It didn't rain on the day miracles died. The sun beamed in the blue sky, with only a few scattering of clouds. People woke up as they normally did and went about their everyday lives. Even the animals, plants, and trees looked the same.
The being who came down to Earth to investigate stood in the middle of the road, unsure of what to do. Everywhere it looked, humanity either needed the kind of help it alone couldn't provide, or they didn't even realize how dire their situation was.
