The car was buzzing with music, Taehyung being his usual self and singing along which concentrated on driving as well. But the lady beside him wasn't in the mood to enjoy the music. Her mind was making up million scenarios where his family would critique her, although it was nothing more than a dinner with her friend's family it held a lot of importance to her.

He assured her that his family were dying to see his best friend about whom he always brags about. She turned to ask him something but her words stuck in her throat looking at how handsome he looked even in his casual fit. The curly locks bouncing as he jammed to the songs on the radio never looked so tempting as they looked at that moment, she wanted to run her fingers through his silky locks.

"Yahh! Why are you oogling like that?" Taehyung comments making her snap out of her thoughts and look away in embarrassment, her cheeks flushed red. "Nothing you look good that's why" she responds confidently with a sly smirk making him blush. This wasn't something new among them, they flirted with each other all the time, teasing each other and making the other blush. But at the end of the day, they took it as friendly antics to annoy each other and nothing more.

Maybe Y/N does feel some butterflies swarming in her tummy at times but she became a professional in hiding her feelings. "Y/N-ah, you're gonna make me fall for you at this rate" he casually comments having no idea what effect they have caused on the chunky woman beside him who was indeed flustered and bit on her bottom lip to control her wide grin.

"Shut it Tae, you say that all the time" she comments after collecting herself, "hey! It's only fair to tease you back when you started it first" he defends to which she shakes her head. They both go back to jamming the songs.

Bicena Restaurant, 7:30PM

The tall and handsome man checked his wrist watch for the ntg time that evening, his patience running thin waiting for the person who was so dear to him. He was supposed to meet the person and have dinner with them at 7PM, he got there a good fifteen minutes early and now it's half an hour later than the time they decided on and the other person was yet to show up.

The man wanted to ring up the latter but was hesitant, "Would she think I'm being clingy?" He thought and heaved an exasperated sigh. He stands from his seat to leave, he turns around swiftly not noticing the presence behind him which leads to the female behind him to lose balance and fall backward but his quick response saves the day.

He grips the female by her hips and pulls her up saving the girl from falling on her expensive ass. She clings onto the handsome man and breathes heavily with closed eyes, a moment later she opens her eyes and looks at the man with her innocent eyes making the man's heart skip a beat.

"Oppa!" The girl utters making him smile, "I'm sorry, I didn't notice you" he says letting go of the hug and leading her to take her seat, his hand resting on her hips he leads her to the seat and pulls out a chair for her to which she smiles charmingly and takes her seat then he adjusts her seat before going back to his seat which was right across from her.

"I'm sorry for being late, I thought you wouldn't be able to make it since you are so busy these days" the girl pouts making his heart melt, "How can I keep you hanging sweetiepie" he says showing his dimples while she tucks a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Oh oppa, Thanks for the new LV collection you've sent me, I love them" she says making an ageyo face.

"I'm glad you like it, just don't hesitate to ask me why you want, I'll get you everything" he says making her nod at him. "Oppa! How's Tae?" she asks tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear, faint blush spreading across her cheeks which stabbed his heart but he pushed off that feeling and smiled at the girl, "He's good, he graduated so he's gonna work at the company" he says nonchalantly shrugging his shoulders.

"Oh, that's great! You should've got him with you, we could have a celebratory dinner together" she says pouting, "I would but he invited his bestfriend over for dinner who is having dinner with my family but since you've already asked me out I chose to have dinner with you" he says making her smile, "Aygoo you shouldn't have gone here then, family dinners are important" she says shaking her head, "Well I'm not interested in meeting hi female bestie, also you are way important than that" he says hoping she would notice his sincerity.

"Female bestie?" She asks making him sigh, "Yeah" he replies shortly picking up the menu to look through and order something. The whole place was empty because the man wanted to enjoy the time with the girl he had a crush on, he always does that. If she asks, he would dare to bring the moon for her. "Oppa, let's go to your place, I wanna have dinner with your family" she asks displaying her puppy eyes.

"He knew why she suddenly wanted to go for family dinner, he wanted to refuse her, hug her and tell her his feelings for her but he couldn't, cause he wanted her to be happy. "Are you sure, I booked this whole evening for us" he says closing the menu, "I'm sure, It's been quite a while since I've met my aunt and uncle so can we go?, please!" She pleads making his heavy heart weigh more.

"Sure, let's go then" he says making her smile and jump from her seat then hug him before leaving a kiss on his cheek. She skips her way ahead while the man smiles fondly at the girl.

Taehyung parks his car in the spacious garage before turning off the engine and looking at the girl beside him who was trying to calm her nerves, "Chill bub, my parents are gonna love you, more than me I know that for sure so you don't have to worry about anything except for my brothers hitting on you" he says with a wink making her chuckle and shake her head.

"Let's go" he says before they both get down and he leads the way ahead towards the maindoor. Y/N looks around to find herself walking on the driveway of a mansion, the front porch was vast with trees along both sides of the driveway and lights illuminating the whole path. Upon reaching in front of the maindoor Taehyung rings the door bell and a minute later the door opens revealing a middle aged woman wearing a uniform.

"Welcome home young master" the maid bows and moves aside, "Hi ahjumma" he greets the lady before leading Y/N inside. The modern mansion was incredible, the entrance hall was huge, one side leading to living space while the other has a staircase upstairs while straight ahead was leading to the back porch.

Taehyung taps the amused woman's shoulder making her flinch making him chuckle, "I know this place is incredible, me and my first older brother stay here with my parents while my second brother joins us whenever he's free" he says leading the girl ahead towards the living area.

They both enter the living space where they find a middle aged couple having a chat while seated on the couch and another tall male whose back was facing them, having a conversation on the phone.

"Eomma, Appa, we're here" Taehyung announces their arrival making the couple break their chat and turn to look at them making the tall man to turn back as well. The three people notice the familiar male then turn their gaze towards the chunky female who gets nervous due to their glances and looks down. A minute of silence later a soft hand raises the girl's chin making her come eye to eye with Taehyung's mother.

"Why'd you look down dear, won't you let us see your pretty face?" She asks in a motherly tone making her calm down and smile a little, "I'm sorry Mrs.Kim, I was nervous" she says making the elder laugh heartily, "You don't have to get shy or nervous dear, take us as your own family" she says making the latter nod.

"I'm Kim Kiaraa, Taehyung's Eomma. That's my husband Kim Jae-Sung, and that's my eldest son Kim SeokJin" she introduces to which she smiles and bows to each of them. "I'm Y/N L/N, Taehyung's friend" she introduces while they all smile at her. "Seriously hyung, do you have to wear a suit just for dinner at home?" Taehyung utters, noticing his hyung.

"Of course I had to, look at how pretty your friend looks, I have to make a good impression" he says adjusting his collar before reaching the chunky girl and taking her right hand and placing a kiss on the back of her hand before looking at her and throwing a wink at her making her blush at him only to gain a smack from his mother.

"Eomma what was that for?" Jin whines making the younger brother laugh, "That's what you get for hitting on my bub" he says mocking, "That was for making the girl uncomfortable, who do you think you are, acting like a prince anywhere you go" she shakes her head making the man widen his eyes, "Eomma, I am a prince" he dead pans making his family members to shake his head while the girl just stands there awkwardly.

"Don't mind my son dear he is just being a dork, come have a seat, I have lots of things I want to talk with you" she says before leading the girl towards the couch and getting comfortable there.
