He stands beneath the rocky bridge created by the eons of waves crashing unfailingly into the cliff. Through the arch, he looks out to the horizon, the welcome line between the marble blue sky and the life-giving blue of the ocean.

A smile breaks out on his face when he sees a figure emerge from the farthest wave.

"Have you been waiting long?" The calm trade wind carries her voice to his awaiting ears long before she steps onto the shore.

"Only an eternity."

She reaches for him from the edge of the wave. When his fingers graze her cool warmth, the ocean curls around him, reinvigorating him with Life.
