel." Magnus replied. He sat down, grinning. Annabeth rolled her eyes, but sat down too.

A/N: So yeah. That's another chapter done. Hope you enjoyed. Sorry I'm not posting very regularly, but I'm busy with lots of work towards important exams. I'm writing this for a bit at night instead of reading fanfiction all the time, though. Well, see you soon,
