I never know, it hurts so much when you get shot....

I fell flat on the floor as Daniel rushed to me, putting my head on his leg...he was crying.... I gave him a smile...

"Don't die." Daniel said as he shook his head as I nodded my head...

"Promise me, you won't die." Daniel added...

Promise is a big thing... it's not my choice whether I would live or not.. Can I promise Daniel this one? Can I live?

"Yes." I said sliently as he brought out his pinky finger,I brought mine which was already stained with blood as we interlocked both finger as I smiled......

"Is she okay?" I could hear a familiar voice, I moved my head only to see Ruby..

"I guess so." Daniel said.

"How is Harris and Darvis?" I asked

Ruby nodded her head, "I called the police when Daniel was fighting with Harris, they have been arrested."

As I let out a small laugh..

"The ambulance is here." Ruby said as Daniel hurriedly carried me in a bridal style..

"Ahhh." I winced in pain...

I was taken to the ambulance as Daniel held my hand, while I was on the bed....

There is a adage that says “Don't fear death, fear the un-lived life.” I haven't even live my life to the width,I just started the length of life...

I was taken to the surgery room,as I closed my eyes...

It's been two hours since they've taken Anna,I paced round the hallway with my hands closed together...

"She would be fine." Ruby said as she was sitted next to David....

I nodded my head.. "She would be fine,she would be fine, Please be fine." I mumbled under my breath when I saw William and a lady coming towards me...

"Where Anna?" William asked as I looked at him...

"Answer me." William yelled..

"And what do you want me to say?" I yelled back... "At least we are at the hospital, you should know what happened to her... I'm not okay right now,if she dies,my life is a fucking mess,I won't have someone to be there for me, to protect because.. she was always there for me,I want to be there for her also." I said as I sat down on the hospital chair, crying....

"I'm so sorry, but am also worried, she's my sister... my younger sister." William said as he sat beside me patting my back...

"Yeah,I understand." I said while nodding my head...

As the surgery room opened, when the doctor came out removing his gloves...

"How is she?" I rushed towards the doctor,so as William said others...

"She's fine, she just need some rest." The doctor said..

" Can we see her?" William said..

"Maybe tommorow, she needs some rest." The doctor said as he left...

"You guys can go,I would stay with Anna." I said..

"Okay." Ruby said..

" Take care of yourself and Anna." David said as he and Ruby left the hospital..

"I'm staying too." William said..

"No,am sure Anna would wake tomorrow morning, she would need something to eat,you would know her favorite." I said..

" Yeah, William we would come very early tomorrow." The young lady said as William nodded..

"Okay, take care." William said as he left with the young lady as I sighed softly.....

The next morning

I woke up on the hospital chair, when I saw a nurse in front of me...

"She's awake." The nurse said with a smile..

" Really?" I asked surprisingly as I ran to her ward, I saw Anna sitted with her back on the hard surface of the bed..

"Anna." I said as I rushed and planted a kiss on her lip...

I was so happy to see her, strong again...

"Are you okay?" I asked as she looked at him surprised..

"Yeah." Anna said as she cleared her throat...

"Thanks for fulfilling your promise." I said as she smiled..

" So Harris and Darvis are still with the police?" Anna asked as I nodded my head..

"Don't you want to know what happened between Harris and I?" I said..

"Umm,yes.. I mean duh." Anna said as she let out a small laugh but stopped as she hissed in pain touching her waist where she was shot...

"Sorry." I said as she nodded her head... I sighed softly..

"Harris used to have a foster father,I didn't even know he had a biological father somewhere.. Harris's foster was strict and he never actually gave Harris money... Harris wanted money for a particular admission so we decided to..."

Flashback

"I need the money." Harris said to me as he sipped the coffee....

"So what are you going to do? My Mom freezed my account." I said..

"I heard a new man is in town,he brought a lot of money with him." Harris said..

" Oh great.. you can just go ask him for money." I said as I smiled..

"No eww,we are going to steal the money." Harris said as I looked at him in shock..

" What's we? Who we? Steal the what? You expect me to do that with you." I said as he gave me a straight expression..

"Aren't we friends? Didn't you promise me you would always be there with me and stay by my side?"  Harris said putting in a tight spot..

"Yes,I did.. but it's not proper." I said..

"Are you going to help me or not?" Harris asked as I sighed softly..

" Yes, I would but we are going to need some help." I said..

"Nicholas and Blake are in." Harris said.

" So you have been planning all this without me knowing." I said..

" Thanks for the help." Harris said...

During the operation.

"Harris,we need to move." I said as I carried the bag of money but he kept looking at a particular picture, but I didn't see it..

"I would carry the bag." Harris said collecting the bag from me..

We came out of the room seeing Nicholas and Blake there...

"We can go now." I said as I ran forward when I heard two gun shot,I turned back seeing Harris's gun pointing forward to me, Nicholas and Blake were on the floor lying lifeless..

"What did you do?" I asked softly

"What is meant to be done?" Harris said as he pulled his trigger towards me but missed it as I ran to a particular room and jumped out of the window...

"Oh so, that's why you were looking for Harris desperately." Anna said as I nodded my head...

"Yea, and I guess that put you in a lot of pressure." I said as she chuckled softly...

" Can you still punch bad guys?" Anna said as she held my hand which was already bruised..

I chuckled softly, "Yes,I can still punch bad guys for you."

"Awwwn, how cute." Anna said as I smiled...

" Anna,making memories with you is my favorite thing to do and you are always there for me even when I'm pushing you away." I said as Anna smiled..

" I'm not really good in this but You are the finest, loveliest, tenderest, and most beautiful person I have ever known and even that is an understatement." I said as Anna chuckled..

"I love you, Anna Mark." I said as she gasped..

"You love me?" Anna asked as I nodded my head...

Anna let out a small laugh as she held my hand,"I love you too, Daniel Hart."

I let out a small laugh,as I brought my face closer to kiss her when the door opened showing William, Ruby, David and the young lady as I pushed myself away from Anna...

"Sorry." They choursed..

"Anna." William said as he hugged Anna..

"Ahhhh." Anna winced in pain..

"Sorry,does it still hurt?" William said as Anna nodded..

" This Jessica." William said as he held the young lady..

Oh so her name is Jessica...

"Hi." Jessica said as she smiled waving Anna..

"So you are the one who has the key to my brother's locked heart?" Anna said as I smirked at her words..

"Awwwn." Jessica said..

"My heart is locked." William said as he shrugged..

"Oh Anna." Ruby said as sat beside her..

"You are looking all pale." Ruby said...

" Aww, what are great compliment to someone who just woke up from a gun shot." Anna said as Ruby chuckled..

" I know right." Ruby said...

"When am I getting discharged?, hospital isn't my favorite place." Anna said..

" The doctor said, you are getting discharged, next Sunday." David said..

" Oh really." Anna said as she pouted her lip..

Anna looked at me as I winked to her,as she blushed...

Gosh,am so happy..
