Star's POV

School was horrid. Everyone hates me for making them look bad in front off their hero, idol who ever that guy was. I still had the paper that the other kids tried to steal. Many times.

I was walking outside of the school when someone grabbed my shoulder and back pack and started to spin me around. Eventually they let go and I hit a tether ball poll. I have hit that pole many times so I know how to brace for impact. I stood up and walked away. I saw a police car with Officer Darren inside. I wave and keep walking.

"Probably here to pick up his kid," I thought walking down the road to hell- I mean 'home'. I passed the convenience store that was almost robbed that one time and went inside. Of coarse I stopped it. Me being to good person I am. The store clerk saw me and smiled.

"Usual?" He asked and I smiled and nodded. He passed me a cup and I walked over to the Slurpie machine and got orange crush, a straw and a lid. I walked over to the cashier and he nodded letting me take it. Free.

"Thank you bye!" I said waving walking out drinking my Slurpie. What there good!

I got to the orphanage and climbed in through the window. Still boarded up I left it. Couldn't care less. I put my bag for school down and grabbed my tazer, badge and belt and made my way to the station. I passed people making my rounds as normal when I saw a little boy about four walking around with a tear stained face. Alone.

"Hi there!" I said cheerfully as I approached the young child. "You lost?" I asked and he nodded his head crying to me. I picked him up calmed him down humming a soothing melody into his ear.

"I l-lost my MOMMY AND DADDY!" I shouted crying more. I patted his back as he cried a little more resting his head on my shoulder.

"MASON!" A woman called looking around.

"MASON WHERE ARE YOU!" A man called that looked familiar. Then it clicked. I saved that man not to long ago. The little boy perked up and looked around.

"THERE THERE!" He said pointing and waving his arms. I put him down and grabbed his hand. We walked over to the couple and he let go of my hand and ran into their arms. I smiled and walked off but before I could a small hand tugged on my arm. I looked down and the boy was tugging my arm and his parents behind him.

"Thank you so much Kid Hero!" The man said. That name, I hated it. One person calls me it now it's a thing.

"It's no problem I help when I can," I said smiling and turning back around.

"You helped us again. We must repay you," the woman said as I shook my head.

"His safety is your way of repaying me Madam, Sir. Take good care of him," I said ruffling they young boys hair.

"Please...Starkensy..." The man said as I turned to him.

I looked him in the face and a wave of memories hit me like a slap to the face...

*FLASHBACK*

I was running away. Away from dad. Away from HIM! He did this to me...

Then I remembered I can do anything to him or anyone.

Blood dripped down into my eyes as I ran into a building. The door was unlocked but very heavy. I kicked the door open and it whipped so far back it hit the wall with a...

I was running around when I heard voices.

All male...

NO NOT AGAIN!

I ran and ran as far away from GUYS as possible. I turned the corner and a man started to talk to me doing what I thought no one would do...

He helped me...

*FLASHBACK OVER*

"Adam..." I whispered and threw my arms around him engulfing him in a hug as he did the same to me.

"Always the first to find me huh Adam," I said as we parted from the hug.

"Apparently. It's great to see you again Star! Everyone misses you. I was stupid to let you go like that. I'm sorry," Adam said as I looked him in the eyes.

"No need to be sorry. Now look at me 'Kid Hero'..." I sighed and looked at the little boy. Baby Mason... I smiled remembering him crying as I held him... "Mason you've grown up little dude. You were a baby last time I saw you!" I said trying to change the subject. He smiled and hugged me. I turned to Alesa and smiled at her remembering how timid my 'father' made me.

"Alesa! You haven't aged at all!" I said hugging her. I could hear the smile on her face when she talked.

"Aww thank you! You my Star have grown up into a fine young girl," she complimented when I looked at the time.

"Shot I have to go now. I need to get to the station... I'll see you guys around. STAY SAFE!" I yelled running off to my next thing in my agenda.

Busting Sebastian. He was and still is the main bully in our school but targets me. He brags about his dad being a police officer and stuff. I don't care he hurts people and he hurts me. A lot. People and reporters ask about my cuts and bruises but I refuse to tell. I don't need to tell anyone.

It will just make the pain worse until it's unbearable. I sigh as I round the corner to the police station. I see officer Darren talking to him. Seb.

I walked over and his dad distracted him from seeing me while I get some equipment so they can here me and also test it so it works and stuff. I turn into the weapons and ammunition area with gadgets and stuff.

"Hey Steve! Got the mic and equipment set?" I asked sitting on the metal table as he set some stuff next to me.

"All set just need to put it on." I nodded and put the mic and antenna on my belt and shirt. Both very small and connected using a small thin black wire.
